Constructed by @Adamsdown_Boy (PvE PvE-Boss PvE-SustainedDamage PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller): Backup PvE roll for sustained DPS against a single yellow-bar target in activities rated Normal, Hard or Very Hard difficulty, particularly on Arc builds. Stormchaser is an adaptive burst linear fusion rifle, which are rated D-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic being "worse DPS than even upper-middle special weapons and no access to ammo return perks". The frame intrinsic offers built in Anti-Barrier, fires a 3-round burst as per the https://www.destiny2.science/ Destiny Data Compendium. The stats are decent by comparison with its peers - you can see them at https://destiny.report/w/2862666249/stormchaser and hopefully https://d2foundry.gg/w/2862666249 will show how weapon stats impact in-game performance when the site is back up and running. The recoil direction is right and reasonably tight so you could improve recoil control or just look to boost Stability to help hit crits, or Handling if you can land your shots. As the battery perk, Accelerated Coils improves charge time by 40ms at the cost of ×0.98 base damage, or Enhanced Battery with a Backup Mag mod gets you the maximum of 7 shots. To be honest, adaptive burst LFRs are a weak subfamily for boss damage but, if you insist and are running an Arc build, in the first trait perk column Supercharged Magazine refills 5% of the magazine every 1.5s while you're Amplified or, after you sprint when Amplified to gain Speed Booster this accelerates to 5% every 0.25s while the buff is active, overflowing the magazine to up to ×2 capacity, or for a double damage roll, Jolting Feedback applies Arc Jolt after 4 hits (3 when enhanced or when amplified), triggering chain lightning on further hits for both target and AoE damage. For damage, in the second column there's Gear Shift which stacks up to ×5 on reloads after kills or becoming Amplified for a refreshable 15s, granting up to a max ×1.35 damage boost. Less Arc based for damage, there's Aggregate Charge to provide a stack for each different elemental debuff up to ×3 stacks to boost damage by a max ×1.3 (×1.33 enhanced), with each stack lasting as long as the debuff is active, Precision Instrument to grant escalating damage repeated crit hits up to a max ×1.25 at 6 stacks (×1.3 enhanced) for 1.25s or until you miss a crit or Firing Line to boost crit damage by ×1.2 when you're within 15m of two or more allies in a fireteam. The Bitterspite origin trait stacks up to ×5 on receiving damage which are consumed on reload to boost Reload Speed up to a max +50 (+55 enhanced) with a ×0.9 reload animation scalar. Recommended MW: Charge Time, with a Backup Mag or Charge Time mod, or your preferred choice to boost weapon stats, ammo generation, or elemental pickups for builds.|tags:PvE PvE-Boss PvE-SustainedDamage PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller

For damage and Prismatic synergy, in the second column Elemental Honing grants an escalating stack of damage up to ×1.35 for 20s (23s enhanced) for each elemental damage type inflicted, which can be refreshed with a new damage type until you've run through all 5, or Aggregate Charge provides a stack for each different elemental debuff up to ×3 stacks to boost damage by a max ×1.3 (×1.33 enhanced), with each stack lasting as long as the debuff is active.
