Overflow, Triple Tap, and Field Prep are all ways to get ammo, either by doubling the magazine, giving ammo back, or holding more in reserves. Reservoir Burst also gives you extra damage and some AoE splash damage on the first (or overflowed) shot. Frenzy gives bonus damage on every shot after it activates, and Chain Reaction gives a lot of explosions. Pick your poison and pair it with the best alternate column." Recommended MW: Charge Time.

They're less ideal than a point and click-in-their-general-direction weapon like a rocket or grenade launcher. That's just how it goes. Withering Gaze is phenomenal for the times when you hit a limb or a torso instead of their head allowing you or your teammates a very easy follow up kill. Unfortunately there's absolutely nothing to aid Withering Gaze. Even Perfect Float is the best we have and that's mid at best." Recommended MW: Range or Charge Time.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 129 from 4 February 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/19eFPPXbMv7cC0w8kJ234H?si=d61c9144b9aa4974) with @Saint_Kabr, @ImpetusAlways and @CourtProjects (PvE PvE-Boss PvE-BossSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for sustained Boss damage in general, and end-game underleveled content. Eyes Unveiled is a decent option if you don't already have a crafted Taipan but if you do, you can safely pass. At base, the stats are a bit low - 35 Range, 52 Stability is ×1.1360 flinch resist at 100 Resilience, 25 Handling is 0.46s ready, 0.37s ADS and 0.37s stow speed, 18 Reload Speed is a 2.53s reload and Recoil Direction is 59. The mag size is 5 (max 7), and with 0/1/2/3 reserves mods total ammo is 24/26/27/28 (max 28). Use the barrel perk to add Handling and help control recoil to land crits easier, while the battery perk can be used to increase magazine size or speed up Charge Time. For sustained damage, in the first trait perk column Field Prep or Enhanced Field Prep gets you to maximum total ammo with a single reserves mod, and boosts Handling and Reload when crouched. In the second, Frenzy boosts damage by ×1.15 and maxes out Handling and Reload Speed stats while in combat, or if you're in a fireteam, Withering Gaze weakens targets to boost your whole fireteam's damage by an effective ×1.15 just for ADSing for 1.5s. Willing Vessel passively increases Stability, Handling and Reload Speed for dealing damage (as well as on a kill too), particularly when you're in a fireteam, which is always useful. Recommended MW: Handling or Reload Speed, with an Adept Backup Mag mod. Accelerated Coils

Decreases charge time by 40ms and damage by 2%.

Reservoir Burst

Passively grants 30 Magazine Size stat. (Identical to a Backup Mag mod) While Magazine is at or above maximum capacity: Grants 30% increased damage and causes enemies to explode on death, dealing 162.5 damage in a ? meter radius. Explosions inherit the weapon's element and Combatant Damage Scaling. Explosions triggered with Linear Fusion Rifle kills deal an additional 30% increased damage.

Overflow

Upon picking up Special or Heavy Ammo: Refills and Overfills the Magazine from reserves. Overfill amount maxes out at 100% of the Magazine Capacity. Activates even while stowed.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Chain Reaction

Weapon Kills trigger an elemental explosion matching the weapon's element. Damage and radius of the explosions varies based on the weapon's ammo type: • Special Weapons: Up to 67.2 [44.8] damage in a 2.4 meter radius • Power Weapons: Up to 109.2 [72.8] damage in a 3 meter radius

Triple Tap

Scoring 3 Precision Hits within 2 seconds of each refills 1 Ammo into the Magazine from thin air. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Precision Hit counter persists through stow.

Field Prep

Grants the following while Crouched: • 50 Reload Speed • 0.8x Reload Duration Multiplier • 0.8x Ready/Stow Duration Multiplier Passively grants 20 Ammo Generation stat. (50% more than 1 Ammo Generation armor mod)

Withering Gaze

Aiming Down Sights (ADS) for 1.5 seconds without firing and staying ADS causes your next shot to apply Weaken on a Direct Hit. Timer starts as soon as ADS input is pressed.

Perfect Float

After being in Combat for 6 seconds: Grants 30 Airborne Effectiveness and 35% Flinch Resistance for 10 seconds. Can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Pefect Float, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 3 seconds.

Successful Warm-Up

Weapon Kills decrease Charge/Draw Time by 37.5% for 6 seconds. Kills while the perk is active add 4 seconds to the duration up to a maximum of 20 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Hip-Fire Grip

Grants the following benefits while hipfiring: • 25 Stability and 15 Aim Assist • 2.7° larger Precision Aim Cone Angle • 30% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 20% increased Aim Assist Falloff Distance • 20% increased Damage Falloff Distance The Damage Falloff increase does not apply to The Last Word, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, and Fusion Rifles. PvP-specific note: the Precision Aim Cone Angle increase essentially just allows you to hit Crits while aimed above or slightly to the side of the head. (This is already the default behavior of Submachine Guns, Sidearms, Bows, Machine Guns, and Linear Fusion Rifles so it does not affect them)
