pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Fatebringer is finally craftable. Did I slog my butt off in a master VoG trying to get this? No I cheesed the heck out of Templar and Atheon, but I don't doubt it was hard doing a full run. I just wanted my Timelost flashlight gun. Not too much has changed with this version other than Kinetic Tremor and Magnificent Howl being notable additions. If you really need a kinetic hand cannon with Magnificent Howl, then farm out the normal version and craft it. I wouldn't go for the Timelost unless you really want to flex your loot." Recommended MW: Handling.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Fatebringer was never really anyone's first choice. The model is just too obstructive. However the perks more than made up for the flashlight. Eye of the Storm and Explosive Payload in its prime was a force to be reckoned with. Fatebringer shot easy so it didn't take much other than a weird strafe to miss a target, but with the updated perks Keep Away and Magnificent Howl both make solid options. Add in that Fatebringer is craftable and you're golden!" Recommended MW: Range.

Adamsdown_Boy written v8.2.0.2 (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for use against Minor add groups in both general at-level or better, and in end-game underleveled content. Fan favourite Fatebringer is still worth a look if you're looking for a strong kinetic slot primary which by default as a kinetic weapon, does ×1.1 damage against Minor adds. At base, the stats are good by comparison with its peers (particularly if you ignore the stat monster that is Midnight Coup) - 46 Range and 14 Zoom equates to 30.21m ADS and 20.14m hipfire, 57 Stability is ×1.1624 flinch resist at 100 Resilience, 55 Handling is 0.32s ready, 0.24s ADS and 0.35s stow speed, 46 Reload Speed is a 2.63s reload and Recoil Direction is 98. The barrel perk can be used to improve the Stability and Range, and Alloy Mag is the pick of the magazine perks, with an up to ×0.8 scalar to Reload Speed, but Tactical Mag and Flared Magwell are decent alternatives. The first trait perk column offers the option for double damage perks - Kinetic Tremors procs after 6 hits (5 when enhanced) for additional target and AoE damage or Explosive Payload adds damage (×1.1 to crit and ×1.15 to body) and flinch. Both pair well with Frenzy for an additional ×1.15 and maxed Handling and Reload Speed, or Firefly for a solar AoE detonation and +50 Reload Speed. The Timelost Magazine origin trait is very strong for PvE - essentially, the Thresh trait perk for free to build your super quickly on kills, and then providing a ×2 magazine size for 20s after your super finishes, refilling the mag from your reserves. Recommended MW: Range or Stability, with an Adept Backup Mag mod or, when fully enhanced, Synergy to create power orbs or, when the artifact mod's around, Stunloader. Also, don't forget to check whether there's a useful Seasonal Fragile mod for the activity you're running.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

What these Fatebringer (Timelost) perks do

Rewind Rounds

Upon emptying the Magazine: Refills 60% of the number of Hits landed (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Hits are counted from either your last reload or the last time the perk was triggered. Does not require Direct Hits. Requires firing 28.75% of the Magazine Capacity for the refill to activate. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Hits after triggering a refill do not count while the Rewind Rounds buff is active (1? second). Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifle behavior: • Each individual bolt in the burst counts as a Hit • Refill amount is uniquely 14% of the number of Hits rounded up (numbers are subject to change once we get more data points)

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Firefly

On Precision Kills: • Target explodes, dealing 104 [80] Solar damage in a 4 meter radius • Grants 50 Reload Speed for 6 seconds

Magnificent Howl

Scoring a Precision Kill grants 1 Stack of 'Precision Final Blows' up to the maximum of 10 Stacks. Reloading converts 'Precision Final Blows' Stacks into 'Magnificent Howl' Stacks. Having active 'Magnificent Howl' Stacks prevents you from gaining 'Precision Final Blows' Stacks. Each shot consumes 1 Stack of Magnificent Howl, granting 50% increased damage and ?% increased Damage Falloff Distance. Precision Kills with buffed shots refund a Stack of Magnificent Howl.

Kinetic Tremors

Scoring multiple Direct Hits against a target within 3 seconds of each emits 3 damaging shockwaves from its location at the time of activation. Hit counter persists through stow. Shockwaves appear 0.25 seconds after scoring enough Hits and have a 1 second delay between each pulse. With Bows, the initial delay is decreased to 0.167 seconds. Each shockwave deals up to 90 [20] damage in a 6 meter radius. Shockwaves deal 33.33% more damage when activated on Miniboss or higher tier PvE Combatants. Shockwaves inherit Weapon Damage Buffs, the weapon's passive Kinetic Damage Bonus in PVE (10% on Primary, 15% on Special), and its Combatant Damage Scaling. They also count as non-direct Hits with the weapon for other interactions. The perk cannot be retriggered by anyone on a target until 2? seconds after the last shockwave. Hits required for Activation: • Submachine Guns: 14 • Auto Rifles: 12 • Pulse Rifles: 11 • Sidearms: 8 • Precision Hand Cannons and Precision Scout Rifles: 6 • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles: 5 • Bows, Sniper Rifles: 3

Explosive Payload

Splits off 50% of the weapon's bodyshot damage into an Explosive Payload that detonates on impact. The Payload deals 30% increased damage in PvE and staggers PvE Combatants more. On Hand Cannons, the Payload deals 7% decreased damage in PvP. The remaining Impact damage portion receives an increased Crit Multiplier to compensate for the Payload not benefitting from crits. [PvE] Total damage is increased by 15% of the weapon's bodyshot damage. For crits, the overall increase is roughly equal to 15% divided by the Crit Multiplier. [PvP] Total damage remains roughly the same but can vary by 1-2% in either direction for crits.

Opening Shot

Grants the following benefits for your first shot (of the burst): • 20 Aim Assist and 25 Range • 5% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth Special weapons only receive 50% of the benefits. Stats are rounded up. Firing the weapon prevents the perk from activating for 3 seconds.

Eye of the Storm

Grants a scaling buff to Handling and Accuracy as your Shield Health drops below 40 and reaches maximum strength at 0 Shield HP. Buff at maximum strength grants: • 30 Handling • 40% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 17% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth The buff linearly scales from 0% at 80 Shield HP to 100% at 0 Shield HP (Critical Health). It initially triggers as you drop to 40 Shield HP — giving you 50% of the maximum buff. However, as you regenerate your Shield Health, the buff will still remain until you reach 80 Shield HP where the benefits scale down to zero.

Keep Away

While no enemies are within 15 meters: Grants 10 Range, 30 Reload Speed, and decreases Accuracy Cone Growth by 5?%.

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.

One for All

Scoring Weapon Hits against 3 Separate Enemies within 3 seconds of each grants 35% increased damage for 10 seconds. Does not require Direct Hits. Buff duration cannot be refreshed.
