pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Braytech Werewolf is the sole survivor of the two FotL auto rifle conundrum we've had. Poor Horror Story (though whether it's a glitch or not, you can enhance your old FotL weapons…SGA). When using Braytech Werewolf in PvE your best roll is Rewind Rounds or Subsistence paired with your choice of Onslaught or Kinetic Tremors. It entirely depends on how you would like to use this auto. All 4 perks are great on their own and make this auto feel incredible." Recommended MW: Reload Speed.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Precision Frame auto rifles got a recent buff but still don't feel as dominant as they did in year 1 of Destiny 2. Wild that we've come this far. Lone Wolf will give you the best feel for being solo but if you prefer to team-shoot or just live in 6s your better perks are Dynamic Sway Reduction or Zen Moment. Kill Clip is tried and true for the fourth column. Tap the Trigger does stack with our accuracy boosts in the third column for an extremely sticky auto rifle. Desperate Measures is my favorite neutral damage perk that can work with any ability build." Recommended MW: Range.

BrayTech Werewolf returns for 2024 with a couple of new tricks, and its previous good stats. At base, 69 Range equates to 31.00m while ADS and 19.38m hipfire, 39 Handling is 0.41s ready speed, 0.32 ADS speed and 0.38s stow speed, while the Reload Speed of 42 is a 1.94s reload. Being a precision frame, you can pretty much ignore the Recoil Direction stat, and use the barrel perk to boost handling and/or Stability, and pretty much any mag will do (except Extended) - so very much personal preference. For general add-clearing, the trait perk pairing of Rewind Rounds compliments Onslaught to passively refill your mag as you hit adds and reach the higher damage stacks. The Search Party origin trait, gaining better ADS and strafe speed when on your own, might be useful when you're away from your fireteam, but think of it more as a useful added extra when it's procced. Recommended MW: Handling, Stability or Reload Speed depending on your preference, with a Backup Mag mod or, when masterworked, Stunloader when there's a matching artifact mod.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God M+KB Controller

What these BrayTech Werewolf perks do

Onslaught

Weapon Kills grant a Stack of 'Onslaught' for 4.5 seconds. Maximum of 3 Stacks. Benefits at 1|2|3 Stacks of Onslaught: • 16.7% | 28.6% | 37.5% decreased Firing Delay • 15 | 25 | 35 Reload Speed

Rewind Rounds

Upon emptying the Magazine: Refills 60% of the number of Hits landed (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Hits are counted from either your last reload or the last time the perk was triggered. Does not require Direct Hits. Requires firing 28.75% of the Magazine Capacity for the refill to activate. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Hits after triggering a refill do not count while the Rewind Rounds buff is active (1? second). Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifle behavior: • Each individual bolt in the burst counts as a Hit • Refill amount is uniquely 14% of the number of Hits rounded up (numbers are subject to change once we get more data points)

Kinetic Tremors

Scoring multiple Direct Hits against a target within 3 seconds of each emits 3 damaging shockwaves from its location at the time of activation. Hit counter persists through stow. Shockwaves appear 0.25 seconds after scoring enough Hits and have a 1 second delay between each pulse. With Bows, the initial delay is decreased to 0.167 seconds. Each shockwave deals up to 90 [20] damage in a 6 meter radius. Shockwaves deal 33.33% more damage when activated on Miniboss or higher tier PvE Combatants. Shockwaves inherit Weapon Damage Buffs, the weapon's passive Kinetic Damage Bonus in PVE (10% on Primary, 15% on Special), and its Combatant Damage Scaling. They also count as non-direct Hits with the weapon for other interactions. The perk cannot be retriggered by anyone on a target until 2? seconds after the last shockwave. Hits required for Activation: • Submachine Guns: 14 • Auto Rifles: 12 • Pulse Rifles: 11 • Sidearms: 8 • Precision Hand Cannons and Precision Scout Rifles: 6 • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles: 5 • Bows, Sniper Rifles: 3

Desperate Measures

Weapon Kills grant 'Desperate Measures x1' (DMx1), increasing damage by 10% for 7 seconds. Grenade or Melee Kills grant 20% increased damage for 7 seconds (DMx2). Scoring another Grenade or Melee Kill with DMx2 active increases this to 30% (DMx3). Can be activated while stowed. Weapon, Grenade, and Melee Kills refresh the buff duration.

Subsistence

Weapon Kills refill 10% of the magazine (rounded up) from reserves. Submachine Gun and Auto Rifle Kills refill 17% of the magazine.

Overflow

Upon picking up Special or Heavy Ammo: Refills and Overfills the Magazine from reserves. Overfill amount maxes out at 100% of the Magazine Capacity. Activates even while stowed.

Armor-Piercing Rounds

Grants 5% increased damage against Elemental and Barrier Champion Shields. Allows bullets to overpenetrate enemies once.

Kill Clip

Finishing a reload within 3.6 seconds of a kill grants 25% increased damage for 5 seconds. Stowing the weapon removes the buff. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Lone Wolf

Passively grants 5 Aim Assist, 15 Airborne Effectiveness, and a 10% decreased ADS Animation Duration. While no allies are within 15 meters: Bonuses are increased to 10 Aim Assist, 30 Airborne Effectiveness, and a 20% decreased ADS Animation Duration.

Tap the Trigger

Firing grants 'Tap The Trigger' for 0.6 seconds, providing the following benefits: • 40 Stability • 50% decreased Recoil • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Size Fusion Rifles only receive 25% of the benefits. Buff cannot be refreshed until Automatic Weapons stop firing, or until the next burst. [Controller-Only] Weapon fires the instant trigger pressure is applied.

Dynamic Sway Reduction

Each shot while holding down the trigger grants the following benefits: • 1 Stability • ?% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth Reaches maximum strength after 10 shots, granting 10 Stability, ?% decreased Accuracy Cone Size, and 100% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth.

Zen Moment

Weapon Hits grant 1 Stack of the perk for 1 second up to the maximum of 5? Stacks. Benefits granted per Stack: • Grants ?% Flinch Resistance • Reduces Visual Weapon Shake by 15% • Reduces Reticle Bounce by 15% Stacks gained per Weapon Hit by weapon type: • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles: 2? • Pulse Rifles, Sidearms: 1.5 • Other Weapons: 1

High-Caliber Rounds

Hits inflict increased Flinch on Enemies. PVE: Tier 1-2 Minors can be repeatedly staggered. Higher Tier Combatants stagger quicker. PVP: Flinch against Players varies based on damage and Weapon Archetype. Flinch increase ranges between 5-10%.

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.
