pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): Recommended MW: Reload. Adaptive(1000) Solar Trace Rifle Special Ammo. "Acacia's Dejection is a super fun trace rifle with Reconstruction and Target Lock. Paracausal Affinity is great for instant 20 percent damage. Depending on what you’d like to use this trace rifle for you can either blitz majors and champs with it or clear out rooms of enemies with incredible damage. I would definitely farm for this trace rifle."

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 57 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/3LOWj7jLe0eiacDYwEbK22) with @CourtProjects, @ImpetusAlways and @Saint_Kabr. First-choice PvE roll for Solar subclass synergy for Minor add-clearing in end-game content. Most Raid weapons boast stellar stat packages, and Acasia's Dejection is no different - this is the best legendary trace rifle as at v7.0.0.6. The recoil is already pretty easy to control with 96 Recoil Direction and 80 stability, so your barrel and battery choices are more of a bonus than gap filler. For use against crowds of adds, an overflowed or refilled magazine is a great place to start, so Reconstruction or Rewind Rounds as your first trait column support perk both give you greater uptime for Incandescent's scorch and ignition solar-subclass verbs for crowd control as the second column signature perk. The Harmonic Resonance origin trait can boost damage still further by a stacking 3.33% with one other RoN Raid weapon or 10% with two. Recommended MW: Range, Stability or Handling - just go with your preference, with a damage-boosting (Minor or Taken Spec) or Backup Mag mod|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-God, PvE-EndGame, Controller, M+KB

pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): Recommended MW: Range. Adaptive(1000) Solar Trace Rifle Special Ammo. "In PvP there’s a lot less to talk about. Trace rifles are beefed up auto rifles but lack ammo. Target Lock will melt your enemies as long as you're accurate. The one bonus is perfect hip-fire accuracy as you are looking at the trace."

What these Acasia's Dejection (Adept) perks do

Target Lock

Successive Hits within 0.2 seconds of each grant a ramping Damage Buff after scoring 12.5% of the Magazine Capacity as hits. Missing deactivates the buff. Stacks displayed on-screen are only visual aides, the buff ramps up with each shot once active. Reaches maximum strength at 5 Stacks. % of the Magazine Capacity as Hits required for each Visual Stack: 12.5%|35.5%|54.5%|74.5%|110.33% Damage Buff ramps up from 16.73% [10.46%] to 40% [25%] upon reaching maximum strength. Assuming no missed shots, it provides roughly a 25% [15.85%] Damage Buff on average after firing 100% of the Magazine Capacity.

Envious Assassin

Upon readying the weapon after scoring Kills with your other Weapons: Refills and/or overfills the Magazine from reserves based on the amount of Weapon Kills scored. Maximum total overfill amount is 200% of the Magazine Capacity. Each activation can only load up to 100% of the Magazine Capacity into the magazine. Loaded ammo per Kill by ammo type (rounds up): • Primary Weapons: 10% of Magazine Capacity • Special and Power Weapons: 20%

Reconstruction

Every 6 seconds while not firing the weapon: Loads 25% of the Magazine Capacity (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Can overfill the Magazine up to double the normal capacity. Works even while stowed.

Rewind Rounds

Upon emptying the Magazine: Refills 60% of the number of Hits landed (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Hits are counted from either your last reload or the last time the perk was triggered. Does not require Direct Hits. Requires firing 28.75% of the Magazine Capacity for the refill to activate. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Hits after triggering a refill do not count while the Rewind Rounds buff is active (1? second). Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifle behavior: • Each individual bolt in the burst counts as a Hit • Refill amount is uniquely 14% of the number of Hits rounded up (numbers are subject to change once we get more data points)

Paracausal Affinity

Scoring a Kill from any source matching the elemental alignment of the weapon grants 20% increased damage for 6 seconds. Buff can activate while stowed. Light Alignment: Arc, Solar, Void Darkness Alignment: Stasis, Strand

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Perpetual Motion

While moving at a minimum of 2 meters per second: Grants a Stack of 'Perpetual Motion' after 2 seconds and a second Stack after 10 seconds. Each Stack provides 10 Stability, 10 Handling, and 10 Reload Speed. All Stacks are removed if movement speed is below 2 m/s for 0.5 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed.

Keep Away

While no enemies are within 15 meters: Grants 10 Range, 30 Reload Speed, and decreases Accuracy Cone Growth by 5?%.

High-Impact Reserves

Increases damage by 12.1% [3%] to 25.6% [6%] as the Magazine drops from 50% of its base capacity to empty. The buff in PVE ranges between 10.3% and 22.9% instead on Fusion Rifles and Aggressive Frame Linear Fusion Rifles. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Field Prep

Grants the following while Crouched: • 50 Reload Speed • 0.8x Reload Duration Multiplier • 0.8x Ready/Stow Duration Multiplier Passively grants 20 Ammo Generation stat. (50% more than 1 Ammo Generation armor mod)

Incandescent

Weapon Kills trigger a Solar explosion that applies 30 Scorch Stacks (40 with Ember of Ashes) and deals up to 30 damage to enemies within 4 meters of the target. Killing Elite or higher tier Combatants and Players increases the radius to 8 meters and applies 10 more Scorch Stacks. Scorch damage can be increased through Weapon Damage Buffs.
