pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): Recommended MW: Stability. Aggressive Frame(750) Stasis Submachine Gun Primary Ammo. "In PvP your best bet is Target Lock for the added damage and Encore for more stats. Perpetual Motion and Well-Rounded are also great for boosting stats. I really think you should be bringing up the stability as much as you can while maintaining as much range as possible."

pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): Recommended MW: Stability. Aggressive Frame(750) Stasis Submachine Gun Primary Ammo. "The only problem with this submachine gun is the far too low stability. Rapacious Appetite has literally the lowest stability across all submachine guns in the game at 6. A whopping 6. You’re going to want to bump that up even on MnK. You can drop the stability to zero, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Well-Rounded does give some great stability to bring up Rapacious Appetite’s extremely low stability. One for All is the easiest damage bonus to get as you won’t need to get kills and your low stability will occasionally make crit kills harder, making Headstone less optimal. Frenzy also brings up your damage and reload which really helps out."

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 61 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/4XT0gPkoVSh3cM6gMtSupq?si=18db495353ca49ad) with @ImpetusAlways, @Saint_Kabr and @CourtProjects. First-choice PvE pick for minor add clear in endgame activities. Shapeable. Rapacious Appetite is one of only two Stasis aggressive SMGs as at S21, so there's not much to compare the stats against. But even so, the stability of 6 might make you pause. On the plus side, the range is the highest in the subfamily. Fortunately, for mouse and keyboard, you can ignore the stability and just go for range with the barrel choice and masterwork. In the mag, the Combat Effect perks all provide utility, you can boost Reload Speed through Light Mag or Flared Magwell. The easiest way to add the gunfeel stats you need in an end-game roll is through Perpetual Motion in the first trait column as your support perk or, alternatively you can extend the useful magazine through Fourth Time's The Charm. Then, in the second column as the signature perk, One For All is an easy-to-proc 35% boost to damage for add clear, or to take on the occasional major. Recommended MW: Range, with a damage-boosting (Minor or Taken Spec) or Backup Mag mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-God, PvE-EndGame, M+KB

What these Rapacious Appetite perks do

Well-Rounded

Grenade Ability usage and Elemental Melee hits grant 1 Stack of Well-Rounded for 15 seconds. Super Ability usage grants 2 Stacks. Maximum of 2 Stacks. Each Stack grants 10 Range, 10 Stability, and 10 Handling. Clarity tooltip editor's note: We're replacing the previous Powered Melee term with Elemental Melee. The former is now exclusively used for perks that require the consumption of a Melee Ability Charge. This note is temporary and will be removed in the future.

One for All

Scoring Weapon Hits against 3 Separate Enemies within 3 seconds of each grants 35% increased damage for 10 seconds. Does not require Direct Hits. Buff duration cannot be refreshed.

Armor-Piercing Rounds

Grants 5% increased damage against Elemental and Barrier Champion Shields. Allows bullets to overpenetrate enemies once.

Perpetual Motion

While moving at a minimum of 2 meters per second: Grants a Stack of 'Perpetual Motion' after 2 seconds and a second Stack after 10 seconds. Each Stack provides 10 Stability, 10 Handling, and 10 Reload Speed. All Stacks are removed if movement speed is below 2 m/s for 0.5 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Headstone

Precision Kills create a Large Stasis Crystal at the target's location. Tier 1-2 Minor and Tier 1 Elite Combatants only spawn a Medium Stasis Crystal. Creating 5 Crystals within ? seconds prevents the perk from activating for 5 seconds.

Stacks displayed on-screen are only visual aides, the buff ramps up with each shot once active. Reaches maximum strength at 5 Stacks. % of the Magazine Capacity as Hits required for each Visual Stack: 12.5%|35.5%|54.5%|74.5%|110.33% Damage Buff ramps up from 16.73% [10.46%] to 40% [25%] upon reaching maximum strength.
