pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "While I, personally, am glad Forbearance is easier to get, I also understand why there's community hesitation against it. If you already have a Forbearance crafted or Adept, you definitely do not need to grind out the new version other than for progress towards Superblack. If you are like me and don't have Forbearance, you're just gonna grab the already tried and true roll of Ambitious Assassin and Chain Reaction. Unrelenting in column 3 is arguably better than Ambitious Assassin as it only takes 3 kills to activate and should work with Chain Reaction. If you're using the new Forbearance on a grenade heavy build this version could be better with the origin trait giving 5% grenade charge back." Recommended MW: Velocity.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Hitting 3 targets in PvE is certainly easier than hitting multiple targets in PvP. If you can make Stats for All work in PvP I will be impressed. A better perk would be Demolitionist for a total of 15% ability energy back on kills (10% paired with 5% from the origin trait), or Disruption Break to give your kinetic weapons a nice 50% damage boost. There isn't a lot to be said in column 4 for PvP as most Disruption Break grenade launchers are paired with Auto-Loading Holster in the third column. Wellspring could pair well with Demolitionist for even more ability energy, or Desperate Measures for a damage bonus without needing a weapon kill to start." Recommended MW: Velocity.

First-choice PvE pick for add-clearing Minor Spec enemies in end-game content. If you find a roll you like, keep for the ability to enhance perks when Final Shape arrives. If you already have a shaped Forbearance from Vow of the Disciple, you can move along. If not, it's the current best-in-subfamily for stats. As with most wave-frames, you're looking for a barrel perk that boosts handling and velocity, with High-Velocity Rounds in the magazine. With one eye on the upcoming nerf to Chain Reaction, you might want to pair one of the useful first column support traits - Ambitious Assassine, Unrelenting or Demolitionist - with One for All in the second column for a damage boost to help clear groups of adds. The Indomitability origin trait seems built for the Prismatic subclass, generating grenade or melee energy according to your subclass type. The most popular roll of a barrel perk that boosts handling and velocity, with High-Velocity Rounds in the magazine paired with Ambitious Assassin and Chain Reaction has been the add-clearing wave-frame of choice for the last few seasons, and should still be good even after the planned CR nerf. First-choice PvE pick for add-clearing Minor Spec enemies in end-game content, particularly with an arc subclass. If you find a roll you like, keep for the ability to enhance perks when Final Shape arrives. For CQC survivability, For the traits, Demolitionist and Wellspring together with the Indomitability origin trait all work together to generate grenade energy, but particularly with an arc subclass, so you can Jolt targets with a grenade, start collecting Ionic Traces to become amplified and then blind crowds, using a combination of Sparks of Shock, Ions/Discharge and Beacons. What these Forbearance perks do

Ambitious Assassin

Reloading after scoring Kills with the weapon overfills the magazine from reserves based on the number of Kills scored. Overfill amount maxes out at 150% of the Magazine Capacity. Always rounds up. Kill counter persists through stow. Overfill amount per Kill scored: • Primary Weapons: 20% • Special and Power Weapons: 10%

Chain Reaction

Weapon Kills trigger an elemental explosion matching the weapon's element. Damage and radius of the explosions varies based on the weapon's ammo type: • Special Weapons: Up to 67.2 [44.8] damage in a 2.4 meter radius • Power Weapons: Up to 109.2 [72.8] damage in a 3 meter radius

Unrelenting

Starts Health Regeneration and restores 65 HP upon reaching 100% Activation Progress with Weapon Kills within 5 seconds of each. Activation Progress by Enemy Rank: • Minor Combatants: 34% • Players: 67% • Elites, Minibosses, and Bosses: 100%

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Wellspring

On Weapon Kill: Grants 8% Ability Energy split equally amongst all uncharged abilities. Abilities with multiple charges only receive one third of the ability energy normally split to them once they have a full ability charge ready. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

One for All

Scoring Weapon Hits against 3 Separate Enemies within 3 seconds of each grants 35% increased damage for 10 seconds. Does not require Direct Hits. Buff duration cannot be refreshed.

Desperate Measures

Weapon Kills grant 'Desperate Measures x1' (DMx1), increasing damage by 10% for 7 seconds. Grenade or Melee Kills grant 20% increased damage for 7 seconds (DMx2). Scoring another Grenade or Melee Kill with DMx2 active increases this to 30% (DMx3). Can be activated while stowed. Weapon, Grenade, and Melee Kills refresh the buff duration.

Bait and Switch

Dealing damage with a weapon starts a 7 second timer. Dealing additional weapon damage resets the timer to 7 seconds. Dealing damage with all 3 of your weapons without letting the timer run out grants you 'Bait and Switch' for 10 seconds, granting 30% increased damage. Timer is disabled while Bait and Switch is active, requiring a full activation sequence once the buff expires.

Disruption Break

On Elemental, Barrier or Guardian Shield Break: Applies Kinetic Damage Vulnerability to the enemy, increasing Kinetic damage taken by 50% for 5.5 [5] seconds. Stacks with all other Buffs and Debuffs (including itself).
