pandapaxxy (PvE Controller \ M+KB): Recommended MW: Reload “Pure Poetry is a fantastic addition to the 120 family. With both Crimil's Dagger and Steady Hand being removed from the Iron Banner loot pool there really is only Loud Lullaby in the kinetic slot. Pure Poetry is not the best option, but it is nice to have it. The best benefit over Loud Lullaby is when you get a few resets in for your vanguard rep and have multiple perks within each column. For PvE outlaw is going to be your best friend. It can allow you to completely ignore reload and invest into handling or stability for your preference. Another great option is the newly buffed ambitious assassin to also circumvent the low mag / low reload speed. In the fourth column you cannot go wrong with any number of damage perks. Frenzy, rampage, harmony, focused fury, multikill clip, or the new pugilist. Any and all of them are fantastic, but slightly player dependent.“ (Year 5 S18: Season of Plunder Kinetic Hand Cannon Primary Ammo)|tags:PvE, Controller, M+KB

pandapaxxy (PvP Controller): Recommended MW: Stability “For PvP I do not see this as a great replacement for Loud Lullaby. Not having kill clip is a big miss on this archetype for the crucible. It can, however, act as a pocket sniper for clean-ups or to prime targets for your team. Fragile focus and opening shot together will give you some insane ranges to blint or clean up targets.“ (Year 5 S18: Season of Plunder Kinetic Hand Cannon Primary Ammo)

PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame Controller MKB 12 wishlist rolls

Inspired by DMB PvE Podcast 32. PvE backup roll for end-game content. Drops from Vanguard activities, so reset your reputation as many times as you have patience for first, to maximise the trait options from decrypting engrams. Maybe not meta as at S18 v6.2.0.6, but Aggressive Frame HCs are always handy for bounties or patrols that call for crit kills, anyway. Good stats overall, slow firing, so stability is less important - add Handling with your barrel, and reload speed with the mag perk. For your end-game needs, Ensemble or Perpetual Motion and Frenzy in combination will passively boost gunfeel stats and add 15% damage. Recommended MW: Stability or Handling, with a damage-boosting (Minor, Major, or Taken Spec) or Backup Mag mod.

Inspired by DMB Podcast 278 with @Critbuff. First-choice PvP pick for duelling. As with all playlist weapons, the more reputation resets you can get, the more trait options you'll get to play with, otherwise you've only got a 1/144 chance of any pair of traits dropping, before you even look at barrel, mag and masterwork. Out of the box TTK of 1s with 2 crits and 1 body - the subfamily's low stability makes a third crit more difficult. Stats are average, so this won't replace a well-rolled Palindrome or Eyasluna. If you are duelling, then round out the stats with Fluted Barrel and Ricochet Rounds or Flared Magwell. Then, for duelling, Well-Rounded or Perpetual Motion fill out the stats nicely, and Eye of the Storm makes hitting your third shot in a gunfight easier. Recommended MW: Handling, with a Targeting Adjustor, Quick Access Sling or Sprint Grip mod depending on your preference.

What these Pure Poetry perks do

Eye of the Storm

Grants a scaling buff to Handling and Accuracy as your Shield Health drops below 40 and reaches maximum strength at 0 Shield HP. Buff at maximum strength grants: • 30 Handling • 40% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 17% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth The buff linearly scales from 0% at 80 Shield HP to 100% at 0 Shield HP (Critical Health). It initially triggers as you drop to 40 Shield HP — giving you 50% of the maximum buff. However, as you regenerate your Shield Health, the buff will still remain until you reach 80 Shield HP where the benefits scale down to zero.

Well-Rounded

Grenade Ability usage and Elemental Melee hits grant 1 Stack of Well-Rounded for 15 seconds. Super Ability usage grants 2 Stacks. Maximum of 2 Stacks. Each Stack grants 10 Range, 10 Stability, and 10 Handling. Clarity tooltip editor's note: We're replacing the previous Powered Melee term with Elemental Melee. The former is now exclusively used for perks that require the consumption of a Melee Ability Charge. This note is temporary and will be removed in the future.

