Envious Assassin, Rewind Rounds, and Auto-Loading Holster all coupled with Bait and Switch, Firing Line or Reservoir Burst allows for the greatest flexibility in a linear fusion rifle to date. Scintillation (that is, the process of being sparkly) is the first Strand adaptive burst LFR. It's got decent stats and feels good to use, and the Veist Stinger, while not the powerhouse it once more, is still the best origin trait to have on an LFR. With this being a three shot burst, you'll improve control with Arrowhead Brake as the barrel perk. The best battery perk is Ionized Battery which, with a Backup Mag mod, is your only way to the maximum 7 shots but, if you get Accelerated Coils that also works to improve DPS rate at the cost of a small drop to total damage. In the first trait column, a reload or battery extending perk is a must-have for a sustained damage roll. In the second, if you don't already have the niche roll that works on a boss when enemies are near (think the Ir Yût encounter in Crota's end), Surrounded adds +40% damage (+47% when enhanced). Recommended MW: Handling or Charge Time, with a Backup Mag mod.

What these Scintillation perks do

Accelerated Coils

Decreases charge time by 40ms and damage by 2%.

Envious Assassin

Upon readying the weapon after scoring Kills with your other Weapons: Refills and/or overfills the Magazine from reserves based on the amount of Weapon Kills scored. Maximum total overfill amount is 200% of the Magazine Capacity. Each activation can only load up to 100% of the Magazine Capacity into the magazine. Loaded ammo per Kill by ammo type (rounds up): • Primary Weapons: 10% of Magazine Capacity • Special and Power Weapons: 20%

Bait and Switch

Dealing damage with a weapon starts a 7 second timer. Dealing additional weapon damage resets the timer to 7 seconds. Dealing damage with all 3 of your weapons without letting the timer run out grants you 'Bait and Switch' for 10 seconds, granting 30% increased damage. Timer is disabled while Bait and Switch is active, requiring a full activation sequence once the buff expires.

Firing Line

Being within 15 meters of 2 allies grants 20% increased Precision Damage.

Reservoir Burst

Passively grants 30 Magazine Size stat. (Identical to a Backup Mag mod) While Magazine is at or above maximum capacity: Grants 30% increased damage and causes enemies to explode on death, dealing 162.5 damage in a ? meter radius. Explosions inherit the weapon's element and Combatant Damage Scaling. Explosions triggered with Linear Fusion Rifle kills deal an additional 30% increased damage.

Rewind Rounds

Upon emptying the Magazine: Refills 60% of the number of Hits landed (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Hits are counted from either your last reload or the last time the perk was triggered. Does not require Direct Hits. Requires firing 28.75% of the Magazine Capacity for the refill to activate. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Hits after triggering a refill do not count while the Rewind Rounds buff is active (1? second). Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifle behavior: • Each individual bolt in the burst counts as a Hit • Refill amount is uniquely 14% of the number of Hits rounded up (numbers are subject to change once we get more data points)

Auto-Loading Holster

Refills stowed weapon from reserves after 3.5 seconds of it being stowed.

Rapid Hit

"Buffed Hits" grant 1 Stack of Rapid Hit for 2 seconds. Maximum of 5 Stacks. "Buffed Hits" refer to any "Yellow Number" Hits such as Precision Hits or Hits against debuffed targets. Scoring a Precision Kill or 3 kills within 3 seconds of each other spawns a Threadling at the target's location.

Being within 15 meters of 3 Enemies grants 40% increased damage. Buff lingers for 1.5 seconds once the condition is no longer met. Exceptions: • Swords only receive a 35% damage increase. • Grenade and Rocket Launchers receive a 35% Explosive Damage increase and a 40% Impact Damage increase. • Wolfpack Rounds receive a 35% Explosive Damage increase.
