Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 91 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/50NPk7xF3Tt6X3DVucE9jU?si=44d2b7d44a5a4aec) with @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways. First-choice PvE pick for add-clear of Minor Spec enemies in end-game content. Like most world-drop weapons, Cold Front has pretty poor stats - including a stability of just 7, although (excluding Immortal, which is a stat monster), they're average for the frame subtype. Use the barrel and mag perks to help out with this. As the first trait column support perk, Perpetual Motion adds further stat bonuses just for moving, or Unrelenting's bonus health is useful in CQC, while in the second column as the signature perk, Frenzy boosts the handling and reload speed up to 100 and adds 15% bonus damage when procced. The Dawning Surprise origin trait is very useful in PvE - when the behind the scenes counter hits 100, the surprise is spawned on the ground for 10s and grants energy 10% to all abilities, grants 20HP and starts shield/health regeneration. It's not going to replace any of your more specified submachine guns for any particular subclass. But if you want something to turn your brain off and still clear rooms with ease. Stallion (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Okay wait, hear me out. This weapon has bad stats. The difference between minimum range and maximum range is like 3.5m, and while that might be significant if this weapon is your primary, it is not significant in my use case. A secondary. A sidearm, with a substantial heft boost. As much handling as I can squeeze out without losing a usable amount of stability, then Perpetual Motion to help those stats even further. But the main thing, the thing that really makes this roll a backup weapon is Cascade Point. Switching into Cascade to burn someone down like you've got a pocket Tarrabah just sounds fun.. Niche. Stats for All

Upon damaging 3 Separate Enemies within 3 seconds of each, for 10 seconds: • 35 Handling and Reload Speed • 10 Stability and Range • 5% increased Damage Falloff Distance • 0.95x Reload Duration Multiplier Buff duration cannot be refreshed.

One for All

Scoring Weapon Hits against 3 Separate Enemies within 3 seconds of each grants 35% increased damage for 10 seconds. Does not require Direct Hits. Buff duration cannot be refreshed.

Perpetual Motion

While moving at a minimum of 2 meters per second: Grants a Stack of 'Perpetual Motion' after 2 seconds and a second Stack after 10 seconds. Each Stack provides 10 Stability, 10 Handling, and 10 Reload Speed. All Stacks are removed if movement speed is below 2 m/s for 0.5 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Unrelenting

Starts Health Regeneration and restores 65 HP upon reaching 100% Activation Progress with Weapon Kills within 5 seconds of each. Activation Progress by Enemy Rank: • Minor Combatants: 34% • Players: 67% • Elites, Minibosses, and Bosses: 100%

Subsistence

Weapon Kills refill 10% of the magazine (rounded up) from reserves. Submachine Gun and Auto Rifle Kills refill 17% of the magazine.

Tap the Trigger

Firing grants 'Tap The Trigger' for 0.6 seconds, providing the following benefits: • 40 Stability • 50% decreased Recoil • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Size Fusion Rifles only receive 25% of the benefits. Buff cannot be refreshed until Automatic Weapons stop firing, or until the next burst. [Controller-Only] Weapon fires the instant trigger pressure is applied.

Rangefinder

Aiming Down Sights grants the following benefits: • 10 Range • 10% increased Effective Zoom • 5% increased Projectile Speed The Effective Zoom increase pushes out Aim Assist Falloff by 10%, reduces (Absolute) Recoil by 10% and narrows the Accuracy and Aim Assist Cones by the same amount. (This is the normal behavior of Zoom and isn't unique to Rangefinder)

Cascade Point

After scoring a kill or multiple Precision Hits within 5 seconds of each with a different weapon: Readying this weapon reduces its Firing Delay for 2.5 seconds. Firing Delay is reduced by 30% on SMGs and Machine Guns and by 40% on other archetypes. Precision Hits requried per weapon archetype: • Bows, Linear Fusion/Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaive Projectiles: 2 hits • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles: 4 hits • Auto/Trace/Pulse Rifles, SMGs, Machine Guns, Sidearms: 6 hits
