What the Forthcoming Deviance (Adept) perks do

Rapid-Fire Glaive

Fast firing melee/ranged polearm with a frontal shield. Generates shield energy on dealing ranged damage.

Ballistic Tuning

Power diverted from shield. • Greatly increases range • Decreases shield duration

Supercooled Accelerator

Optimized for extended range. • Increases range • Slightly decreases reload speed • Slightly decreases handling speed

Tempered Truss Rod

High stiffness for quick handling. • Greatly increases handling speed • Slightly decreases reload speed • Slightly decreases range

Low-Impedance Windings

Improved output efficiency. • Increases shield duration • Slightly increases reload speed • Decreases range

Auxiliary Reserves

Additional energy storage. • Greatly increases shield duration • Decreases reload speed

Lightweight Emitter

Weight reduction for better agility. • Increases reload speed • Slightly increases handling speed • Decreases shield duration

Extended Mag

This weapon has a greatly increased magazine size, but reloads much slower. • Greatly increases magazine size • Greatly decreases reload speed • Increases airborne effectiveness

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.

Appended Mag

This weapon's magazine is built for higher capacity. • Increases magazine size

Accurized Rounds

This weapon can fire longer distances. • Increases range

Swap Mag

Decreases Ready/Stow Animation Duration by 10%.

Light Mag

Improved reload and range. • Increases reload speed • Slightly increases range

Disruption Break

On Elemental, Barrier or Guardian Shield Break: Applies Kinetic Damage Vulnerability to the enemy, increasing Kinetic damage taken by 50% for 5.5 [5] seconds. Stacks with all other Buffs and Debuffs (including itself).

Grave Robber

Powered Melee Hits and (Glaive) Melee Kills refill the magazine from reserves. 3 second cooldown between activations.

Immovable Object

While blocking and stationary: Glaive Projectiles Hits grant 90% increased Weapon Energy.

Impulse Amplifier

Passively grants 20 Reload Speed and 15% decreased Reload Animation Duration (20% for Rocket Launchers). Passively increases Projectile Velocity based on Weapon Archetype: • Rocket Launchers: 10% • Support-Frame Auto Rifles: 15% • Micro-Missile Frame Weapons: 25%

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Replenishing Aegis

Refills 1 round into the Magazine from reserves upon blocking damage. 1 second cooldown after activation. Does not work while the magazine is overfilled (assumed).

Reconstruction

Every 6 seconds while not firing the weapon: Loads 25% of the Magazine Capacity (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Can overfill the Magazine up to double the normal capacity. Works even while stowed.

Dimensional Shift

Collecting a Void Breach grants 'Dimensional Breach' until your next Weapon Kill. Scoring a Weapon Kill while Dimensional Breach is active grants a 22.5 HP Void Overshield for 8 seconds (12 with Echo of Persistence) and begins a 5 second timer. Additional weapon kills extend the timer back to 5 seconds.

Repulsor Brace

Kills against Void Debuffed enemies grant a 45 HP Void Overshield for 8 seconds (12 with Echo of Persistence).

Unstoppable Force

Blocking damage with the Glaive Shield grants 20% increased projectile damage for 4 seconds. Buff is removed if you stop blocking.

Vorpal Weapon

Deals increased damage against Minibosses, Bosses, and Vehicles, as well as Players in their Super Ability. Damage increase by Ammo Type: • Primary Weapons: 20% [60%] • Special Weapons: 15% [20%] • Power Weapons: 10% [20%]

Desperate Measures

Weapon Kills grant 'Desperate Measures x1' (DMx1), increasing damage by 10% for 7 seconds. Grenade or Melee Kills grant 20% increased damage for 7 seconds (DMx2). Scoring another Grenade or Melee Kill with DMx2 active increases this to 30% (DMx3). Can be activated while stowed. Weapon, Grenade, and Melee Kills refresh the buff duration.

Close to Melee

Glaive Projectile Kills grant 60% [30%] increased Glaive Melee damage for 10 seconds. Dealing Projectile or Melee damage extends the buff duration by 5 seconds, up to 10 seconds.

Destabilizing Rounds

Weapon Kills apply Volatile to enemies in a 7 meter radius around the target and grant Volatile Rounds for 3 seconds. 1.5 second cooldown between activations.

Chaos Reshaped

Being in Combat for 12 seconds grants a Stack of 'Chaos Reshaped' for 7 seconds. Maintaining the first Stack for 12 seconds grants a second Stack. Buff can be activated while stowed. For Chaos Reshaped, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Benefits at Chaos Reshaped x1 and x2: • x1: grants 20% increased damage • x2: grants 35% increased damage and grants a periodic burst of healing Healing effect is bugged! While Chaos Reshaped x2 is active: Stowing the weapon or keeping it readied for 7 seconds grants a continous healing effect of 5 HP per second. Stowing this weapon grants the effect for 1 to 7 seconds (cycling, it's complicated), while keeping it readied after activation makes the healing effectively constant. While this healing effect is active, NO OTHER SOURCE OF HEALING CAN RESTORE THE FINAL [~35 to 5] HP OF YOUR HEALTH BAR! This unrecoverable HP segment can only be healed by Chaos Reshaped's 5/HPs effect. For more details, visit the perk description in the Destiny Data Compendium.

Chain Reaction

Weapon Kills trigger an elemental explosion matching the weapon's element. Damage and radius of the explosions varies based on the weapon's ammo type: • Special Weapons: Up to 67.2 [44.8] damage in a 2.4 meter radius • Power Weapons: Up to 109.2 [72.8] damage in a 3 meter radius

Collective Action

Elemental Pickup Interactions grant 30% [10%] increased damage for a variable duration based on the pickup. Can be activated while stowed. Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, and Tangle Detonations grant the buff for 4 seconds. Throwing a held Tangle grants 4 additional seconds. Firesprites and Void Breaches grant the buff for 8 seconds. Additional Pickups can extend the duration up to the maximum of 16 seconds. Elemental Pickup Interactions: • Destroying a Tangle (or Elemental Orbs), either by shooting or throwing. • Collecting Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, or Void Breaches Does not trigger with Stasis Shards generated from Facet of Awakening or Facet of Command.

Collective Demolition

Collecting an Elemental Pickup enables Weapon Damage to generate Grenade Ability energy per hit for 8 seconds. Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, and Shot Tangles extend the timer by 4 seconds. Firesprites, Void Breaches, and Thrown Tangles extend the timer by 8 seconds. Timer can be extended to a maximum of 16 seconds. Grenade energy granted by weapon type: Spreadshot HC: 0.5% Burst Sidearm: 0.78% Fusion Rifle: 1.15% Rocket Pulse: 1.95% Sidearm: 2.34% Scout: 3.34% Rocket Launcher: 12.9% Elemental Pickups include Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, Tangles, and Void Breaches.
