Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 83 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/4ISDC0TSrLmfEyPuI9oU2m?si=9fbd5a7cf0bc4f07) with @ImpetusAlways, @Saint_Kabr and @CourtProjects. (First-choice PvE pick for burst damage against Major Spec enemies in end-game content. If you weren't around to shape your own Regnant, and don't have a decently-rolled Explosive Light grenade launcher, Acosmic (named after one of the two Hindu aspects of god; to be acosmic is to deny the objective reality of the temporal world - transcendental in a world-negating sense, according to Merriam-Webster) is a void rapid-fire frame GL, with the intrinsic 20% faster reload when its magazine is empty, and is a viable option. Use the barrel perk to get shots to the target as fast as possible, and Spike Grenades adds 13.3% to total damage for a direct hit in the magazine slot. In the first column, for the support trait perk, saves a reserves perk on your chest and significantly boosts reload when you crouch. Explosive Light is the second column as the signature perk adds +52.5% to total damage for up to six shots for great burst damage, as well as boosting the blast radius to 100 - great against Majors surrounded by minor adds. The Nadir Focus origin trait boosts your shot velocity further, which is a nice little bonus. Recommended MW: Velocity, with a damage boosting (Major or Taken Spec) mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-Boss, PvE-MajorSpec, PvE-EndGame, PvE-God, M+KB, Controller

First-choice PvE pick for Minor Spec add-clearing in end-game content. Grenade launchers may not be anyone's first choice for add clearing, but Acosmic (named after one of the two Hindu aspects of god; to be acosmic is to deny the objective reality of the temporal world - transcendental in a world-negating sense, according to Merriam-Webster) is a void rapid-fire frame GL, with the intrinsic 20% faster reload when its magazine is empty, and is a viable option.. Get your blast radius as high as possible with your barrel and mag perks, so you can catch as many adds as possible with your shots. In the first trait column as the support perk, new to season 22 Loose Change boosts reload speed by 50 when you apply an elemental debuff, which is just what Destabilizing Rounds in the second column as the signature perk does. You should be able to clear crowded rooms fast and soften up beefier enemies. The Nadir Focus origin trait boosts your shot velocity further, which is a nice little bonus. Recommended MW: Blast Radius, with a Backup Mag or damage boosting (Minor or Taken Spec) mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-EndGame, PvE-God, M+KB, Controller

pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Similar to how Geodetic HSM is the best sword for void mains, Acosmic GSp will be the best grenade launcher for void mains. Loose Change is a laughable perk on its own, but coupled with Destabilizing Rounds you won't need to rely as heavily on your abilities to get a whopping +50 reload speed. You'll be able to clear rooms with ease and be able to bridge your loadout into higher DPS weapons." Recommended MW: Blast Radius.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Grenade launchers in PvP need to do two things. Hit their targets, and kill them. With high velocity coming at base with these grenade launchers you'll know your grenade gets to where it needs to go. Explosive Light will max out your blast radius and with how often you'll generate an orb the tricky part is actually securing heavy. Proximity Grenades will make this more forgiving. It might just take your heavy slot up from Wendigo." Recommended MW: Velocity.

SirStallion_ (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "[...] this combo just feels weird, and I like that. Cascade Point is really fun on a lot of things and I think there's a world where I run 3 cascade point weapons and see how fast I can run out of ammo. Enlightened Action will help keep the cycle going because unfortunately there is no Auto Loading Holster, so I figure a reload before you stow is going to be best. It should be fun, but it won't be winning any DPS prizes, and that is just.. Okay. It is okay." Recommended MW: Velocity.

SirStallion_ (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "What do you want from a heavy GL in PvP? You wanna kill people fast and you wanna get back to slaying with your regularly scheduled arsenal. What is a core part of that arsenal? Abilities. Picture this.. You pick up heavy, you snag a cute little triple kill on B thanks to Proxy rounds and then you sprint to C so you can grenade the ding dongs you just slaughtered right as they spawn." Recommended MW: Velocity.

Clegmir

Clegmir (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Heavy grenade launchers never felt right to me in PvE because machine guns handle ad-clear better, and for boss or champion damaging you have rockets and linear fusions. That said it is really hard to suggest something other than Quick Launch and Spike Grenades for PvE. For columns three and four you have Impulse Amplifier to help substantially with reloads and velocity, and Explosive Light which allows you to ignore blast radius entirely (while charged with orbs)." Recommended MW: Velocity.
