If you're still looking for a decent void fusion rifle (and one that looks good too), then Afterlight is an option worth considering. At base, the stats are in-band - 31 Range and 15 Zoom equates to 15.58m ADS and 11.98m hipfire, 39 Stability is ×1.1214 flinch resist at 100 Resilience, 31 Handling is 0.45s ready, 0.36s ADS and 0.36s stow speed, 39 Reload Speed is a 2.15s reload, Recoil Direction is 52 and magazine size is 6 (max 8). With 0/1/2/3 reserves mods, total ammo is 21/24/26/28 (max 28). Use the barrel perk to straighten up the Recoil Direction and a little extra handling with the barrel perk. For the battery perk, add extra shots or there's always Liquid Coils and Accelerated Coils to improve damage or charge time. Building into Reservoir Burst, for a ×1.25 damage boost when the battery is full or overflowed, plus the explosion when killing an enemy, the Runneth Over origin trait is excellent, overfilling your battery by an additional 10% (rounded up) for each Guardian you're within 15m of. In addition, in the first column, look for trait perks that either overfill the battery more or help keep it topped up - Ambitious Assassin to overflow up to ×2 depending on the number of rapid kills before reloading, Discord to refund ammo from thin air on kills for 7s after getting a kill with another weapon, or Grave Robber to refill the battery from reserves on an elemental melee hit or melee kill. Alternatively, Lead From Gold helps with ammo economy. Recommended MW: Charge Time or Handling, with an Adept Backup Mag mod (if the battery is already max capacity then Quick Access Sling) or, when masterworked, Synergy to create Void Breaches or, when the artifact mod's around, Stunloader. Willing Vessel is a useful, if unspectacular origin trait to boost gunfeel stats in the background as you hit and kill targets, but if you're in a fireteam, and manually reloading, Runneth Over will overfill your magazine by an additional 10% (rounded up) for each Guardian you're within 15m of.
