Well, since we’ve never seen one of these before you’re going to want Overflow to double your magazine capacity, and Golden Tricorn to really pump up that damage. Arrowhead Brake is almost required for the low 53 recoil direction. With our new deterministic recoil you might be able to learn the recoil pattern and not need Arrowhead Brake, but I don’t like to fight with my weapons." Recommended MW: Stability.

The perks unique to it aren’t useful in the crucible spare Enlightened Action which will make this pulse feel better but not help its lethality. Neutrally with Headseeker you could have a pulse that feels fantastic, but Keep Away will probably be better for the range and accuracy bonuses. If you like the model and sights I’d suggest grinding out the patterns, if you already have another rapid-fire frame pulse I wouldn’t worry too much about this one." Recommended MW: Stability.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 92 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/2qpoxXfXzBXohHBrdQnHbd?si=aH9jqq3kRwOtwQoh2YhHDA) with @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways. First-choice PvE pick for bulkier Minor spec add clearing in general content. Shapeable. Scalar Potential has decent stats and a nice clean scope, but you're limited by a PvP trait perk pool. Arrowhead Brake is probably the best barrel perk, although you could imrpve handling or range if you can handle the recoil direction. Tactical Mag or Flared Magwell are then the pick of the mag perks. As the support perk in the first trait column, the new-for-season-23 Permeability works well with Golden Tricorn in the second as the signature perk to make the second damage stack, for +50% damage, attainable for any subclass you run. The Dragon's Vengeance origin trait can be useful, although it only procs once your health bar turns red or an ally dies. You'll get a reload and 11s of a boost to range and either charge rate or handling. What these Scalar Potential perks do

Permeability

Class Ability usage refills ?% of your Magazine (rounded up) from reserves and changes the weapon's element to match your Super Ability until stowed. Magazine Refill cannot be triggered again without stowing the weapon first. Kinetic weapons lose their Passive Damage Bonus against non-Boss PVE Combatants (10% on Primary, 15% on Special).

Golden Tricorn

While the perk's buff isn't active, Weapon Kills grant 'Golden Tricorn x1' for 7 seconds, increasing weapon damage by 15%. Additional Kills refresh the buff duration. While Golden Tricorn x1 or x2 is active: Grenade or Elemental Melee Kills matching the element of the Weapon grant Golden Tricorn x2 for 10 seconds, increasing weapon damage by 50%. Clarity tooltip editor's note: We're replacing the previous Powered Melee term with Elemental Melee. The former is now exclusively used for perks that require the consumption of a Melee Ability Charge. This note is temporary and will be removed in the future.

Overflow

Upon picking up Special or Heavy Ammo: Refills and Overfills the Magazine from reserves. Overfill amount maxes out at 100% of the Magazine Capacity. Activates even while stowed.

Enlightened Action

Weapon Hits grant Stacks of Enlightened Action for 2 seconds. Maximum of 12 Stacks. Stat bonuses at 1|2|…|12 Stacks: 2|7|12|15|20|25|30|35|38|40|45|50 Handling and Reload Speed Stacks granted per hit by Weapon Type: • Hand Cannons: 3 Stacks • Bows: ? Stacks • Automatic Weapons: 1 Stack

Keep Away

While no enemies are within 15 meters: Grants 10 Range, 30 Reload Speed, and decreases Accuracy Cone Growth by 5?%.

Focused Fury

Scoring 35% of the Base Magazine Capacity as Precision Hits grants 25% increased damage for 11 seconds. Stowing or Reloading the weapon resets the Precision Hit counter. The buff remains active while stowed. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Headseeker

Dealing non-Precision Direct damage grants the following benefits for 0.55 seconds: • 20% increased Precision Bonus (complicated, see specific damage increases below) • 3% increased Aim Assist Cone size Precision damage increases by weapon type/frame: • Pulse Rifles: Adaptive: 7.1%, Aggressive Burst: 10%, Heavy Burst: 9.5%, High-Impact: 8.74%, Lightweight: 6.3%, Rapid-Fire: 10.3% • Sidearms: Adaptive Burst: 8.46%, Heavy Burst: 7.36% • Scout Rifles: Precision: 8.66% [Bug] Heavy Burst Hand Cannons: 7% increased Weakspot damage. The distinction between Weakspots and Critspots is complicated and we might write an explainer blog post about it eventually. For the purposes of PvP, the two are equivalent.
