pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "While certainly not my favorite scout rifle, Unworthy doesn't make that much of a splash. Unworthy does have Firefly in the first column allowing for some extra damage when paired with Frenzy or Paracausal Affinity. Precision Instrument is just the tried and true scout perk." Recommended MW: Handling.

pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): "Rapid Fire Frame scout rifles in PvP really need one of two perks, arguably together in order to feel phenomenal. Firmly Planted or Kill Clip. Unworthy has neither. Rapid Hit and Precision Instrument are fine but pale in comparison. Firefly will be nice for some AoE and Zen Moment is in the wrong column unless paired with Firefly." Recommended MW: Stability.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 131 from 25 February 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/0ylHiOQP4ev7qlUTWnXzvD?si=gEk_UXaITayODh1wH2j0SA) with @CourtProjects, @Saint_Kabr and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for use against Minor adds in both general at-level or better, and in end-game underleveled content. Unloved is probably the best-in-kinetic-slot hand cannon as at the time of writing - not only is it the best DPS subfamily, being a heavy-burst frame, but the Subjugation origin trait is essentially a free extra damage perk. At base, the stats are good by comparison with its peers - 65 Range and 14 Zoom equates to 32.78m ADS and 21.85m hipfire, 25 Stability is ×1.1084 flinch resist at 100 Resilience, 25 Handling is 0.40s ready, 0.29s ADS and 0.44s stow speed, 30 Reload Speed is a 2.94s reload (1.82s with the Rapid Fire frame intrinsic when reloading from an empty magazine) and Recoil Direction is 85. The barrel perk can be used to improve the Handling, and the magazine perk can be used to help with Reload Speed or perhaps gain a few extra bullets. The first trait perk column offers the option for double damage perks - either Dragonfly for a Stasis AoE detonation on crit kills, or Hatchling to spawn a Threadling on crit kills or three rapid kills. In the second column, Frenzy provides ×1.15 damage, and maxes out Handling and Reload Speed just for being in combat or, Paracausal Affinity offers a ×1.2 damage boost for 6s for a Strand or Stasis final blow from any source. The Subjugator origin trait is, frankly, nuts - against Minors and Majors it's an extra explosive rounds-style damage boosting perk that also adds flinch, while against Bosses it procs Exhaustion to reduce their outgoing damage by ×0.9. Recommended MW: Handling or Reload Speed, with a Backup Mag mod or, when masterworked, Synergy to create Strand Tangles or, when the artifact mod's around, Stunloader. Also, don't forget to check whether there's a useful Seasonal Fragile mod for the activity you're running.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

What these Unworthy perks do

Rapid Hit

"Buffed Hits" grant 1 Stack of Rapid Hit for 2 seconds. Maximum of 5 Stacks. "Buffed Hits" refer to any "Yellow Number" Hits such as Precision Hits or Hits against debuffed targets. Benefits at 1|2|3|4|5 Stacks: • 2|12|14|18|25 Stability • 5|30|35|42|60 Reload Speed • 0.99x|0.96x|0.95x|0.945x|0.92x Reload Duration Multiplier

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Paracausal Affinity

Scoring a Kill from any source matching the elemental alignment of the weapon grants 20% increased damage for 6 seconds. Buff can activate while stowed. Light Alignment: Arc, Solar, Void Darkness Alignment: Stasis, Strand

Precision Instrument

Direct Weapon Hits grant a stack of Precision Instrument for 1.25 seconds (2.1 seconds on weapons with a Draw/Charge Time). Maximum of 6 stacks. Reloading the weapon (except on Bows) or missing removes all stacks... usually. Heavy Burst Frame weapons can only gain 1 stack per burst. Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifles require 1.5? Hits for each stack (and missing sometimes does not remove your stacks on them). Precision damage increase at 1|2|... stacks: 4.17% | 8.33% | 12.5% | 16.67% | 20.83% | 25%

Firefly

On Precision Kills: • Target explodes, dealing 104 [80] Solar damage in a 4 meter radius • Grants 50 Reload Speed for 6 seconds

Rewind Rounds

Upon emptying the Magazine: Refills 60% of the number of Hits landed (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Hits are counted from either your last reload or the last time the perk was triggered. Does not require Direct Hits. Requires firing 28.75% of the Magazine Capacity for the refill to activate. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Hits after triggering a refill do not count while the Rewind Rounds buff is active (1? second). Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifle behavior: • Each individual bolt in the burst counts as a Hit • Refill amount is uniquely 14% of the number of Hits rounded up (numbers are subject to change once we get more data points)

Armor-Piercing Rounds

Grants 5% increased damage against Elemental and Barrier Champion Shields. Allows bullets to overpenetrate enemies once.

Zen Moment

Weapon Hits grant 1 Stack of the perk for 1 second up to the maximum of 5? Stacks. Benefits granted per Stack: • Grants ?% Flinch Resistance • Reduces Visual Weapon Shake by 15% • Reduces Reticle Bounce by 15% Stacks gained per Weapon Hit by weapon type: • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles: 2? • Pulse Rifles, Sidearms: 1.5 • Other Weapons: 1

Keep Away

While no enemies are within 15 meters: Grants 10 Range, 30 Reload Speed, and decreases Accuracy Cone Growth by 5?%.

High-Caliber Rounds

Hits inflict increased Flinch on Enemies. PVE: Tier 1-2 Minors can be repeatedly staggered. Higher Tier Combatants stagger quicker. PVP: Flinch against Players varies based on damage and Weapon Archetype. Flinch increase ranges between 5-10%.

Voltshot

Finishing a reload within 5.3 seconds of a Weapon Kill grants Voltshot for 7 seconds. While Voltshot is active, your next Weapon Hit consumes the buff and applies Jolt to the target. Applied Jolt's damage (generally) does not count as Weapon Damage.

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.
