Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 129 from 4 February 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/19eFPPXbMv7cC0w8kJ234H?si=d61c9144b9aa4974) with @Saint_Kabr, @ImpetusAlways and @CourtProjects (PvE PvE-Utility PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for healing utility and use against Minor adds in general non-underleveled content. Adamantite is the second support-frame AR in game, and the first equippable in the kinetic slot, which both heals allies, improves their damage and spawns unravelling projectiles, making it a good, fun weapon to use. At base, the stats are a bit low - 39 Range equates to 25.00m ADS and 15.63m hipfire, 49 Stability is ×1.1816 flinch resist at 100 Resilience, 70 Handling is 0.32s ready, 0.26s ADS and 0.30s stow speed, 66 Reload Speed is a 1.58s reload and Recoil Direction is 52. The barrel perk can be used to improve the Recoil Direction or Stability on controller and handling on M+KB, and the magazine perk can be used to provide a bit more reload speed or extra rounds. The first trait perk column is strong for PvE, and for general content Unrelenting provides you with 65HP healing for killing 3 Minor adds with 5s of each other, or Demolitionist and Pugilist provide ability energy for grenade and melee builds. In the second column, pairing this with Circle of Life, for ×1.25 damage for 10s after rapidly healing an ally, Attrition Orbs to power armor mods or Frenzy for maxed Handling and Reload Speed stats and ×1.15 when in combat are all excellent choices. Runneth Over is probably the more immediately useful origin trait, overflowing your magazine by 10% of base magazine capacity per nearby ally (up to 5) when reloading. Recommended MW: Handling or Stability, with an Adept Backup Mag mod or, when masterworked, Synergy to create Strand Tangles or, when the artifact mod's around, Stunloader. Also, don't forget to check whether there's a useful Seasonal Fragile mod for the activity you're running.|tags:PvE PvE-Utility PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God M+KB Controller

pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Adamantine is our newest seasonal auto rifle and our first Strand support frame. The biggest draw with this weapon is Tear which provides Severing on precision final blows aiding your team and yourself. Reciprocity is useful if you're using this to heal teammates getting a very small bump back. Slice allows you to spread even more Sever on initial targets as well as not needing a critical kill depending on the faction could be easier on some than others." Recommended MW: Reload Speed.

Adamantite is the second support-frame AR in game, and the first equippable in the kinetic slot, which both heals allies, improves their damage and spawns unravelling projectiles, making it a good, fun weapon to use. The first trait perk column is strong for PvE, but the standout for endgame use is Reciprocity which provides you with healing without having to kill an enemy - 3HP for each hipfired bullet that connects with an ally to heal them. In the second column, pairing this with Circle of Life, for ×1.25 damage for 10s after rapidly healing an ally, Attrition Orbs to power armor mods or Frenzy for maxed Handling and Reload Speed stats and ×1.15 when in combat are all excellent choices. pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): "Support frame auto rifles have not been the strongest in PvP but have small niche scenarios when in a full fireteam. Demolitionist or Pugilist will depend on your build but I generally find grenades stronger than powered melees. Kill Clip is really the only option in the final column as it provides enough of a boost after a kill to offset the slight hit registration delay and get you the second+ kill." Recommended MW: Range.

What these Adamantite (Adept) perks do

Reciprocity

Hitting allies with healing projectiles from the weapon restores 3 HP to you for each projectile.

Tear

Precision Kills Sever enemies within ? meters of the target for ? seconds. ? second cooldown between activations.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Circle of Life

Triggering 'Support Frame Boost' by healing allies with the weapon grants 25% [12.5%] increased damage for 10 seconds.

Slice

Using your Class Ability (even while the weapon is stowed) grants you 'Slice' for 8 seconds. While 'Slice' is active, damaging non-Severed targets Severs them, grants a stack of Slice, and refreshes the buff duration. (Hitting immune targets also triggers this.) Reaching 5 stacks immediately removes the buff. If the Severing hit kills the target, the perk will not trigger and you will not gain a stack.

Subsistence

Weapon Kills refill 10% of the magazine (rounded up) from reserves. Submachine Gun and Auto Rifle Kills refill 17% of the magazine.

Kill Clip

Finishing a reload within 3.6 seconds of a kill grants 25% increased damage for 5 seconds. Stowing the weapon removes the buff. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Pugilist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Melee Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Dealing Melee Damage grants 35 Handling for 3 seconds. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

Attrition Orbs

Scoring multiple Hits against enemies within 5 seconds of each spawns an Orb of Power that grants 0.8% Super Energy. Does not require Direct Hits. Hit counter persists through stow. Hit requirements for activation: • Rocket Launchers: 2 hits • Heavy Grenade Launchers: 3 Hits • Wave-Frame Grenade Launchers: 4 hits • Bows: 4 Hits • Swords: 5 Hits • Area-Denial Grenade Launchers: 26 Hits • Others: 55% of Magazine Size rounded down + 1 Support Frame Auto Rifle healing round Hits on damaged allies count as 2 Hits.

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.

Unrelenting

Starts Health Regeneration and restores 65 HP upon reaching 100% Activation Progress with Weapon Kills within 5 seconds of each. Activation Progress by Enemy Rank: • Minor Combatants: 34% • Players: 67% • Elites, Minibosses, and Bosses: 100%
