Live Fire is a decent stasis scout rifle, if you're looking for one, offering better integration with the Stasis verb toolkit than previous versions. At base the stats are decent (except for maybe Reload Speed) - 45 Range equates to 74.61m while ADS and 37.31m hipfire, 46 Handling is 0.41s ready speed, 0.33s ADS speed and 0.39s stow speed, while the Reload Speed of 40 is a 2.18s reload. With this being a precision frame, you can pretty much ignore the recoil direction stat, and use the barrel perk to boost Handling. Look for Reload Speed-bosting mag perks, although Armor-Piercing Rounds is another utility option for your vault for when scout rifles have the seasonal artefact anti-barrier mod, for a ×1.05 damage boost to shields and barriers. For Stasis synergy, the combination of Rimestealer and Headstone gives you Stasis crystals on crit kills, and Frost Armor stacks when you shatter them for AoE damage, which you can use fragments to enhance further. The Field Forged origin trait does boost gunfeel stats very subtly but, if you can stay alive to keep collecting stacks, you will start feeling the benefit at higher tiers as you rack up hits and kills.
