pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "While this rocket is better than Crowning Duologue, it's because the bar was so low Semiotician almost tripped walking in this season. Semiotician has way too many vowels to be considered healthy, but has a decent enough perk tool to keep it around. Enhanced Field Prep and Enhanced Explosive Light are going to be tried and true. Thanks to one of my Patrons, we discovered with one reserve mod and enhanced Bipod you can have 15 rockets in reserves. The last possible perk combination is Impulse Amplifier with Frenzy as once Frenzy gets going you won't need the reload, so the added velocity is appreciated here." Recommended MW: Velocity.

pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): "High-Impact Frames are generally regarded as the best rocket archetype to use. Great blast radius for splash damage. Semiotician doesn't have any incredible AoE perks like Chain Reaction or Cluster Bomb for multikills but it does have Explosive Light to max out the blast radius, it's easy enough to get orbs, and you'll be able to nuke supers with Explosive Light." Recommended MW: Handling.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 76 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/4UoXFYD3DbunDEKIGDiriX?si=1957400d9e024ed5) with @Saint_Kabr and @ImpetusAlways. First-choice PvE pick for sustained damage against Boss Spec enemies in end-game content. Shapeable. If you're interested, a Semiotician is someone who studies semiotics - symbols and meanings (think Tom Hanks' "Symbologist" character in the Da Vinci Code). While High Impact rocket launchers aren't optimum for damage - doing 10% less damage than adaptives and aggressives - this is still the best Strand RL cvailable as at season 21, with great stats at base. If you're using this against a boss, velocity is more impart and than blast radius, so Quick Launch is your best barrel perk choice, and Impact Casing in the mag adds a little extra damage (it all helps!). For your boss damage roll, enhanced Field Prep as the first trait column support park boosts the reload speed but, more importantly, is the equivalent of two reserve mods so you only need one to get to the maximum of 10. But then if you add Bipod as your second column signature perk, you can end up with 15 total rockets, which should be plenty for a damage phase, and Field Prep more than offsets the reload penalty. Whether you find the Head Rush origin trait useful will depend on how often you crouch and get up again - if you do, the additional handling and reload speed is useful, if not game-changing. Recommended MW: Reload Speed, with a damage-boosting (Minor or Taken Spec) mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-Boss, PvE-BossSpec, PvE-God, PvE-EndGame, M+KB, Controller

First-choice PvE pick for Minor Spec add clear enemies in end-game content. If you're leaning into the high blast radius and plan to use a rocket launcher for add clear (that way lies a jacket with wraparound sleeves, but you do you!), max out both the blast radius and bopost velocity with Volatile Launch and High-Velocity Rounds. Enhanced Field Prep as the first trait column support park boosts the reload speed but, more importantly, is the equivalent of two reserve mods so you only need one to get to the maximum of 10. Then Hatchling as the second column signature perk adds Threadlings to the mix to extend your damage to adds outside the blast radius. Whether you find the Head Rush origin trait useful will depend on how often you crouch and get up again - if you do, the additional handling and reload speed is useful, if not game-changing.
