pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): Recommended MW: Reload. Adaptive(300) Kinetic Sidearm Primary Ammo. "I loved Buzzard for the few seasons we had it. Now that it can roll Adept mods I love it even more. In PvE you can roll Kinetic Tremors which will give Buzzard a bit more utility in higher-end content. Overflow is arguably one of my favorite perks in the game. Perpetual Motion also needs you to be mobile, easy with a sidearm as you have to get close. Compulsive Reloader is easy to use but falls off quickly with the low magazine size."

pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): Recommended MW: Range. Adaptive(300) Kinetic Sidearm Primary Ammo. "Buzzard with Rangefinder will have a 17m range, going all into range will only bump that up to 18m. I would highly recommend just investing your stats into making the gun feel better as your range will just not bump up the same way. You can max out stability without a lot of investments and Perpetual Motion 2x. Buzzard is an incredibly strong sidearm with incredible stats. Definitely give it a try if you like sidearms."

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 68 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/7e93LMhFDUbZZX5SKYzXf0?si=cec8c26785114ffb) with @Saint_Kabr, @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways. First-choice PvE pick for minor add clear in end-game activities. Buzzard is a sidearm so it's likely to be less than optimal for end-game content, as you have to be very close to use one. It's got good stats overall, but the subfamily is all quite compressed. We can get pretty much every stat close to 100 with this particular roll, except for range so max that out with Full Bore in the barrel, a range Masterwork and any of the Combat Effect magazine perks. In the first trait column as the support perk, Encore wouldn't normally be under consideration, as it's mainly thought of as a PvP perk, but at four stacks it adds -5% accuracy cone growth for easier crits, 20 Range and 32 Stability. With Frenzy in the second trait slot as the signature perk procced, you end up with range of 86, stability of 89 or 99 (depending on the mag), and handling and reload speed at 100, as well as the useful 15% damage boost. Recommended MW: Range, with a damage-boosting (Minor or Taken Spec) or Backup Mag mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-God, PvE-EndGame, Controller, M+KB

What these Buzzard (Adept) perks do

Encore

On Weapon Kill, for 7 seconds: Grants 1 Stack on Bodyshot Kills and 2 Stacks on Precision Kills. Maximum of 4 Stacks. Each stack grants 5 Range, 8 Stability, and -1.25% Accuracy Cone Size.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

High-Caliber Rounds

Hits inflict increased Flinch on Enemies. PVE: Tier 1-2 Minors can be repeatedly staggered. Higher Tier Combatants stagger quicker. PVP: Flinch against Players varies based on damage and Weapon Archetype. Flinch increase ranges between 5-10%.

Armor-Piercing Rounds

Grants 5% increased damage against Elemental and Barrier Champion Shields. Allows bullets to overpenetrate enemies once.

Compulsive Reloader

While above 50% Magazine Capacity: 50 Reload Speed with a 0.95x Reload Duration Multiplier.

Perpetual Motion

While moving at a minimum of 2 meters per second: Grants a Stack of 'Perpetual Motion' after 2 seconds and a second Stack after 10 seconds. Each Stack provides 10 Stability, 10 Handling, and 10 Reload Speed. All Stacks are removed if movement speed is below 2 m/s for 0.5 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed.

Overflow

Upon picking up Special or Heavy Ammo: Refills and Overfills the Magazine from reserves. Overfill amount maxes out at 100% of the Magazine Capacity. Activates even while stowed.

Vorpal Weapon

Deals increased damage against Minibosses, Bosses, and Vehicles, as well as Players in their Super Ability. Damage increase by Ammo Type: • Primary Weapons: 20% [60%] • Special Weapons: 15% [20%] • Power Weapons: 10% [20%]

Kinetic Tremors

Scoring multiple Direct Hits against a target within 3 seconds of each emits 3 damaging shockwaves from its location at the time of activation. Hit counter persists through stow. Shockwaves appear 0.25 seconds after scoring enough Hits and have a 1 second delay between each pulse. With Bows, the initial delay is decreased to 0.167 seconds. Each shockwave deals up to 90 [20] damage in a 6 meter radius. Shockwaves deal 33.33% more damage when activated on Miniboss or higher tier PvE Combatants. Shockwaves inherit Weapon Damage Buffs, the weapon's passive Kinetic Damage Bonus in PVE (10% on Primary, 15% on Special), and its Combatant Damage Scaling. They also count as non-direct Hits with the weapon for other interactions. The perk cannot be retriggered by anyone on a target until 2? seconds after the last shockwave. Hits required for Activation: • Submachine Guns: 14 • Auto Rifles: 12 • Pulse Rifles: 11 • Sidearms: 8 • Precision Hand Cannons and Precision Scout Rifles: 6 • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles: 5 • Bows, Sniper Rifles: 3

Rangefinder

Aiming Down Sights grants the following benefits: • 10 Range • 10% increased Effective Zoom • 5% increased Projectile Speed The Effective Zoom increase pushes out Aim Assist Falloff by 10%, reduces (Absolute) Recoil by 10% and narrows the Accuracy and Aim Assist Cones by the same amount. (This is the normal behavior of Zoom and isn't unique to Rangefinder)
