pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "I am sure by now most players have a good rapid-fire machine gun in their arsenal. Whether that's Retrofit Escapade, Planck's Stride, Recurrent Impact, Shattered Cipher, or reaching all the way back even a Thermal Erosion. That being said, the only direct competition Eleatic Principle has is with Planck's Stride, which I think Eleatic Principle blows Planck's out of the water. Eleatic has access to Golden Tricorn which is the best damage perk in the game, or if you prefer not to use an arc subclass you could go with Target Lock for a slightly different Retrofit. You won't have access to a reload or mag extending perk but you can make the shots easier to land with Zen Moment, Well Rounded, or after some kills even Heating Up." Recommended MW: Stability.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB): "Eleatic Principle will live and die by the PvE metascene, so there isn't much hope for it in PvP. Moving Target or Zen Moment paired with Tap the Trigger will allow you to stay on target a bit with the 900 RPM, and if you're a good shot you could take advantage of Target Lock for a slight edge." Recommended MW: Handling.

Adamsdown_Boy - information as at v8.0.0.6 PvE / PvE-Boss / PvE-BossSpec / PvE-EndGame / PvE-God / M+KB / Controller): PvE pick for killing boss-tier Subjugators. As per @mossy_max (https://x.com/mossy_max/status/1804893174965338387) - boss-tier Subjugators have a 20% damage reduction to all non-matching damage, going up to 30% DR to all damage after they "screech", which counts as a shield in-game and reacts to shield-based trait perks. Eleatic Principle is a shapeable LMG from Witch Queen, but although you can craft it to your liking, it's not the strongest LMG to use for this use case being shorter ranged and more difficult to control than adaptives. First, Arrowhead Brake to help with recoil (if you just drop one, Chambered Compensator or Polygonal Rifling will also to help land consistent crits). Then Extended Mag with a Backup Mag mod gets you to 115 shots in the mag or again, if you drop one, Appended Mag with Backup Mag gets you to 110. In the first trait perk column, there isn't a huge choice - Ensemble boosts reload speed in a fireteam, or Eddy Current is the best on offer if you're solo. In the second, Adaptive Munitions buffs damage to non-matching Subjugator "shields" for a total damage boost of around +45% after 15 hits (+73% when enhanced). The Head Rush origin trait mostly pointless - unless you make of habit of crouching and then standing up to shoot. Recommended MW: Stability, with a Backup Mag mod

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 76 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/4UoXFYD3DbunDEKIGDiriX?si=1957400d9e024ed5) with @Saint_Kabr and @ImpetusAlways. Backup PvE pick for Minor Spec add-clear in general content. Shapeable. The Eleatic Principle, is a philosophical argument that only items which have the capacity to affect or be affected are. Make of that what you will... Unfortunately, this is not the arc rapid-fire LMG you are looking for. If you really don't have a better arc option, then tidy up the recoil direction - you're putting out a lot of bullets - with Arrowhead Brake in the barrel, and High-Caliber, Ricochet or Armor-Piercing Rounds as the magazine perk. There's really nothing to get excited about with the traits - Ensemble in a fireteam, or Eddy Current if not, in the first trait column as the support perk, and then for bonus damage, Golden Tricorn or Adrenaline Junkie in the second trait slot as the signature perk. Whether you find the Head Rush origin trait useful will depend on how often you crouch and get up again - if you do, the additional handling and reload speed is useful, if not game-changing. Recommended MW: Reload Speed, with a damage-boosting (Minor or Taken Spec) mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, M+KB, Controller
