pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "I know this is probably going to be one of, if not, the first weapon most people want to craft this season. Feeding frenzy and voltshot are an incredible combo and you can choose exactly how you want to craft this weapon. More stability? Bigger magazine? More range? You get to decide what works and what doesn’t. Frenzy will scale up a bit better than voltshot for PvE, but voltshot will clear a room quicker." Recommended MW - Reload.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB): "In PvP the Ikelos SMG was gutted a bit. It lost some stats and was moved down a peg. But this version has access to rangefinder and killing wind which give it utility outside of neutral perks the previous version had. These extra perks will make it a monster. It won’t have the same lethality as Shayura’s Wrath or Tarrabah, but it will have some incredible consistency other aggressive frame SMGs don’t have." Recommended MW - Range.

Inspired by DMB PvE Podcast 44. First-choice PvE roll for general add clear. Shapeable. Voltshot SMG anyone? It's already an S-Tier stat monster, but is anyone actually reading past the word Voltshot? The Rasputin's Arsenal origin trait reloads on a shield break, which should save on a few reloads. Not having to worry about stability as much, you might as well push out the range as far as you can for M&KB, and then to help with Voltshot you want your reload to be as fast as possible - Tactical Mag and Flared Magwell both help out. To pair with Voltshot, forget Feeding Frenzy as it doesn't pair well so, instead, Threat Detector will speed up your reloads and boost your stability while you're in CQC or Perpetual Motion will do the same just for moving about a bit. Inspired by DMB PvE Podcast 44. First-choice PvE roll for end-game add clear. Shapeable. It's already an S-Tier stat monster and the Rasputin's Arsenal origin trait reloads on a shield break, which should save on a few reloads. Stability is the play for controller, to help keep your barrel pointed at what you're shooting at, Tactical Mag and Flared Magwell both help out with that, and reload speed too. If you're looking at end-game add-clearing, Threat Detector will speed up your reloads and boost your stability while you're in CQC or Perpetual Motion will do the same just for moving about a bit and Surrounded boosts damage by 36.5% and the enhanced version by 47%. But, even though this is a great roll, you'll still know in your heart that you really wanted Voltshot... What these IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.3 perks do

Seraph Rounds

Combines the overpenetration from Armor-Piercing Rounds, the guaranteed ricochets from Ricochet Rounds, and the flinch increase from High-Caliber Rounds.

Voltshot

Finishing a reload within 5.3 seconds of a Weapon Kill grants Voltshot for 7 seconds. While Voltshot is active, your next Weapon Hit consumes the buff and applies Jolt to the target. Applied Jolt's damage (generally) does not count as Weapon Damage.

Shoot to Loot

Weapon Hits against Orbs of Power collect them. If collecting ammo is possible: Weapon Hits against Ammo Bricks pick them up, trigger Ammo Pickup Effects, and refill all Weapons from reserves. Does not require direct hits.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Surrounded

Being within 15 meters of 3 Enemies grants 40% increased damage. Buff lingers for 1.5 seconds once the condition is no longer met. Exceptions: • Swords only receive a 35% damage increase. • Grenade and Rocket Launchers receive a 35% Explosive Damage increase and a 40% Impact Damage increase. • Wolfpack Rounds receive a 35% Explosive Damage increase.

Threat Detector

Grants 1|2 Stacks while within 15 meters of 1|2+ enemies. Bonuses at 1|2 Stacks: • 15|40 Stability • 18|60 Reload Speed • 25|100 Handling • 0.9x|0.81x Handling Animation Duration Multiplier

Feeding Frenzy

Weapon Kills grant 1 Stack of Feeding Frenzy for 3.5 seconds, increasing the Reload Speed of the weapon. Maximum of 5 Stacks. Bonuses at 1|2|3|4|5 Stacks: • 8|50|60|75|100 Reload Speed • 2.5%|10%|13%|16%|20% decreased Reload Animation Duration

Perpetual Motion

While moving at a minimum of 2 meters per second: Grants a Stack of 'Perpetual Motion' after 2 seconds and a second Stack after 10 seconds. Each Stack provides 10 Stability, 10 Handling, and 10 Reload Speed. All Stacks are removed if movement speed is below 2 m/s for 0.5 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed.

Killing Wind

On Weapon Kill, for 5 seconds: • 50 Mobility • 40 Handling and 20 Range • 5% increased Damage Falloff Distance Additional Kills extend the duration by 5 seconds, up to 8 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Rangefinder

Aiming Down Sights grants the following benefits: • 10 Range • 10% increased Effective Zoom • 5% increased Projectile Speed The Effective Zoom increase pushes out Aim Assist Falloff by 10%, reduces (Absolute) Recoil by 10% and narrows the Accuracy and Aim Assist Cones by the same amount. (This is the normal behavior of Zoom and isn't unique to Rangefinder)

Tap the Trigger

Firing grants 'Tap The Trigger' for 0.6 seconds, providing the following benefits: • 40 Stability • 50% decreased Recoil • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Size Fusion Rifles only receive 25% of the benefits. Buff cannot be refreshed until Automatic Weapons stop firing, or until the next burst. [Controller-Only] Weapon fires the instant trigger pressure is applied.
