pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "What a fun little grenade launcher. Area denial where all the kills also build up your Bolt Charge. Ambitious Assassin gives you more chances for those kills. If you prefer less Arc synergy (look elsewhere????) then go for Unrelenting in the final column to get passive health back as unsuspecting Thrall walks through your pools." Recommended MW: Reload Speed.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Area Denial grenade launchers have not been meta outside of Witherhoard because Witherhoard can stick. The area denial frames just leave a nice pool around them, but do even less tick damage than Witherhoard. I know you're giving up your exotic slot, but Witherhoard is a straight upgrade over the legendaries in PvP." Recommended MW: Blast Radius.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 129 from 4 February 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/19eFPPXbMv7cC0w8kJ234H?si=d61c9144b9aa4974) with @Saint_Kabr, @ImpetusAlways and @CourtProjects (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for clearing Minor add crowds in general, and end-game underleveled content. Psychopomp adds an S-Tier arc option to the lineup of area denial frame grenade launchers. At base, the stats are in-band - at the time of writing, D2Foundry isn't showing the in-game stats, but hopefully they'll be added in soon. With 0/1/2/3 reserves mods, total ammo is 24/25/25/25 (max 25). Quick Launch as the barrel perk boosts both Handling and Velocity, and the High-Velocity Rounds magazine perk adds more Velocity with Reload Speed. In the first trait perk column, Ambitious Assassin overflows the magazine for two shots from a reload after a kill, as can the Runneth Over origin trait when you're with 15m of at least one other ally and, when the stars align, they can both proc for a physics-defying three in the tube. Alternatively, for melee builds, you gain 20% ability energy per kill from Pugilist. In the second column, Frenzy maxes out Handling and Reload Speed and boosts damage by ×1.15 just for being in combat. Runneth Over is probably the more immediately useful origin trait, overflowing your magazine by 10% of base magazine capacity per nearby ally (up to 5) when reloading. Recommended MW: Handling or Stability, with a Quick Access Sling mod or, when masterworked, Synergy to create Ionic Traces or, when the artifact mod's around, Stunloader. Also, don't forget to check whether there's a useful Seasonal Fragile mod for the activity you're running.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

In the second column, for arc build synergy, Rolling Thunder speeds up accumulation of Bolt Charge, adding a stack on a kill (2 when Amplified) for additional damage from lightning bolts. Runneth Over is probably the more immediately useful origin trait, overflowing your magazine by 10% of base magazine capacity per nearby ally (up to 5) when reloading. What these Psychopomp perks do

Ambitious Assassin

Reloading after scoring Kills with the weapon overfills the magazine from reserves based on the number of Kills scored. Overfill amount maxes out at 150% of the Magazine Capacity. Always rounds up. Kill counter persists through stow. Overfill amount per Kill scored: • Primary Weapons: 20% • Special and Power Weapons: 10%

Rolling Storm

Weapon Kills grant 1 Stack of Bolt Charge. While Amplified, this is increased to 2 Stacks.

Unrelenting

Starts Health Regeneration and restores 65 HP upon reaching 100% Activation Progress with Weapon Kills within 5 seconds of each. Activation Progress by Enemy Rank: • Minor Combatants: 34% • Players: 67% • Elites, Minibosses, and Bosses: 100%

Feeding Frenzy

Weapon Kills grant 1 Stack of Feeding Frenzy for 3.5 seconds, increasing the Reload Speed of the weapon. Maximum of 5 Stacks. Bonuses at 1|2|3|4|5 Stacks: • 8|50|60|75|100 Reload Speed • 2.5%|10%|13%|16%|20% decreased Reload Animation Duration

Envious Arsenal

Dealing any damage with both of your other weapons refills the magazine from reserves upon readying the weapon.

Harmony

Upon readying the weapon within 3 seconds of getting a Kill with a different weapon: Grants 20% increased damage and 15 Handling for 7 seconds.

Threat Detector

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Pugilist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Melee Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Dealing Melee Damage grants 35 Handling for 3 seconds.
