pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "When I heard that Vision of Confluence was getting a refresh I was hoping it would get something unique like Doom of Chelchis and it does! Incandescent and Firefly together for double booms. You also get Heal Clip, in the same column as Incandescent (boo) but that means you can pair it with Frenzy for even faster reloads. I was pleasantly surprised by this one particular refresh." Recommended MW: Handling.

pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): "When talking or taking Vision of Confluence into PvP you really have limited options. You have a pretty slow 1.00s TtK with 3c1b on all but T0 resilience. Zen Moment will help you keep your bullets where they need to go and Explosive Payload will make it harder for your enemies to fight back. Kill Clip allows you to drop a shot and go for 3c on all resiliences except T5 and below instead going for 2c1b. Definitely easier for kill chaining." Recommended MW: Stability.

Adamsdown_Boy written v8.2.0.2
9 wishlist rolls
Adamsdown_Boy written v8.2.0.2 (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for use against Minor adds in both general at-level or better, and in end-game underleveled content. Unfortunately, while Vision of Confluence is a solid scout rifle, it's in the subfamily with the lowest damage output and there are other options which offer much the same set of perks. At base, the stats are decent by comparison with its peers - 46 Range and 20 Zoom equates to 74.93m ADS and 37.46m hipfire, 42 Stability is ×1.1495 flinch resist at 100 Resilience, 45 Handling is 0.41s ready, 0.34s ADS and 0.39s stow speed, 47 Reload Speed is a 2.04s reload and Recoil Direction is 75 (but with the Precision frame intrinsic, you can pretty much ignore the RD stat). The barrel perk can be used to improve the Handling, and the magazine perk can be used to help out a little with Reload Speed and Stability. If you don't already have one, the trait perk combination of Demolitionist and Desperate Measures work together well to provide grenade energy to keep the up to ×1.3 damage boost running. The Timelost Magazine origin trait is very strong for PvE - essentially, the Thresh trait perk for free to build your super quickly on kills, and then providing a ×2 magazine size for 20s after your super finishes, refilling the mag from your reserves. Recommended MW: Handling, with a Backup Mag mod or, when fully enhanced, Synergy to create Firesprites or, when the artifact mod's around, Stunloader. Also, don't forget to check whether there's a useful Seasonal Fragile mod for the activity you're running.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

The barrel perk can be used to improve the Handling, and the magazine perk can be used to help out a little with Reload Speed and Stability. The first trait perk column offers the option for double damage perks - this is the only primary that can roll with Incandescent, with kills spreading scorch and AoE damage. Any ignition kills will proc Paracausal Affinity's ×1.2 damage boost, making this a natural pairing, but Frenzy for ×1.15 damage and maxxed Handling and Reload Speed, or Explosive Payload for ×1.1 crit and ×1.15 bodyshot damage and Firefly for a solar AoE detonation and +50 Reload Speed will also help spread scorch damage over a wider area, to help even more with add clearing. The Timelost Magazine origin trait is very strong for PvE - essentially, the Thresh trait perk for free to build your super quickly on kills, and then providing a ×2 magazine size for 20s after your super finishes, refilling the mag from your reserves.
