pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Aisha’s Care is a slightly new archetype of the legendary pulse rifle added in with Corrasion and Nullify. Does the Trials of Osiris version stand out compared to the others? Well the best reload perk is Keep Away, and Slice does offer some greater utility in group settings lowering other enemies outgoing damage. Desperado is funky on this version of a pulse rifle, and Hatchling does give this pulse a bit of Strand synergy." Recommended MW: Reload Speed.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 110 from 23 July 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/6VJFjsCdq5QckUaK2qXQn7?si=9032e578e9874dda) with @ImpetusAlways, @CourtProjects and @Saint_Kabr (PvE / PvE-MinorSpec / PvE-God / M+KB / Controller): First-choice PvE pick for add-clearing minor enemies in general activities. Aisha's Care (Adept) is the first heavy burst frame pulse rifle that sits in the kinetic slot, as a Strand weapon, but unfortunately the trait perks are mainly PvP focussed, with it being a Trials weapon. Base stats are excellent compared to the small family of peers, and equate to 37.40m ADS range before damage dropoff, 0.39s ADS speed, 0.44s ready and 0.43s stow speed, and 2.05s reload speed. Saying that, handling and reload speed could definitely do with some help from the barrel and magazine perk slots. At the ranges you'll be engaging enemies, Keep Away in the first trait perk column will improve accuracy, as well as improving reload time to 1.58s. That makes it ideal to pair with Desperado, which provides an effective +33% increase in damage output. Alternatively, you can synergise with Strand fragments with Hatchling - you should be getting plenty of easy crit kills, or boost damage output through Collective Action or Golden Tricorn. You have a choice of three useful origin trait, so just go with whatever suits your playstyle or current activity. Recommended MW: Handling or Reload Speed, with a Backup Mag mod.

Depending on how you like the feel of this pulse or what environment you’re going to be going into 3v3 or 6v6 you might want different perks." Recommended MW: Range or Stability.

Slice is always useful in the first trait perk column when facing a boss, to apply Sever and reduce damage output by -40% - particularly running a Hunter, and with access to Strand aspects and fragments. You can go all-in to Strand with Hatchling - you should be getting plenty of easy crit kills to generate Threadlings, or boost damage output through Collective Action or Golden Tricorn. You have a choice of three useful origin trait, so just go with whatever suits your playstyle or current activity. Recommended MW: Handling or Reload Speed, with a Backup Mag mod.

What these Aisha's Care (Adept) perks do

Hatchling

Scoring a Precision Kill or 3 kills within 3 seconds of each other spawns a Threadling at the target's location.

Slice

Using your Class Ability (even while the weapon is stowed) grants you 'Slice' for 8 seconds. While 'Slice' is active, damaging non-Severed targets Severs them, grants a stack of Slice, and refreshes the buff duration. (Hitting immune targets also triggers this.) Reaching 5 stacks immediately removes the buff. If the Severing hit kills the target, the perk will not trigger and you will not gain a stack.

Armor-Piercing Rounds

Grants 5% increased damage against Elemental and Barrier Champion Shields. Allows bullets to overpenetrate enemies once.

High-Caliber Rounds

Hits inflict increased Flinch on Enemies. PVE: Tier 1-2 Minors can be repeatedly staggered. Higher Tier Combatants stagger quicker. PVP: Flinch against Players varies based on damage and Weapon Archetype. Flinch increase ranges between 5-10%.

Collective Action

Elemental Pickup Interactions grant 30% [10%] increased damage for a variable duration based on the pickup. Can be activated while stowed. Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, and Tangle Detonations grant the buff for 4 seconds. Throwing a held Tangle grants 4 additional seconds. Firesprites and Void Breaches grant the buff for 8 seconds. Additional Pickups can extend the duration up to the maximum of 16 seconds. Elemental Pickup Interactions: • Destroying a Tangle (or Elemental Orbs), either by shooting or throwing. • Collecting Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, or Void Breaches Does not trigger with Stasis Shards generated from Facet of Awakening or Facet of Command.

Golden Tricorn

While the perk's buff isn't active, Weapon Kills grant 'Golden Tricorn x1' for 7 seconds, increasing weapon damage by 15%. Additional Kills refresh the buff duration. While Golden Tricorn x1 or x2 is active: Grenade or Elemental Melee Kills matching the element of the Weapon grant Golden Tricorn x2 for 10 seconds, increasing weapon damage by 50%. Clarity tooltip editor's note: We're replacing the previous Powered Melee term with Elemental Melee. The former is now exclusively used for perks that require the consumption of a Melee Ability Charge. This note is temporary and will be removed in the future.

Desperado

Finishing a reload 5.2 seconds after a Precision Kill or 3 kills within ? seconds of each reduces Firing Delay by 30% for 6 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Keep Away

While no enemies are within 15 meters: Grants 10 Range, 30 Reload Speed, and decreases Accuracy Cone Growth by 5?%.

Headseeker

Dealing non-Precision Direct damage grants the following benefits for 0.55 seconds: • 20% increased Precision Bonus (complicated, see specific damage increases below) • 3% increased Aim Assist Cone size Precision damage increases by weapon type/frame: • Pulse Rifles: Adaptive: 7.1%, Aggressive Burst: 10%, Heavy Burst: 9.5%, High-Impact: 8.74%, Lightweight: 6.3%, Rapid-Fire: 10.3% • Sidearms: Adaptive Burst: 8.46%, Heavy Burst: 7.36% • Scout Rifles: Precision: 8.66% [Bug] Heavy Burst Hand Cannons: 7% increased Weakspot damage. The distinction between Weakspots and Critspots is complicated and we might write an explainer blog post about it eventually. For the purposes of PvP, the two are equivalent.

Zen Moment

Weapon Hits grant 1 Stack of the perk for 1 second up to the maximum of 5? Stacks. Benefits granted per Stack: • Grants ?% Flinch Resistance • Reduces Visual Weapon Shake by 15% • Reduces Reticle Bounce by 15% Stacks gained per Weapon Hit by weapon type: • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles: 2? • Pulse Rifles, Sidearms: 1.5 • Other Weapons: 1

To the Pain

Every 30 points of damage taken with the weapon readied grants a Stack of 'To the Pain'. Maximum of 10 Stacks. Stowing the weapon removes all Stacks. Each Stack grants ? Handling and 2 Aim Assist, maxing out at ? Handling and 20 Aim Assist. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.
