pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Did we need another arc submachine gun? We just recently got Subjunctive and IKELOS_SMG_v1.0.3 both of which have better 3rd column perks. Jolting Feedback allowing you to inflict Jolt without a reload is great and plays into Loose Change easier than with Voltshot. Precision frame SMGs have not been popular in PvE for quite some time but they are easy to use." Recommended MW: Reload Speed.

Adamsdown_Boy written v8.1.5.4 (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for clearing Minor adds in general, and end-game underleveled content, particularly with arc builds. Noxious Vetiver is an arc precision frame, so ghe recoil direction stat can be ignored. At base, the stats are decent (if you ignore Shayura's Wrath as the resident stat monster) - 48 Range equates to 18.79m ADS and 13.42m hipfire, 38 Stability, 18 Handling is 0.43s ready, 0.32 ADS and 0.40 stow speed, and 19 Reload speed is a 2.29s reload. First, look to boost Handling with the barrel perk. In the mag perk slot, maybe look for additional reload speed for manual reloads for when you can't proc the origin trait to bypass reload. For add-clearing purposes, you can boost handling and reload with Loose Change, generate orbs to proc armor mods with Attrition Orbs, or regenerate health with Unrelenting in the first trait perk column. Jolting Feedback is very useful in tougher content to proc Jolt on a target, without requiring a kill first. The Dark Ether Reaper origin trait is one of the best in the sandbox for PvE - generate a Dark Ether charge for 5s from kills, and then shoot with any weapon (or run into) the charge to proc a Dragonfly-type detonation which also overflows equipped and stowed Dark Ether weapons to ×1.4 (rounded up) base capacity or ×1.8 when enhanced, completely bypassing reload. If you're interested, vetiver is a fragrant extract or essential oil obtained from the root of an Indian grass, so a noxious version would be harmful or destructive. Recommended MW: Handling or Reload Speed, with a Backup Mag mod or, when masterworked, Synergy to create Ionic Traces or, when the artifact mod's around, Stunloader.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

For Hunter Arc builds, there's a lot of synergy between the Puglist and Jolting Feedback trait perks - building well into arc melees, aspects, fragments and subclass verbs, particularly with the sandbox changes due in Episode: Heretic. The Dark Ether Reaper origin trait is one of the best in the sandbox for PvE - generate a Dark Ether charge for 5s from kills, and then shoot with any weapon (or run into) the charge to proc a Dragonfly-type detonation which also overflows equipped and stowed Dark Ether weapons to ×1.4 (rounded up) base capacity or ×1.8 when enhanced, completely bypassing reload. pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Noxious Vetiver could be an Antiope-D replacement in the energy slot, or a better comparison is Shayura’s Wrath. Noxious Vetiver has two weaknesses compared to Shayura's Wrath. The first is a lower zoom at 14 compared to 15. The other is a lack of perks in the third and fourth columns. Target Lock is fine but isn't Kill Clip. To the Pain is a fantastic sleeper perk not many people are using but it's not Keep Away or Zen Moment. So in not so many words it is not as good as Shayura's Wrath." Recommended MW: Range.
