pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Yesterday's Question is Tomorrow's Answer. Did I just repeat that from the other weapon? Of course! It's hilarious! Okay moving on this rocket can do a few things really well. It won't compete with a grenade launcher with the same perks but having Envious Arsenal to keep topped off with Bait and Switch swaps will keep damage rotations strong." Recommended MW: Blast Radius.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 124 from 19 November 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/3n08KP410ui1TXoEdBmsvu?si=2badf5a8fcac408d) with @Saint_Kabr, @ImpetusAlways and @CourtProjects (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-MajorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick use for add clearing in general, and end-game underleveled content. Yesterday's Questions is a Trials of Osiris reward so not very accessible, and High Impact rocket launchers are really best placed for an add clearing role with the big blast radius which... seems like a waste for a RL. At base the stats are good - 45 Velocity equates to 34.85m/s, 67 Handling is 0.40s ready, 0.39s ADS and 0.33s stow speed, while the Reload Speed of 35 is a 3.34s reload. With 0/1/2/3 reserves mods, you'll have total ammo of 10/11/12/12 (max 13). If you really insist on add clearing, maximise the blast radius and then boost velocity with the barrel and mag perks. Envious Assassin will overflow your magazine as you rack up kills with other weapons, or Air Trigger when enhanced maxes out your ammo reserves at 13 and boosts reload if you can remember to start the animation while you're in the air. Chain Reaction's combatant damage multiplier is the best on a rocket launcher, so that should take out beefier adds and majors easily. The Wild Card origin trait works well for this roll, laying traps for any remaining adds nearby. Recommended MW: Blast Radius or Velocity with a Quick Access Sling mod.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-MajorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 124 from 19 November 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/3n08KP410ui1TXoEdBmsvu?si=2badf5a8fcac408d) with @Saint_Kabr, @ImpetusAlways and @CourtProjects (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-MajorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick use for burst damage against Major and Champion enemies in general, and end-game underleveled content. Yesterday's Questions is a Trials of Osiris reward so not very accessible, and High Impact rocket launchers are only mid-tier for base damage so if you have a good boss damage RL already, you can safely pass. At base the stats are good - 45 Velocity equates to 34.85m/s, 67 Handling is 0.40s ready, 0.39s ADS and 0.33s stow speed, while the Reload Speed of 35 is a 3.34s reload. With 0/1/2/3 reserves mods, you'll have total ammo of 10/11/12/12 (max 13) or with Bipod 15/16/17/17 (max 18). For a burst DPS weapon you'll be more interested in Velocity or handling from the barrel perk. Impact Casing as the magazine perk adds a little extra damage (×1.022). In the first trait perk column, Envious Assassin can overflow your magazine in the background, ready for burst damage or Air Trigger when enhanced maxes out your ammo reserves at 13 (18 for Bipod) and (if you can bunny hop when the reload amination starts) reduce reload time to 2.31s. In the second column, Explosive Light boosts damage by ×1.25 for six rockets (7 when enhanced) or Bipod just allows you to shoot multiple rockets without reloading. Of the origin traits, Alacrity is great for solo activities, and you will probably get some use out of One Quiet Moment. Wild Card's bolts will only drop after you kill a miniboss, so they won't help kill it but could help with crowd control after. Recommended MW: Velocity or Handling with a Quick Access Sling mod or, when enhanced and the artefact mod's around, a Stunloader mod.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-MajorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

With 0/1/2/3 reserves mods, you'll have total ammo of 10/11/12/12 (max 13). For a sustained DPS weapon there's going to be weapon swapping going on, so you'll need a handling barrel perk. Impact Casing as the magazine perk adds a little extra damage (×1.022). As a trait perk pairing, Envious Arsenal and Bait and Switch proc on the same condition of of doing damage with your other weapons to reload and boost damage by ×1.35. But if you don't get that, Air Trigger when enhanced maxes out your ammo reserves at 13 and (if you can bunny hop when the reload amination starts) reduce reload time to 2.31s. Unfortunately none of the origin traits really work for a boss damage roll, unless you're running solo content in which case use Alacrity. If you're role is to buff fireteam damage, Withering Gaze in the first trait perk column will weaken targets to effectively buff everyone's damage by ×1.15 for 6s - enough time to reload and re-proc again. Frenzy maxes reload speed and handling and adds a useful, if not damage topping ×1.15 weapon damage on top. Unfortunately none of the origin traits really work for a boss damage roll, unless you're running solo content in which case use Alacrity.
