pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): "Bold Endings and by extension Warden's Law don't really fit in any particular play style. They have good range, good chunk damage, but behave more like a pulse rifle / Crimson. They're not bad but take away one of hand cannon’s strongest benefits, peek shooting. If you want to use this competitively, you'll want as consistent of a hand cannon as.possible. Rapid Hit and Eye of the Storm add much needed consistency, while To the Pain can pair well with Eye of the Storm for maximum AA / accuracy bonuses." Recommended MW: Stability ornHandling.

pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "The first in a nice long list of new weapons is Bold Endings. A newish archetype being the heavy burst archetype, only occupied by Warden's Law. Bold Endings has the unique combination of Headstone and Dragonfly to immediately blow up those crystals. Great for add clear. Other solid options include Rapid Hit for reload speed and a tighter burst at max stacks, Strategist for immediate stability on class ability usage, and getting your class ability faster. Alongside Desperate Measures for great damage. Headstone with a damage perk or more AoE is probably going to be the play." Recommended MW: Stability or Handling.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 106 from 18 June 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/0GYlriUxhFqNHGLqb84C1G?si=bb5a2c9b339d4c35) with @ImpetusAlways, @CourtProjects and @Saint_Kabr. First-choice PvE pick for add-clearing Minor Spec enemies in general content, particularly when using Stasis fragments. Shapeable. There aren't many comparators for Bold Endings - the good news is that the base stats are great, but the bad news is that they're still not very good, with stability, handling and reload speed all low so, although it's hard-hitting, it feels a bit clunky. Use the barrel and magazine perks to fill in the gaps. If you're using Stasis-friendly subclass fragments to support your build, you should be able to create plenty of crystals with Headstone in the first trait column and generate shards that you can use to proc Collective Action's +20% damage boost. The Dealer's Choice origin trait is nice to have (who doesn't love more super energy?) - with two or three Pale Heart weapons, you'll notice the difference! Recommended MW: Reload Speed, with a Backup Mag mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-EndGame, PvE-God, M+KB, Controller

This roll is a speculative one, if you drop one, If you're using Stasis-friendly subclass fragments to support your build, you should be able to create plenty of crystals with Headstone in the first trait column to work with to proc fragments, and Demolitionist in the second column is always handy on a primary weapon to keep your grenade ability charged. What these Bold Endings perks do

Headstone

Precision Kills create a Large Stasis Crystal at the target's location. Tier 1-2 Minor and Tier 1 Elite Combatants only spawn a Medium Stasis Crystal. Creating 5 Crystals within ? seconds prevents the perk from activating for 5 seconds.

Desperate Measures

Weapon Kills grant 'Desperate Measures x1' (DMx1), increasing damage by 10% for 7 seconds. Grenade or Melee Kills grant 20% increased damage for 7 seconds (DMx2). Scoring another Grenade or Melee Kill with DMx2 active increases this to 30% (DMx3). Can be activated while stowed. Weapon, Grenade, and Melee Kills refresh the buff duration.

Dragonfly

Precision Kills cause targets to explode, dealing up to 123.89 [95.3] weapon-matching elemental damage in a 4.5-meter radius.

Rapid Hit

"Buffed Hits" grant 1 Stack of Rapid Hit for 2 seconds. Maximum of 5 Stacks. "Buffed Hits" refer to any "Yellow Number" Hits such as Precision Hits or Hits against debuffed targets. Buff at maximum strength grants: • 30 Handling • 40% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 17% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth The buff linearly scales from 0% at 80 Shield HP to 100% at 0 Shield HP (Critical Health). It initially triggers as you drop to 40 Shield HP — giving you 50% of the maximum buff. However, as you regenerate your Shield Health, the buff will still remain until you reach 80 Shield HP where the benefits scale down to zero.

Moving Target

To the Pain

Every 30 points of damage taken with the weapon readied grants a Stack of 'To the Pain'. Maximum of 10 Stacks. Stowing the weapon removes all Stacks. Each Stack grants ? Handling and 2 Aim Assist, maxing out at ? Handling and 20 Aim Assist. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Collective Action

Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, and Tangle Detonations grant the buff for 4 seconds. Throwing a held Tangle grants 4 additional seconds. Firesprites and Void Breaches grant the buff for 8 seconds. Additional Pickups can extend the duration up to the maximum of 16 seconds. Elemental Pickup Interactions: • Destroying a Tangle (or Elemental Orbs), either by shooting or throwing. • Collecting Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, or Void Breaches Does not trigger with Stasis Shards generated from Facet of Awakening or Facet of Command.

Demolitionist
