SpaceMonkey (PvE): "Micro-missile breech GLs are pretty much exclusive to movement tech these days, so I'm not going to get into any kind of add clear roll here until I see something that makes me think it'll be worth it. The recommendations are going to be for vertical movement tech. And then separately for DPS in case it winds up being worth it for swap." Recommended MW: Handling, Reload.

Inspired by @Saint_Kabr and @CourtProjects (PvE PvE-Boss PvE-BossSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for sustained damage against bosses in both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content, particularly as part of a boss damage weapon rotation. Gizmo Weft is a micro-missile frame GL which are rated B-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic as they've been power crept by other special weapons, but are still useful for movement. The stats are good by comparison with its one other peer - see https://d2foundry.gg/w/1572604081 for how the weapon stats impact in-game performance. Looks for a barrel perk that helps Handling and Velocity. Try not to hurt the Blast Radius, as that affects the width and height of the wave. For the magazine perk either Implosion Rounds or Spike Grenades will boost damage a little or alternatively High-Velocity Rounds is still decent. For a sustained boss damage roll as part of a weapon rotation, Envious Arsenal in the first trait perk column refills the magazine from reserves on dealing damage with both of your other weapons. For damage, Bait and Switch boosts damage by ×1.3 for 10s (11s when enhanced) on the same condition to proc. Other good options are Elemental Honing which grants an escalating stack of damage up to ×1.35 for 20s (23s enhanced) for each elemental damage type inflicted, which can be refreshed with a new damage type until you've run through all 5, Aggregate Charge to provide a stack for each different elemental debuff up to ×3 stacks to boost damage by up to ×1.3 (×1.33 enhanced), with each stack lasting as long as the debuff is active, or Bipod to trade having two rockets in the chamber for burst damage for -20 to Blast Radius and Reload Speed (-15 to Reload Speed enhanced) and a reduction by ×0.75 damage. For the Origin Trait, you earn a stack of Contending Cascade after kills within 4s from any source - achieving 15 stacks (12 enhanced) grants Crowning Cascade to boost Handling and Reload Speed, and an elemental explosion on kills until you die. If you're facing vehicles and constructs in an activity, there's also Häkke Breach Armaments for passive boosts to damage. If you're interested, "Gizmo" is a gadget that you can't remember the name of and "Weft" is a term in weaving for the crosswise threads that are passed over and under warp threads to make cloth, so maybe a reference to Strand? Recommended MW: Handling, with your preferred choice of mod/enhanced mod to boost mag size, weapon stats, ammo regeneration, or elemental pickups for builds - and don't forget to check any available seasonal fragile mods.|tags:PvE PvE-Boss PvE-BossSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

Essential perks

Elemental Honing Air Trigger High-Velocity Rounds Quick Launch

What these Gizmo Weft perks do

Bait and Switch

Dealing damage with a weapon starts a 7 second timer. Dealing additional weapon damage resets the timer to 7 seconds. Dealing damage with all 3 of your weapons without letting the timer run out grants you 'Bait and Switch' for 10 seconds, granting 30% increased damage. Timer is disabled while Bait and Switch is active, requiring a full activation sequence once the buff expires.

Envious Arsenal

Dealing any damage with both of your other weapons refills the magazine from reserves upon readying the weapon.

Elemental Honing

Dealing Elemental Damage grants a stack of Elemental Honing for 20 seconds for each unique Element used. Maximum of 5 stacks. Gaining a stack refreshes the buff duration. Duration cannot be refreshed once at 5 stacks. Buff can be activated while stowed. Kinetic Damage does not trigger the buff. Weapon damage increase at 1|2|3|4|5 stacks by weapon damage type: • Kinetic: 10%|20%|30%|35%|40% • Elemental (PVE): 2.5%|10%|20%|30%|35% • Elemental (PVP): 1.25%|5%|20%|30%|35%

Aggregate Charge

Damage against Elemental-Debuffed Targets is increased per unique debuff applied to the target. Damage increased is 10%|20%|30% at 1|2|3 Debuffs.

Bipod

Increases Magazine Capacity by 1 and Total Reserve Size by 5. Decreases Firing Delay by 25%. Decreases Blast Radius by 30, Reload Speed by 20, and damage by 25% (also applies to Wolfpack Rounds and Cluster Bombs).

Spike Grenades

Increases Grenade Impact damage: • 12.12% increase on Special Grenade Launchers • 12.5% increase on Power Grenade Launchers Due to the ratio of Detonation and Impact damage being tied to the Blast Radius stat on Grenade Launchers, a lower stat will provide a slightly higher overall damage increase.

Slideshot

Sliding refills 15% of the Magazine (rounded up) and grants 20 Range and Stability for your next shot (of the burst) within 2.5 seconds. 0.3 second cooldown after activation but can activate multiple times during a slide. Buff is removed on stow.

Air Trigger

Passively grants 20 Ammo Generation Stat. (Equivalent of 1 Ammo Generation Armor Mod) Being Airborne grants the following benefits: • 30 Reload Speed • 0.8x Reload Duration Multiplier • 15?% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 20?% decreased Auto Aim Cone Size

Slice

Using your Class Ability (even while the weapon is stowed) grants you 'Slice' for 8 seconds. While 'Slice' is active, damaging non-Severed targets Severs them, grants a stack of Slice, and refreshes the buff duration. (Hitting immune targets also triggers this.) Reaching 5 stacks immediately removes the buff. If the Severing hit kills the target, the perk will not trigger and you will not gain a stack.

Blast Distributor

Dealing Explosive Weapon damage grants a stack of 'Blast Distributor' for 5 seconds. Maximum of 5 stacks. 'Blast Distributor' grants 10 Grenade Stat per stack.

Sticky Grenades

Grenades stick to impacted surfaces for up to ? seconds and detonate once an enemy gets within ? meters. Increases Detonation damage by 30% and decreases Impact damage by 85%. Due to the ratio of Detonation and Impact damage being tied to the Blast Radius stat on Grenade Launchers, a higher stat will be more beneficial: • 20 Blast Radius: 6% decreased total damage • 48 Blast Radius: unchanged total damage • 100 Blast Radius: 11% increased total damage
