Inspired by @Saint_Kabr and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-Minor PvE-GroupAdd PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for clearing add groups in activities rated Normal difficulty, particularly with Arc subclasses. The reprised Infinite Paths 8 is a Lightweight pulse rifle which as a subfamily are currently rated D-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic Endgame Analysis spreadsheet in https://www.destiny2.science/ as "essentially just a worse high-impact auto". The frame intrinsic offers built-in anti-Overload, and +20 to the hidden Mobility stat and ×1.0625 base movement speed as per the https://www.destiny2.science/ Destiny Data Compendium. The stats are on the low side by comparison with its peers - you can see the stats at https://destiny.report/w/3176697588/infinite-paths-8 hopefully https://d2foundry.gg/w/3176697588 will show how weapon stats impact in-game performance when the site is back up and running. The recoil is right and quite loose, so to tighten that up, look for a barrel perk that helps with Recoil Direction or, if you can handle it just go for extra handling, and then with the magazine perk go for something that helps improve magazine size or reload. For single target damage, synergising with arc builds, in the first trait perk column, Trickle Charge refills 10% of the magazine on receiving a stack of Arc Bolt Charge, and 20% when you discharge with a lightning bolt on a target, or Supercharged Magazine refills 5% of the magazine every 1.5s while you're Amplified or, after you sprint when Amplified to gain Speed Booster this accelerates to 5% every 0.25s while the buff is active, overflowing the magazine to up to ×2 capacity. Alternatively, for additional AoE damage, Dragonfly procs a 4.5m arc explosion on a crit kill - this counts as weapon damage so can inherit dmage buffs or, for your neutral game, Demolitionist generates chunk grenade ability energy on kills and an instant magazine refill on grenade use. In the second column, for damage, Voltshot applies Arc Jolt to the next target you hit within 7s (8s when enhanced), after a reload within 5.3s of a kill, for additional damage to the target on further hits plus AoE chain lightning damage on nearby enemies. The Radiolaria Transposer origin trait is useful for clearing adds - three Minors or one Major or Boss enemy kill will result in a 3m AoE explosion on death, leaving a damaging pool of radiolaria for a few seconds. The damage is treated as weapon damage so inherits damage boosts. If you're interested, "Infinite Paths," refers to the Infinite Forest Vex simulation engine on Mercury, while the "8" references Lost Prophecy, Verse 8 - the specific algorithm or riddle that Brother Vance gave us to forge the weapon back in Curse of Osiris. Recommended MW: Handling, with your preferred choice of mod to boost weapon stats, ammo generation, or elemental pickups for builds.|tags:PvE PvE-Minor PvE-GroupAdd PvE-God M+KB Controller

What these Infinite Paths 8 perks do

Trickle Charge

Receiving Bolt Charge refills 10% of the magazine. Does not currently dissipate Heat for Heat Weapons. Discharging Bolt Charge refills 20% of the magazine. Dissipates 100% Heat on Heat Weapons. Works while stowed.

Rolling Storm

Weapon Kills grant 1 Stack of Bolt Charge. While Amplified, this is increased to 2 Stacks.

Supercharged Magazine

Refills 5% of the magazine (rounded up) every 1.5 seconds while Amplified. Activating Speed Booster increases this rate to once every 0.25 seconds, and allows the perk to overfill the magazine up to double its base capacity.

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.

Voltshot

Finishing a reload within 5.3 seconds of a Weapon Kill grants Voltshot for 7 seconds. While Voltshot is active, your next Weapon Hit consumes the buff and applies Jolt to the target. Applied Jolt's damage (generally) does not count as Weapon Damage.

Dragonfly

Precision Kills cause targets to explode, dealing up to 123.89 [95.3] weapon-matching elemental damage in a 4.5-meter radius.
