What the Coldheart perks do
Linearly grants up to 80% increased damage as the beam is charged to 100% power. Beam Energy is generated in two ways: • Dealing damage grants 40% energy over 1 second. Initially has a 0.267 second delay before this starts granting energy. • Collecting an Ionic Trace grants 50% energy over 0.5 seconds Not generating energy for 1.05 seconds rapidly cools the weapon down to 0% over 0.2 seconds. Reaching maximum energy grants 100 Stability and 100 Reload Speed.

At 100% Beam Energy, hits spawn an Ionic Trace. 2 second cooldown between spawns.
