Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 106 from 18 June 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/0GYlriUxhFqNHGLqb84C1G?si=bb5a2c9b339d4c35) with @ImpetusAlways, @CourtProjects and @Saint_Kabr. First-choice PvE pick for add-clearing in end-game content. Shapeable. Pro Memoria - which means "for memory" in Latin, and is also the name for a formal note embodying the written record of a diplomatic discussion - is the first in a new aggressive frame LMG subtype. It's described as "high damage", so should be good in a few different roles but with high recoil, look to the to provide help with control and a little extra handling. As the magazine perk, Ricichet Rounds helps a little more with recoil control, or you can use High-Caliber or Armor-Piercing Rounds for additional combat effects. As a "heavy scout rifle" for add clearing, it never hurts to have a bigger mag, so you can use Reconstruction or Envious Assassin in the first trait slot, and then Desperate Measures is easy to proc with Transcendent for up to +30% damage, you should be creating plenty of strand tangles to proc Collective Action's +20% damage, or Frenzy is a reliable +15% plus maxxed handling and reload speed. The Dealer's Choice origin trait is nice to have (who doesn't love more super energy?) - with two or three Pale Heart weapons, you'll notice the difference! Recommended MW: Handling or Stability, with a Backup Mag mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-MajorSpec, PvE-EndGame, PvE-God, M+KB, Controller

pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "A new frame approaches. Pro Memoria is an interesting weapon slotting next to Adaptive frames for the best add clear weapon, and Rapid-Fire frames for damage. Reconstruction or Envious Assassin are both great for using Pro Memoria as your main weapon. Coupled with Bait and Switch or Target Lock for damage. Frenzy and Hatchling are both great for neutral add clear potential." Recommended MW: Handling.

First-choice PvE pick for sustained DPS against Bosses in end-game content. Shapeable. Pro Memoria - which means "for memory" in Latin, and is also the name for a formal note embodying the written record of a diplomatic discussion - is the first in a new aggressive frame LMG subtype. It's described as "high damage", so should be good in a few different roles but with high recoil, look to the barrel perk to provide help with control and a little extra handling. As the magazine perk, for sustained boss damage, you'll want a perk that increases mag size or possibly helps a little more with recoil control. For sustained damage, in the first trait perk column, choose between Reconstruction for an effortless overflowed mag or Envious Assassin for a potentially bigger overflowed mag that needs add kills. In the second column, Target Lock or Bait and Switch (although the swap speed isn't great) make the most of your bullets in a sustained boss DPS phase. The Dealer's Choice origin trait is nice to have (who doesn't love more super energy?) - with two or three Pale Heart weapons, you'll notice the difference! What these Pro Memoria perks do

Reconstruction

Every 6 seconds while not firing the weapon: Loads 25% of the Magazine Capacity (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Can overfill the Magazine up to double the normal capacity. Works even while stowed.

Bait and Switch

Dealing damage with a weapon starts a 7 second timer. Dealing additional weapon damage resets the timer to 7 seconds. Dealing damage with all 3 of your weapons without letting the timer run out grants you 'Bait and Switch' for 10 seconds, granting 30% increased damage. Timer is disabled while Bait and Switch is active, requiring a full activation sequence once the buff expires.

Target Lock

Successive Hits within 0.2 seconds of each grant a ramping Damage Buff after scoring 12.5% of the Magazine Capacity as hits. Missing deactivates the buff. Stacks displayed on-screen are only visual aides, the buff ramps up with each shot once active. Reaches maximum strength at 5 Stacks. % of the Magazine Capacity as Hits required for each Visual Stack: 12.5%|35.5%|54.5%|74.5%|110.33% Damage Buff ramps up from 16.73% [10.46%] to 40% [25%] upon reaching maximum strength. Assuming no missed shots, it provides roughly a 25% [15.85%] Damage Buff on average after firing 100% of the Magazine Capacity.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Envious Assassin

Upon readying the weapon after scoring Kills with your other Weapons: Refills and/or overfills the Magazine from reserves based on the amount of Weapon Kills scored. Maximum total overfill amount is 200% of the Magazine Capacity. Each activation can only load up to 100% of the Magazine Capacity into the magazine. Loaded ammo per Kill by ammo type (rounds up): • Primary Weapons: 10% of Magazine Capacity • Special and Power Weapons: 20%

Hatchling

Scoring a Precision Kill or 3 kills within 3 seconds of each other spawns a Threadling at the target's location.

Armor-Piercing Rounds

Grants 5% increased damage against Elemental and Barrier Champion Shields. Allows bullets to overpenetrate enemies once.

Tap the Trigger

Firing grants 'Tap The Trigger' for 0.6 seconds, providing the following benefits: • 40 Stability • 50% decreased Recoil • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Size Fusion Rifles only receive 25% of the benefits. Buff cannot be refreshed until Automatic Weapons stop firing, or until the next burst. [Controller-Only] Weapon fires the instant trigger pressure is applied.

Dragonfly

Precision Kills cause targets to explode, dealing up to 123.89 [95.3] weapon-matching elemental damage in a 4.5-meter radius.

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Strategist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Class Ability Energy. Kills with Fusion Rifles, Glaives, Shotguns, and Sniper Rifles grant 20%. Class Ability usage grants ? Stability for ? seconds. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

High-Caliber Rounds

Hits inflict increased Flinch on Enemies. PVE: Tier 1-2 Minors can be repeatedly staggered. Higher Tier Combatants stagger quicker. PVP: Flinch against Players varies based on damage and Weapon Archetype. Flinch increase ranges between 5-10%.

Desperate Measures

Weapon Kills grant 'Desperate Measures x1' (DMx1), increasing damage by 10% for 7 seconds. Grenade or Melee Kills grant 20% increased damage for 7 seconds (DMx2). Scoring another Grenade or Melee Kill with DMx2 active increases this to 30% (DMx3). Can be activated while stowed. Weapon, Grenade, and Melee Kills refresh the buff duration.

Collective Action

Elemental Pickup Interactions grant 30% [10%] increased damage for a variable duration based on the pickup. Can be activated while stowed. Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, and Tangle Detonations grant the buff for 4 seconds. Throwing a held Tangle grants 4 additional seconds. Firesprites and Void Breaches grant the buff for 8 seconds. Additional Pickups can extend the duration up to the maximum of 16 seconds. Elemental Pickup Interactions: • Destroying a Tangle (or Elemental Orbs), either by shooting or throwing. • Collecting Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, or Void Breaches Does not trigger with Stasis Shards generated from Facet of Awakening or Facet of Command.
