Faustus isn't a bad sidearm - the Lightweight frame boosts mobility - now the hidden Athletics stat - for better base movement speed and jump height. But at the end of the day it's still a primary sidearm, all of which need a bit of attention, with mainly PvP trait perks. At base, by comparison with its peers, the stats are good - d2foundry.gg calculates that 25 Range equates to 12.00m hipfire and 14.40m when ADS before damage falloff, 42 Stability is ×1.0550 flinch resist at base, 68 Handling is 0.24s ready, 0.19s ADS and 0.30s stow speed, and 50 Reload Speed is a 1.58s reload. Ammo Generation is 50, Recoil Direction is 95, and Zoom is 12. Bumping up Handling with the barrel perk will make the gunfeel noticibly snappier, but on controller you might want to look at Stability too. For the magazine perk, Alloy Magor Flared Magwell are reliable options for boosting gunfeel stats, or one of the combat effect options adds utility. For Stasis builds, you have the Rimestealer and Headstone combination to build Frost Armor stacks on killing frozen enemies or shattering Stasis crystals, which you can generate on crit kills. The Bray Legacy Origin Trait is solid in PvE, generating around 0.2% energy per hit for whichever ability is closest to a full charge. If you're interested, "Dr Faustus" is an Elizabethan tragedy by Christopher Marlowe, based on German stories about a scholar who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for magical power. Recommended MW: Handling or Stability, with your preferred choice of mod/enhanced mod to boost weapon stats, ammo regeneration, or elemental pickups for builds - and don't forget to check any available seasonal fragile mods.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller
