[YeezyGT's S16] [MW: Velocity] "This is the Grenade Launcher we've always wanted. A Kinetic slot GL that can roll with not only Auto-Loading (a first-ever), but Vorpal Weapon simultaneously. If you're a triple GL fan like me, it means you can now run a full suite of Auto-Loading GLs, rotate an ALH Pardon with a Demolitionist Salvo for Atheon damage, or just simply have access to more varied Blinding Grenade builds. Ignition Code is stiff competition in this slot with a similar perk pool - I'd go for Pardon strictly if you're requiring ALH (which is its only edge vs. a well-rolled Ignition Code). Also comes with Ambitious Assassin, and Perpetual isn't bad either."

Inspired by DMB Podcast 279 with @Saint_Kabr. First-choice PvP pick for duelling. Shapeable. The Hot Swap origin trait works well for PvP, boosting handling when swapping to the weapon while damaged for quick swaps and ADS speed. For direct, one-hit kills, you'll need Spike Grenades, paired with a barrel that boosts velocity. In the first trait column, Auto-Loading Holster means you can carry on about your business and have a shot ready when you need it, or Steady Hands provide a boost to handling when you swap back to your primary. In the second trait column Demolitionist or Pugilist grant a hefty 20% ability energy on a kill. Recommended MW: Handling or Velocity, with a Quick Access Sling or Sprint Grip mod depending on your preference.

Inspired by DMB PvE Podcast 26. PvE first-choice roll for general content. If you haven't got a kinetic grenade launcher for dealing with adds, this offers some good options. Use your barrel to increase projectile speed without harming Blast Radius, and then High-Velocity Rounds adds Velocity and Reload Speed. Both Auto-Loading Holster and Ambitious Assassin have their place, and then Demolitionist or Wellspring helps with ability energy (and who doesn't love that?). Recommended MW: Reload Speed or Velocity, with a damage boosting (Major, Boss or Taken Spec) mod.

The Hot Swap origin trait works well for PvP, boosting handling when swapping to the weapon while damaged for quick swaps and ADS speed. For blinting or clean-up, you'll need Proximity Grenades with a barrel that offsets the Blast Radius Penalty. In the first trait column, Auto-Loading Holster means you can carry on about your business and have a shot ready when you need it. In the second trait column Demolitionist or Pugilist grant a hefty 20% ability energy on a clean-up kill. Inspired by DMB PvE Podcast 30. PvE backup roll for end-game content. Another opportunity to get a kinetic Blinding Grenade Launcher, if you haven't already - an essential tool in any end-game toolbox. Unfortunately, Danger Zone has been lost in its re-issued format, so there's no complementary trait in the last column. You'll be swapping back and forth, so go for a handling barrel. Obviously Blinding Grenades in the mag, and then Auto-Loading Holster to reload while you're mopping up your blinded enemies with your Energy weapon. As there's not that much in the second column of traits, but if you do manage to catch an add or two, you might as well try to get some ability energy out of it. Recommended MW: Handling, with a Quick Access Sling mod.

What these Pardon Our Dust perks do

Disorienting Grenades

Passively grants -200 Blast Radius, 25% decreased damage, and 15% decreased detonation radius. Enemies within 6 meters of the explosion are disoriented for 4.5 seconds. Disorient radius cannot be increased using other perks. Champions and Bosses are unaffected by Disorient. (Disorient is effectively the equivalent of Arc Blind without any of the elemental synergies and anti-champion benefits) Players near the explosion briefly lose their HUD and have their screen distorted for up to ? seconds. Duration varies depending on the distance from the blast.

Auto-Loading Holster

Refills stowed weapon from reserves after 3.5 seconds of it being stowed.

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Danger Zone

Increases Blast Radius by ?% and decreased Self-Damage while within 15 meters of 3 enemies. Effect lingers for 3.5 seconds once no longer surrounded. Grenade Launchers: 40% decreased Self-Damage Rocket Launchers: 99.99% decreased Self-Damage and allows for rocket jumping

Spike Grenades

Increases Grenade Impact damage: • 12.12% increase on Special Grenade Launchers • 12.5% increase on Power Grenade Launchers Due to the ratio of Detonation and Impact damage being tied to the Blast Radius stat on Grenade Launchers, a lower stat will provide a slightly higher overall damage increase.

Steady Hands

Weapon Kills grant 100 Handling and a 0.825x Handling Animation Duration Multiplier to all weapons for 8.5 seconds. Additional kills while the perk is active refresh the duration to 6.5 seconds.

Pugilist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Melee Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Dealing Melee Damage grants 35 Handling for 3 seconds. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Vorpal Weapon

Deals increased damage against Minibosses, Bosses, and Vehicles, as well as Players in their Super Ability. Damage increase by Ammo Type: • Primary Weapons: 20% [60%] • Special Weapons: 15% [20%] • Power Weapons: 10% [20%]

Ambitious Assassin

Reloading after scoring Kills with the weapon overfills the magazine from reserves based on the number of Kills scored. Overfill amount maxes out at 150% of the Magazine Capacity. Always rounds up. Kill counter persists through stow. Overfill amount per Kill scored: • Primary Weapons: 20% • Special and Power Weapons: 10%

Wellspring

On Weapon Kill: Grants 8% Ability Energy split equally amongst all uncharged abilities. Abilities with multiple charges only receive one third of the ability energy normally split to them once they have a full ability charge ready. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Rampage

Weapon Kills grant a Stack of Rampage. Maximum of 3 Stacks. Stacks expire one at a time every 4.5 seconds. Grants a 10%|21%|33.1% damage increase at 1|2|3 Stacks. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Adrenaline Junkie

Weapon Kills grant 1 Stack of Adrenaline Junkie for 4.5 seconds. Grenade Kills grant all 5 Stacks instantly even if the weapon is stowed. Adrenaline Junkie benefits: • 20 Handling • 6.7%|13.3%|20%|26.6%|33.3% increased damage at 1|2|3|4|5 Stacks

Perpetual Motion

While moving at a minimum of 2 meters per second: Grants a Stack of 'Perpetual Motion' after 2 seconds and a second Stack after 10 seconds. Each Stack provides 10 Stability, 10 Handling, and 10 Reload Speed. All Stacks are removed if movement speed is below 2 m/s for 0.5 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed.
