Inspired by @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-Boss PvE-MajorSpec PvE-God PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for burst damage against Banes, Elites, Champions and Minibosses in both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content. Arcane Embrace was the first heavy burst frame shotgun and are rated C-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic. While they struggle to find a defined role in the current sandbox, the subfamily does offer good single mag damage. The stats are decent by comparison with its peers, and are helped further at Tier 4/5 when barrel and magazine perks are enhanced - see https://d2foundry.gg/w/1813474267 for how the weapon stats impact in-game performance. From the @Mossy-Max spreadsheet at https://www.destiny2.science/ base Magazine Size is 12 (max 16) - each trigger pull fires two shots - and total ammo is 36. The usual play for shotguns of boosting Handling with the barrel perk still applies and, as there's no Assault Mag, look to a magazine perk that helps with Reload Speed. For burst damage, you have a wide range of decent first column trait perks to bypass manual reloads, boost Reload Speed, or overflow the magazine to choose from. You'll likely be in CQC ranges, so Surrounded procs to boost damage by up to ×1.4 (×1.47 when enhanced) while within 15m of 3+ enemies. For the Origin Trait, there's only Search Party which applies a ×0.85 ADS animation scalar and ×1.1 ADS movement speed when there are no allies within 15m. For sustained boss damage, once you're out of heavy ammo, there's the perk trait combination of Fourth Time's the Charm to refill 2 shots from reserves after 4 crits within 2s (3s when enhanced) of each other and Precision Instrument which also procs on crit hits granting up to 6 stacks of escalating damage for ×1.25 (×1.3 when enhanced) for 1.25s or until you miss a crit. Alternatively, if you're in a fireteam or a Transcendent subclass, Aggregate Charge provides a stack for each different elemental debuff up to ×3 stacks to boost damage by ×1.3 (×1.33 when enhanced), with each stack lasting as long as the debuff is active. What these Arcane Embrace perks do

Precision Instrument

Direct Weapon Hits grant a stack of Precision Instrument for 1.25 seconds (2.1 seconds on weapons with a Draw/Charge Time). Maximum of 6 stacks. Reloading the weapon (except on Bows) or missing removes all stacks... usually. Heavy Burst Frame weapons can only gain 1 stack per burst. Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifles require 1.5? Hits for each stack (and missing sometimes does not remove your stacks on them). Precision damage increase at 1|2|... stacks: 4.17% | 8.33% | 12.5% | 16.67% | 20.83% | 25%

Fourth Time's the Charm

Scoring 4 Precision Hits within 2 seconds of each refills 2 Ammo into the Magazine from thin air. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Precision Hit counter persists through stow.

Aggregate Charge

Damage against Elemental-Debuffed Targets is increased per unique debuff applied to the target. Damage increased is 10%|20%|30% at 1|2|3 Debuffs.

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.

Surrounded

Being within 15 meters of 3 Enemies grants 40% increased damage. Buff lingers for 1.5 seconds once the condition is no longer met. Exceptions: • Swords only receive a 35% damage increase. • Grenade and Rocket Launchers receive a 35% Explosive Damage increase and a 40% Impact Damage increase. • Wolfpack Rounds receive a 35% Explosive Damage increase.

Envious Assassin

Upon readying the weapon after scoring Kills with your other Weapons: Refills and/or overfills the Magazine from reserves based on the amount of Weapon Kills scored. Maximum total overfill amount is 200% of the Magazine Capacity. Each activation can only load up to 100% of the Magazine Capacity into the magazine. Loaded ammo per Kill by ammo type (rounds up): • Primary Weapons: 10% of Magazine Capacity • Special and Power Weapons: 20%

Reconstruction

Every 6 seconds while not firing the weapon: Loads 25% of the Magazine Capacity (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Can overfill the Magazine up to double the normal capacity. Works even while stowed.

Dual Loader

Reloading loads 1 additional round into the magazine at a time.

Rapid Hit

"Buffed Hits" grant 1 Stack of Rapid Hit for 2 seconds. Maximum of 5 Stacks. "Buffed Hits" refer to any "Yellow Number" Hits such as Precision Hits or Hits against debuffed targets.
