Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 126 from 17 December 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/6SVRlV4ttvPkAm9HA44Km0?si=a9d7a25536b747c3) with @ImpetusAlways, @CourtProjects and @Saint_Kabr (PvE PvE-Boss PvE-MinorSpec PvE-MajorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for bulkier Minor adds and Majors in general, and end-game underleveled content. If you're into the glaive life, Albedo Wing provides some variety, being one of the few aggressive frames available. At base the stats are solid - 38 Range equates to 19.09m and a projectile speed of 117m/s, 35 Handling is a 0.35s ready and 0.42s stow time, 30 Shield Duration is 9.95s when fully charged and 30 Reload Speed is a 2.98s reload. Magazine size is 4 (max 6) and with 0/1/2/3 Reserves mods, you'll have total ammo of 25/28/32/34 (max 36). You can focus on the shield duration stat with the haft perk for major damage reduction in PvE. Although the reload speed is also poor, we can get around that with traits, so Appended Mag ups mag size by one. In the first trait column, Replenishing Aegis refills the magazine by one on blocking damage with your shield or Grave Robber procs on glaive melees, and Close to Melee in the second boosts melee damage by ×1.3 for a projectile hit - all this works well with Titan Synthoceps or Hunter Triton Vice and Flow State. The Dawning Surprise origin trait is pretty potent for PvE - 6 Minor add rapid kills drops a "gift" for your fireteam which on pickup grants +20% energy to all your abilities, restores 22HP and starts health regeneration. Panda (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Eddy Current and Low-Impedance Winding give you 100 reload when you're Amplified making it way easier to proc Voltshot with every shot and reload. Air Trigger does give you close to max but doesn't quite hit there. If you're looking to use Albedo Wing as a primary you should opt for Air Trigger for better reserves." Recommended MW: Shield Duration.

What these Albedo Wing perks do

Close to Melee

Glaive Projectile Kills grant 60% [30%] increased Glaive Melee damage for 10 seconds. Dealing Projectile or Melee damage extends the buff duration by 5 seconds, up to 10 seconds.

Replenishing Aegis

Refills 1 round into the Magazine from reserves upon blocking damage. 1 second cooldown after activation. Does not work while the magazine is overfilled (assumed).

Grave Robber

Powered Melee Hits and (Glaive) Melee Kills refill the magazine from reserves. 3 second cooldown between activations.

Eddy Current

Grants the following after sprinting for 1.5 seconds with the weapon readied: • 20 Reload Speed • 0.95x Reload Duration Multiplier • ? Handling • 0.95x Handling Animation Duration Multiplier Sprinting refreshes the buff duration. Being Amplified removes the sprinting requirement and increases the Reload Speed stat bonus to 60.

Collective Action

Elemental Pickup Interactions grant 30% [10%] increased damage for a variable duration based on the pickup. Can be activated while stowed. Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, and Tangle Detonations grant the buff for 4 seconds. Throwing a held Tangle grants 4 additional seconds. Firesprites and Void Breaches grant the buff for 8 seconds. Additional Pickups can extend the duration up to the maximum of 16 seconds. Elemental Pickup Interactions: • Destroying a Tangle (or Elemental Orbs), either by shooting or throwing. • Collecting Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, or Void Breaches Does not trigger with Stasis Shards generated from Facet of Awakening or Facet of Command.

Voltshot

Finishing a reload within 5.3 seconds of a Weapon Kill grants Voltshot for 7 seconds. While Voltshot is active, your next Weapon Hit consumes the buff and applies Jolt to the target. Applied Jolt's damage (generally) does not count as Weapon Damage.

Closing Time

Grants linearly scaling benefits as the Magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty: • 10 to 20 Range • 30? to 50? Handling • 10-20% decreased Handling Animation Duration • 5?% to 10?% decreased Accuracy Cone Size Special weapons only receive 50% of the benefits. Stats are rounded up.

Golden Tricorn

While the perk's buff isn't active, Weapon Kills grant 'Golden Tricorn x1' for 7 seconds, increasing weapon damage by 15%. Additional Kills refresh the buff duration. While Golden Tricorn x1 or x2 is active: Grenade or Elemental Melee Kills matching the element of the Weapon grant Golden Tricorn x2 for 10 seconds, increasing weapon damage by 50%. Clarity tooltip editor's note: We're replacing the previous Powered Melee term with Elemental Melee. The former is now exclusively used for perks that require the consumption of a Melee Ability Charge. This note is temporary and will be removed in the future.

Beacon Rounds

Kills with the weapon grant a Stack of Beacon Rounds for 6 seconds. Maximum of 4 Stacks. Scoring futher Hits with the weapon can extend the buff duration up to the maximum of 4 seconds. Buff can be activated while stowed. Each Stack grants increased projectile tracking. Projectile Tracking is only in effect while the Targeted Reticle is active. Grants the following while you have active Stacks: • 15 Reload Speed • 0.9x Reload Duration Multiplier • 45% increased Projectile Tracking Cone size

Strategist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Class Ability Energy. Kills with Fusion Rifles, Glaives, Shotguns, and Sniper Rifles grant 20%. Class Ability usage grants ? Stability for ? seconds. Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown.
