Using your Class Ability (even while the weapon is stowed) grants you 'Slice' for 8 seconds. While 'Slice' is active, damaging non-Severed targets Severs them, grants a stack of Slice, and refreshes the buff duration. (Hitting immune targets also triggers this.) Reaching 5 stacks immediately removes the buff. If the Severing hit kills the target, the perk will not trigger and you will not gain a stack.
While Aiming Down Sights: • Increased Body Shot damage • 15% decreased Auto Aim Cone Size (No effect on Magnetism AKA reticle stickiness) Body Shot damage increases: • Auto/Scout Rifle, Bow, Hand Cannon: 20% • Pulse/Trace Rifle, Sidearm, SMG: 10%
On Weapon Kill, for 7 seconds: Grants 1 Stack on Bodyshot Kills and 2 Stacks on Precision Kills. Maximum of 4 Stacks. Each stack grants 5 Range, 8 Stability, and -1.25% Accuracy Cone Size.
Every 30 points of damage taken with the weapon readied grants a Stack of 'To the Pain'. Maximum of 10 Stacks. Stowing the weapon removes all Stacks. Each Stack grants ? Handling and 2 Aim Assist, maxing out at ? Handling and 20 Aim Assist. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.
Grants linearly scaling benefits as the Magazine drops from 50% of its base capacity to empty: • 12.5% to 25% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 0 to 30? Stability
Precision Kills grant 70 Reload Speed with a 0.9x decreased Reload Animation Duration for 6 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.
Scoring a Precision Kill or 3 kills within 3 seconds of each other spawns a Threadling at the target's location.
Finishing a reload within 3.6 seconds of a kill grants 25% increased damage for 5 seconds. Stowing the weapon removes the buff. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.
Elemental Pickup Interactions grant 30% [10%] increased damage for a variable duration based on the pickup. Can be activated while stowed. Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, and Tangle Detonations grant the buff for 4 seconds. Throwing a held Tangle grants 4 additional seconds. Firesprites and Void Breaches grant the buff for 8 seconds. Additional Pickups can extend the duration up to the maximum of 16 seconds. Elemental Pickup Interactions: • Destroying a Tangle (or Elemental Orbs), either by shooting or throwing. • Collecting Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, or Void Breaches Does not trigger with Stasis Shards generated from Facet of Awakening or Facet of Command.
Finishing a reload 5.2 seconds after a Precision Kill or 3 kills within ? seconds of each reduces Firing Delay by 30% for 6 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.
While the perk's buff isn't active, Weapon Kills grant 'Golden Tricorn x1' for 7 seconds, increasing weapon damage by 15%. Additional Kills refresh the buff duration. While Golden Tricorn x1 or x2 is active: Grenade or Elemental Melee Kills matching the element of the Weapon grant Golden Tricorn x2 for 10 seconds, increasing weapon damage by 50%. Dealing non-Precision Direct damage grants the following benefits for 0.55 seconds: • 20% increased Precision Bonus (complicated, see specific damage increases below) • 3% increased Aim Assist Cone size Precision damage increases by weapon type/frame: • Pulse Rifles: Adaptive: 7.1%, Aggressive Burst: 10%, Heavy Burst: 9.5%, High-Impact: 8.74%, Lightweight: 6.3%, Rapid-Fire: 10.3% • Sidearms: Adaptive Burst: 8.46%, Heavy Burst: 7.36% • Scout Rifles: Precision: 8.66% [Bug] Heavy Burst Hand Cannons: 7% increased Weakspot damage. The distinction between Weakspots and Critspots is complicated and we might write an explainer blog post about it eventually. For the purposes of PvP, the two are equivalent.

While 1 teammate is currently dead: Grants 10 Range, 10 Stability, 25 Reload Speed, and 5 Aim Assist. While Solo or 2+ teammates are currently dead: Grants 20 Range, 20 Stability, 50 Reload Speed, and 10 Aim Assist. Only activates when the weapon has been readied for 1 second. Does not work in the Rumble Crucible Game Mode.
After not having exchanged damage for 1 second: Grants 20 Handling, 40 Reload Speed, and a 0.95x Reload Duration Multiplier. Swords receive up to a 12.5% increase to Movement Speed instead. After not having exchanged damage for 2 seconds: Grants 20 Handling, 40 Reload Speed, and a 5% decresed Reload Duration. Swords receive up to a 25% increase to Movement Speed instead. Can activate while stowed. Exchanging damage refers to either dealing or receiving damage. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.
The upper 50% of the Magazine has up to 20 Stability and 30 Reload Speed. The benefits decrease linearly as the Magazine approaches 50% capacity.
