Inspired by @Saint_Kabr, @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-Minor PvE-GroupAdd PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for clearing groups of Minor adds in general at-level or better content, particularly with Solar builds. Evening SI4 is an adaptive burst sidearm, which are rated B-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic as an decent sidearm, interchangeable with other frame subfamilies. The frame intrinsic fires a 3-round burst and offers no bonuses beyond "being well-rounded and reliable" as per the https://www.destiny2.science/ Destiny Data Compendium. The stats are solid by comparison with its peers - hopefully when the website's back https://d2foundry.gg/w/1763361847 will show how the weapon stats impact in-game performance. First priority with the barrel perk is Handling, and then with the magazine perk look for something that helps improve magazine size or reload. For clearing groups of adds in general content with a solar build, there's the fan favourite trait perk combination of Heal Clip to provide ×2 Solar Cure (140 HP), and ×1 Cure on allies within 15m, when you finish a reload within ~5.3s (~5.5s when enhanced) after a kill, together with Incandescent to spread +30 Solar Scorch stacks within 4m on a red bar Minor add kill (+40 stacks within 8m for orange and yellow bars, +45 enhanced), with scorch damage counting as weapon damage so can proc weapon traits like Heal Clip, and inherit any weapon damage bonuses. For solar subclasses, all of the scorch stacks are increased by ×1.5 with Ember of Ashes. For this roll, you might be lucky and get the rare Accelerated Assault origin trait, which passively refills 10% of the magazine, and boosts damage by ×1.05 for getting 3 hits within a 1.6s window. Otherwise, Omolon Fluid Dynamics boosts Stability by up to +20 Reload Speed by up to +30 in the top half of the mag, decreasing linearly until the mag's at 50%. Of less interest is Vanguard Vindication which provides up to ×3 stacks that reduces incoming damage at max to ×0.94 for a refreshable 10s (12.5s when enhanced), on kills within 20s of using a class ability. Recommended MW: Handling, with your preferred choice of mod to boost weapon stats, ammo generation, or elemental pickups for builds - and don't forget to check any available seasonal fragile mods.|tags:PvE PvE-Minor PvE-GroupAdd PvE-God M+KB Controller

Inspired by @Saint_Kabr, @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-Minor PvE-SingleAdd PvE-God PvE-Endgame M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for clearing individual Minor adds or tougher enemies in both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content, particularly with Solar builds. Evening SI4 is an adaptive burst sidearm, which are rated B-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic as an decent sidearm, interchangeable with other frame subfamilies. First priority with the barrel perk is Handling, and then with the magazine perk look for something that helps improve magazine size or reload. For single target damage with a solar build, there's trait perk combination of Heal Clip to provide ×2 Solar Cure (140 HP), and ×1 Cure on allies within 15m, when you finish a reload within ~5.3s (~5.5s when enhanced) after a kill, together with Burning Ambition. This works better on a solar subclass to build Solar ignitions on tougher targets if you have an ability to apply scorch initially, otherwise it'll take 8 hits (7 when enhanced) within 2s of each other to apply +10 scorch stacks with +10 added on each additional hit to build towards an ignition. For solar subclasses, all of the scorch stacks are increased by ×1.5 with Ember of Ashes. And even then the perks do not disappoint for either PvP or PvE. The only thing holding this gun back is the lackluster ammo gen stat, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for this season really." What these Evening SI4 perks do

Heal Clip

Finishing a reload within 5.3? seconds of a Kill grants Cure x2 to you and Cure x1 to allies within 15 meters.

Incandescent

Weapon Kills trigger a Solar explosion that applies 30 Scorch Stacks (40 with Ember of Ashes) and deals up to 30 damage to enemies within 4 meters of the target. Killing Elite or higher tier Combatants and Players increases the radius to 8 meters and applies 10 more Scorch Stacks. Scorch damage can be increased through Weapon Damage Buffs.

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.

Burning Ambition

Direct Hits against Scorched Enemies apply additional Scorch on a 0.5 second cooldown: • Primary Weapons apply 10 [4] additional Scorch per Direct Hit (15 [9?] with Ember of Ashes) • Special and Power Weapons apply 20 additional Scorch (30 with Ember of Ashes) Scoring multiple Direct Hits within 3? seconds of each causes the next Direct Hit to Scorch the target. Hit counter persists through stow. Number of Direct Hits required by weapon type: • Bows: 2 • Swords: 3 • Other Weapons: 55% of the base magazine size Scorch applied by Burning Ambition to Unscorched targets counts as Weapon Damage. Ember of Ashes increases the amount of Scorch applied by 50%.

Sword Logic

Weapon Kills grant Stacks of Sword Logic. The number of Stacks and the buff duration are tied to the highest Enemy Rank killed since activation: • Minors: 1 Stack for 5.5 seconds • Elites, Players: 2 Stacks for 7.5 seconds • Players in their Super and Minibosses: 3 Stacks for 10.5 seconds • Bosses: 4 Stacks for 15.5 seconds Damage increase at 1|2|3|4 Stacks: 15% | 25% [15%] | 35% | 50% Additional Kills refresh the buff duration to the duration tied to the highest Enemy Rank killed.

Lone Wolf

Desperate Measures

Weapon Kills grant 'Desperate Measures x1' (DMx1), increasing damage by 10% for 7 seconds. Grenade or Melee Kills grant 20% increased damage for 7 seconds (DMx2). Scoring another Grenade or Melee Kill with DMx2 active increases this to 30% (DMx3). Can be activated while stowed. Weapon, Grenade, and Melee Kills refresh the buff duration.

Headseeker

Dealing non-Precision Direct damage grants the following benefits for 0.55 seconds: • 20% increased Precision Bonus (complicated, see specific damage increases below) • 3% increased Aim Assist Cone size Precision damage increases by weapon type/frame: • Pulse Rifles: Adaptive: 7.1%, Aggressive Burst: 10%, Heavy Burst: 9.5%, High-Impact: 8.74%, Lightweight: 6.3%, Rapid-Fire: 10.3% • Sidearms: Adaptive Burst: 8.46%, Heavy Burst: 7.36% • Scout Rifles: Precision: 8.66% [Bug] Heavy Burst Hand Cannons: 7% increased Weakspot damage. The distinction between Weakspots and Critspots is complicated and we might write an explainer blog post about it eventually. For the purposes of PvP, the two are equivalent.
