Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 91 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/50NPk7xF3Tt6X3DVucE9jU?si=44d2b7d44a5a4aec) with @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways. First-choice PvE pick for add-clear of bulkier Minor, and Major Spec enemies in end-game content. Only the second Aggressive Glaive subtype so there's not much of a comparison to make, but Albedo Wing seems to have decent stats. The range is good, so you can focus on the shield duration stat with the haft perk for major damage reduction in PvE. Although the reload speed is also poor, we can bypass that with traits, so Appended Mag ups mag size by one. In the first trait column, Grave Robber procs on glaive melees, or Field prep boosts reserves, and reload speed when crouched, and Close to Melee in the second boosts melee damage by 30% for a projectile hit. The Dawning Surprise origin trait is very useful in PvE - when the behind the scenes counter hits 100, the surprise is spawned on the ground for 10s and grants 10% energy to all abilities, grants 20HP and starts shield/health regeneration. Recommended MW: Shield Duraction, with a damage boosting (Minor, Major or Taken Spec) mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-Boss, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-MajorSpec, PvE-EndGame, PvE-God, M+KB, Controller

First-choice PvE pick for burst damage against Major Spec enemies in end-game content with an arc subclass. Only the second Aggressive Glaive subtype so there's not much of a comparison to make, but Albedo Wing seems to have decent stats. The range is good, so you can focus on the shield duration stat with the haft perk for major damage reduction in PvE. The reload speed is poor, and Light Mag is the only perk that helps. In the first trait column, Clown Cartridge can overflow the magazine on reload to 5 or 6, and there are plenty of arc grenades (the glaive melee doesn't count unfortunately), to proc the second stack of Golden Tricorn with for a 50% damage boost for 10s. The Dawning Surprise origin trait is very useful in PvE - when the behind the scenes counter hits 100, the surprise is spawned on the ground for 10s and grants 10% energy to all abilities, grants 20HP and starts shield/health regeneration. Panda (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "I don't know how often this glaive will be used over the crafted gloves but there's a nice niche between Beacon Rounds and Close to Melee. If you get any glaive kill you'll activate Beacon Rounds, with the added tracking you can shoot off in the general direction of a thrall and with that kill you'll activate Close to Melee to deal an extra 30% more melee damage. Any additional damage with your melee or projectile you'll keep up Beacon Rounds and Close to Melee to continue the chaining of better tracking and better damage." Recommended MW: Range.

Panda (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "With Auxiliary Reserves you get some great shield duration. With Light Mag and Keep Away you negate the reload speed loss from Auxiliary Reserves. All the range gives you a velocity of 130 m/s which is 1.11x times faster than the base 117 m/s. This extra speed will make the hit registration feel better. If you can manage to get Golden Tricorn 2x with one surge mod you can one hit kill any guardian 6 resilience or below. As you add one surge mod you can down an additional resilience tier. It scales 1:1." Recommended MW: Range.

Stallion (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Okay here's my thought process.. This weapon needs to be really unique to justify using over a crafted Glaive. What makes it unique is Beacon Rounds. Beacon Rounds are an ease of use perk, they're built to make you miss less shots without slowing down combat by aiming (gross, all my homies hate aiming). So my plan is to make myself a one man phalanx, storming forward with homing shots that aim themselves. Demolitionist to help me panic reload, plus just keeping my grenade energy up, and more shield duration to aid in the goal of becoming phalanx. Also, Honourable mention to Golden Tricorn potentially being very fun to mess around with." Recommended MW: Shield Duration.

Stallion (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Okay so.. Glaives in PvP. Not my favourite thing. But here's what I'm thinking: Max Range for max projectile speed, bonus handling to make it less hefty to switch to, Beacon Rounds because auto-aim potentially gooder, demo simply because there's nothing else I feel is worth using in that slot. High Impact Reserves is only a 6% damage boost, Golden Tricorn might be tricky to keep active in PvP, Lead From Gold serves no purpose in PvP.. It's just tricky. I'm sorry I can't provide more, I'm really not a glaive in PvP kinda fella." Recommended MW: Handling.
