A full vault is 1,300 decisions you have been putting off. Shard or Keep syncs your vault through the official Bungie API and appraises every single item — so the only thing left to do in-game is the sharding itself.
Each synced weapon is matched perk-by-perk against curated community wishlists — more than 180,000 recommended rolls. A match tells you which curator wanted this roll and why; an explicit trash-roll flag tells you it is safe to let go. Enhanced perks count as their base versions, so Tier 5 and crafted weapons are judged fairly.
Own four copies of the same gun? They are ranked automatically — wishlist verdict first, then gear tier, then power — and only the best copy is suggested as the keeper. New drops are checked against what you already own the moment they sync, so junk never accumulates again.
Armor is not judged by gut feeling or total stats: archetype, artifice slots and tuning are read from the item's actual sockets, and a piece is only called redundant when something you own dominates every stat mix it could reach at masterwork. Set bonuses and class items are handled.
The Bungie API cannot dismantle items — nothing this app does can destroy gear. You get a ranked Shard List and a bulk-move helper that stages confirmed junk on your character for a quick dismantle session; locked items, loadout gear and high-kill favorites are never suggested.
