Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 150 from 19 August 2025 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/09YmSx1l928T7hFnj7Kvxi?si=eb827f2ac1974a14) with @CourtProjects, @ImpetusAlways and @Saint_Kabr (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for clearing minor add groups both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content. As an adaptive frame, Last Thursday doesn't have any intrinsic to offer and, to be honest, if you already have a decent strand pulse rifle you can probably pass as the perk pool is PvP oriented. At base, by comparison with its peers, the stats are decent with a boost at Tier 4/5 when barrel and magazine perks are enhanced - d2foundry.gg calculates that Range of 44 translates to 19.30m hipfire and 32.81m ADS before damage drop-off, 52 Stability is ×1.0800 flinch resistance, 42 Handling is 0.41s ready, 0.38s ADS and 0.40s stow speed, 38 Reload Speed is a 2.01s reload and Magazine Size is 33 (max 48). Controller players will probably need a bit of assistance from the barrel perk to control the recoil, but M+KB can focus on boosting handling. As the magazine perk, the combat effect rounds are all here, or look to boost Reload Speed. For a general purpose roll, in the first trait perk column Demolitionist is great for generating grenade ability energy, and also to refill the magazine on grenade usage, or Rapid Hit improves Stability by up to +25 and Reload Speed by up to +60 with a ×0.92 animation modifier at 5 stacks on rapid crit hits. For damage, Frenzy is always decent for a ×1.15 damage boost and maxing out both Handling and Reload Speed while in combat, Binary Orbit provides a ×1.25 boost to damage for 8.5s (10.5s when enhanced) for getting a kill with an opposite energy type - so any light-based energy kill will proc, or Dragonfly procs a 4.5m AoE explosion on a crit kill to help deal with groups of adds. The Exhaustive Research Origin Trait is very good for PvE - ADS for 1s at an enemy up to 60m away, and the next shot will fire a mini-rocket - these are affected by and can proc rocket-based perks and traits too - with a 5s cooldown. Recommended MW: Handling or Stability, with your preferred choice of mod/enhanced mod to boost weapon stats, ammo regeneration, or elemental pickups for builds - and don't forget to check any available seasonal fragile mods.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller

What these Last Thursday perks do

High-Caliber Rounds

Hits inflict increased Flinch on Enemies. PVE: Tier 1-2 Minors can be repeatedly staggered. Higher Tier Combatants stagger quicker. PVP: Flinch against Players varies based on damage and Weapon Archetype. Flinch increase ranges between 5-10%.

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Frenzy

Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Binary Orbit

Scoring opposing Elemental Alignment Kills grants 25% increased damage for 8.5 seconds. Buff can be activated while stowed. Elemental Alignment details: • Arc, Solar, Void Kills buff Kinetic, Stasis, and Strand Weapons • Kinetic, Stasis, and Strand Kills buff Arc, Solar, and Void Weapons

Rapid Hit

"Buffed Hits" grant 1 Stack of Rapid Hit for 2 seconds. Maximum of 5 Stacks. "Buffed Hits" refer to any "Yellow Number" Hits such as Precision Hits or Hits against debuffed targets.
