pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB): "For PvE Surplus or Killing Wind will depend on your build. A higher ability build will appreciate Surplus, a more solo run-n-gun build will appreciate Killing Wind. You could definitely opt for some of the other perks here too as nothing really screams PvE."

pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): "For PvP I really value Rangefinder. It would give it the competitive edge over guns like Thorn or Ace and increase Hawkmoon’s already stellar consistency. If you don’t like the increased Zoom then something like Snapshot Sights really makes Hawkmoon feel snappy. You also can’t go wrong with Eye of the Storm, Opening Shot, or Killing Wind."

Six will one tap anyone not in a super, and five will two tap any resilience. Balance out boosts to Handling, Stability and Range using the barrel and Grip. What these Hawkmoon perks do

Opening Shot

Grants the following benefits for your first shot (of the burst): • 20 Aim Assist and 25 Range • 5% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth Special weapons only receive 50% of the benefits. Stats are rounded up. Firing the weapon prevents the perk from activating for 3 seconds.

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.

Rangefinder

Aiming Down Sights grants the following benefits: • 10 Range • 10% increased Effective Zoom • 5% increased Projectile Speed The Effective Zoom increase pushes out Aim Assist Falloff by 10%, reduces (Absolute) Recoil by 10% and narrows the Accuracy and Aim Assist Cones by the same amount. (This is the normal behavior of Zoom and isn't unique to Rangefinder)

Moving Target

Grants the following while Aiming Down Sights (ADS): • 10 Aim Assist • 10% decreased ADS Movement Speed Penalty

Eye of the Storm

Grants a scaling buff to Handling and Accuracy as your Shield Health drops below 40 and reaches maximum strength at 0 Shield HP. Buff at maximum strength grants: • 30 Handling • 40% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 17% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth The buff linearly scales from 0% at 80 Shield HP to 100% at 0 Shield HP (Critical Health). It initially triggers as you drop to 40 Shield HP — giving you 50% of the maximum buff. However, as you regenerate your Shield Health, the buff will still remain until you reach 80 Shield HP where the benefits scale down to zero.

Surplus

Grants Stat Bonuses depending on the number of Charged Abilities. Stat Bonuses with 1|2|3+ Charged Abilities: • 5|15|25 Stability • 5|25|60 Handling • 10|25|60 Reload Speed

Killing Wind

On Weapon Kill, for 5 seconds: • 50 Mobility • 40 Handling and 20 Range • 5% increased Damage Falloff Distance Additional Kills extend the duration by 5 seconds, up to 8 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Snapshot Sights

Passively decreases the ADS Animation Duration: • 50% decrease on Primary Weapons • 20% decrease on Special Weapons