Ensemble

Grants 30 Handling and 40 Reload Speed while within 15 meters of an ally. Buff lingers for 1.5 seconds once you're no longer near allies.

Perpetual Motion

While moving at a minimum of 2 meters per second: Grants a Stack of 'Perpetual Motion' after 2 seconds and a second Stack after 10 seconds. Each Stack provides 10 Stability, 10 Handling, and 10 Reload Speed. All Stacks are removed if movement speed is below 2 m/s for 0.5 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed.

Elemental Capacitor

Grants Passive Bonuses based on the element of your selected Super's element: • Solar: 50 Reload Speed • Arc: 50 Handling • Void: 20 Stability • Strand: 20 Airborne Effectiveness • Stasis: 20 Recoil Direction & 20% decreased ADS Movement Speed Penalty

Swashbuckler

Weapon Kills grant a Stack of 'Swashbuckler' for 4.5 seconds. Maximum of 5 Stacks. (Glaive) Melee Kills grant all 5 Stacks instantly. Damage increase at 1|2|3|4|5 Stacks: 6.7% | 13.3% | 20% | 26.6% | 33.3% Stowing the weapon removes the buff.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Fourth Time's the Charm

Scoring 4 Precision Hits within 2 seconds of each refills 2 Ammo into the Magazine from thin air. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Precision Hit counter persists through stow.

Osmosis

Grenade Ability usage refills 50% of your Magazine (rounded up) from reserves and changes the weapon's element to match your equipped Grenade Ability until stowed. Magazine Refill cannot be triggered again without stowing the weapon first. Kinetic weapons lose their Passive Damage Bonus against non-Boss PVE Combatants (10% on Primary, 15% on Special). Perks that replace your Grenade Ability (such as Gunpowder Gamble or Transcendence Grenades) will also trigger Osmosis.

Rampage

Weapon Kills grant a Stack of Rampage. Maximum of 3 Stacks. Stacks expire one at a time every 4.5 seconds. Grants a 10%|21%|33.1% damage increase at 1|2|3 Stacks. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Outlaw

Precision Kills grant 70 Reload Speed with a 0.9x decreased Reload Animation Duration for 6 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Ambitious Assassin

Reloading after scoring Kills with the weapon overfills the magazine from reserves based on the number of Kills scored. Overfill amount maxes out at 150% of the Magazine Capacity. Always rounds up. Kill counter persists through stow. Overfill amount per Kill scored: • Primary Weapons: 20% • Special and Power Weapons: 10%

Outlaw

Precision Kills grant 70 Reload Speed with a 0.9x decreased Reload Animation Duration for 6 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Harmony

Upon readying the weapon within 3 seconds of getting a Kill with a different weapon: Grants 20% increased damage and 15 Handling for 7 seconds.

Multikill Clip

Finishing a reload within 3.6 seconds of scoring 1|2|3 Weapon Kills within 3.5 seconds of each grants 17%|33%|50% increased damage for 5 seconds. Buff is overwritten every time it is triggered and is removed on stow.

Opening Shot

Grants the following benefits for your first shot (of the burst): • 20 Aim Assist and 25 Range • 5% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth Special weapons only receive 50% of the benefits. Stats are rounded up. Firing the weapon prevents the perk from activating for 3 seconds.

Fragile Focus

Passively grants 20 Range but deactivates if you drop to 0 Shield HP (Critical Health). Buff reactivates 1 second after your Shields HP fully regenerates.

High-Caliber Rounds

Hits inflict increased Flinch on Enemies. PVE: Tier 1-2 Minors can be repeatedly staggered. Higher Tier Combatants stagger quicker. PVP: Flinch against Players varies based on damage and Weapon Archetype. Flinch increase ranges between 5-10%.

Steady Hands

Weapon Kills grant 100 Handling and a 0.825x Handling Animation Duration Multiplier to all weapons for 8.5 seconds. Additional kills while the perk is active refresh the duration to 6.5 seconds.
