Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 101 from 17 April 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/1CJQuqM89I7hWA9KYvjCop?si=arncPmZ1SseRp6Atuf1ilw) with @ImpetusAlways and @CourtProjects. First-choice PvE pick for Minor Spec add clearing in end-game content. If you find a roll you like, keep for the ability to enhance perks when Final Shape arrives. The Prophet is the first stasis aggressive frame scout rifle and while it has good stats it's not a very competitive subtype for PvE unfortunately. It's got a bit of a kick so, even on M+KB you might benefit from boosted stability with the barrel and mag perks. The trait perks are a bit underwhelming too - Rapid Hit is probably best in the first column, with Demolitionist and possibly Keep Away also useful for the reload boost. In the second column, Explosive Payload is, again, probably best or Precision Instrument can be okay if you're hitting your headshots. Of the origin traits, Alacrity is best if you're running solo, in endgame activities to help clutch when everyone else is dead, or One Quiet Moment can be useful when in cover. Keep Away will benefit your accuracy and reload speed which will help alleviate the necessity of reloader gauntlets. Do I recommend foregoing it entirely? No but you can stack enough reload through your masterwork, Keep Away, and Tactical Mag or Flared Magwell to not need it. Precision Instrument will be great as the reload will allow you to keep up high stacks. Headstone works will being a scout and a high-damage frame." Recommended MW: Reload Speed.

What these The Prophet perks do

Rapid Hit

"Buffed Hits" grant 1 Stack of Rapid Hit for 2 seconds. Maximum of 5 Stacks. "Buffed Hits" refer to any "Yellow Number" Hits such as Precision Hits or Hits against debuffed targets. Benefits at 1|2|3|4|5 Stacks: • 2|12|14|18|25 Stability • 5|30|35|42|60 Reload Speed • 0.99x|0.96x|0.95x|0.945x|0.92x Reload Duration Multiplier

Explosive Payload

Splits off 50% of the weapon's bodyshot damage into an Explosive Payload that detonates on impact. The Payload deals 30% increased damage in PvE and staggers PvE Combatants more. On Hand Cannons, the Payload deals 7% decreased damage in PvP. The remaining Impact damage portion receives an increased Crit Multiplier to compensate for the Payload not benefitting from crits. [PvE] Total damage is increased by 15% of the weapon's bodyshot damage. For crits, the overall increase is roughly equal to 15% divided by the Crit Multiplier. [PvP] Total damage remains roughly the same but can vary by 1-2% in either direction for crits.

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Keep Away

While no enemies are within 15 meters: Grants 10 Range, 30 Reload Speed, and decreases Accuracy Cone Growth by 5?%.

Precision Instrument

Direct Weapon Hits grant a stack of Precision Instrument for 1.25 seconds (2.1 seconds on weapons with a Draw/Charge Time). Maximum of 6 stacks. Reloading the weapon (except on Bows) or missing removes all stacks... usually. Heavy Burst Frame weapons can only gain 1 stack per burst. Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifles require 1.5? Hits for each stack (and missing sometimes does not remove your stacks on them). Precision damage increase at 1|2|... stacks: 4.17% | 8.33% | 12.5% | 16.67% | 20.83% | 25%

Headstone

Precision Kills create a Large Stasis Crystal at the target's location. Tier 1-2 Minor and Tier 1 Elite Combatants only spawn a Medium Stasis Crystal. Creating 5 Crystals within ? seconds prevents the perk from activating for 5 seconds.

Outlaw

Precision Kills grant 70 Reload Speed with a 0.9x decreased Reload Animation Duration for 6 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Kill Clip

Finishing a reload within 3.6 seconds of a kill grants 25% increased damage for 5 seconds. Stowing the weapon removes the buff. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Offhand Strike

Weapon Kills grant the following benefits to hip-firing for 7 seconds: • 30 Stability • 45% increased Damage Falloff Distance • ~3° larger Precision Aim Angle • 95%? decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 95%? decreased Accuracy Cone Growth. Buff is removed on stow.

Hip-Fire Grip

Grants the following benefits while hipfiring: • 25 Stability and 15 Aim Assist • 2.7° larger Precision Aim Cone Angle • 30% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 20% increased Aim Assist Falloff Distance • 20% increased Damage Falloff Distance The Damage Falloff increase does not apply to The Last Word, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, and Fusion Rifles. PvP-specific note: the Precision Aim Cone Angle increase essentially just allows you to hit Crits while aimed above or slightly to the side of the head. (This is already the default behavior of Submachine Guns, Sidearms, Bows, Machine Guns, and Linear Fusion Rifles so it does not affect them)
