Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 152 from 2 September 2025 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/5y3KdXwOHAdEiERuX1NtGR?si=87414268eb9642d6) with @Saint_Kabr, @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for dealing with groups of Minor adds in both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content. The Heavy Burst frame Forgiveness means it's towards the bottom of the sidearm subfamilies for enemy damage, unfortunately and like all primary ammo sidearms it lives in the shadow of the micro-missile frame varieties. At base, by comparison with its peers, the stats are good, which is improved further at Tier 4/5 when barrel and mag perks are enhanced - d2foundry.gg calculates that 45 Range equates to 12.80m hipfire and 15.36m ADS before damage dropoff, 41 Stability is ×1.0525 flinch resist, 39 Handling is 0.32s ready, 0.26s ADS and 0.35s stow speed, 24 Reload Speed is 1.86s reload and Magazine Size is 24 (max 38) - firing two bullets per trigger pull, that's 12 shots. The range is very compressed on sidearms, so go for a barrel perk that provids Stability on Controller or Handling on M+KB. For the magazine, use a combat effect perk or look for something that boosts Reload Speed. Using a sidearm, you should be in a range where CQC trait perks like Proximity Power work well. This can can stack three times to provide +15 (+18 when enhanced) to your Melee stat per stack on a kill with an enemy within 15m - a total a +45 (+54) for 10s, refreshable on further kills. In the second trait perk column, Surrounded procs to boost damage by up to ×1.4 (×1.47 when enhanced) when within 15m of 3+ enemies. Alternatively use the melee boost with Desperate Measures for an up to ×1.3 damage boost for 7s (7.5s enhanced) on weapon and ability kills. The Fleet Footed Origin Trait's additional Airborne Effectiveness and Movement Speed are more of a PvP perk. Roar of Battle's +10 Handling and Stability is better, but unspectacular. Recommended MW: Handling or Stability, with your preferred choice of mod/enhanced mod to boost mag size, weapon stats, ammo regeneration, or elemental pickups for builds - and don't forget to check any available seasonal fragile mods.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller

You can use that with Adrenaline Junkie for an up to ×1.33 damage for 4.5s (5s when enhanced) or Desperate Measures for up to ×1.3 damage with weapon and ability kills. Inspired by https://www.youtube.com/@cammycakesgaming (PvP PvP-Duel PvP-God M+KB Controller): God-roll PvP roll for duelling - even with the Ash and Iron nerf, Forgiveness is still an excellent close range primary option. The Heavy Burst frame can be useful in reducing flinch when ADSed. As per the @hugowo_ spreadsheet at https://www.destiny2.science/, at 100 Weapon attribute, best base TTK is 0.733s (4 crits 1 body) and 70% accuracy adjusted TTK is 0.833s (2c 4b). This pairs well with the Hunter Mask of Bakris ×1.06 damage boost for 11s after a shift, which reduces accuracy needed to 3c 2b. The stats, are generally better than its recent peers, except for lower range attribute - but this has less effect with the compressed range on sidearms. For the barrel perk, Corkscrew Rifling bumps up the major gunfeel attributes, or you can take Recoil Direction to 100 with either Extended Barrel or Chambered Compensator. Ricochet Rounds is the best of the magazine perks - you can see the in-game effect of stat changes at https://d2foundry.gg/w/1552443158 for yourself. Look for a consistency perk in the first trait perk column to help with crits. Zen Moment, stacks up to ×5 on hits to reduce flinch and visual shake - very useful on controllers. There's also Tap the Trigger which for 0.6s (0.76s when enhanced) on a trigger pull provides +40 Stability, ×0.5 recoil and ×0.9 Accuracy Cone size. In the second column, Precision Instrument grants escalating damage on repeated crit hits up to ×1.25 at ×6 stacks (×1.3 when enhanced) for 1.25s or until you miss a crit. Mask of Bakris and Precision Instrument together reduce the TTK to 0.47 (4c 0b). For the Origin Trait, Fleet Footed stacks up to ×1 on hits and ×2 on kills to boost movement speed and Airborne Effectiveness - great for a mobile playstyle - or Roar of Battle grants +10 Stability and Handling for 6s after dealing or taking damage every 0.5s or so for 2s. Recommended MW: Stability or Handling, with your preferred choice of mod/enhanced mod to boost Range, Handling, Airborne Effectiveness depending on your play style.|tags:PvP PvP-Duel PvP-God M+KB Controller

In 6s matches, you can have fun with Voltshot in the first trait perk column to apply Jolt to the next target you hit within 7s (8s when enhanced), after a reload within 5.3s of a kill, for additional damage to the target on further hits plus AoE chain lightning damage on nearby opponents. In the second column, to help with kill-chaining, both Precision Instrument which grants escalating damage on repeated crit hits up to ×1.25 at ×6 stacks (×1.3 when enhanced) for 1.25s or until you miss a crit, or Kill Clip that boosts damage by ×1.25 for 5s (5.5s enhanced) when you reload within 3.6s of a kill, can reduce TTK to 0.47s (3c 1b). While Loose Change only helps after the first time you apply Jolt, providing +50 Reload Speed +20 Aim Assist and ×1.2 ADS movement speed, it does mean that once you start a spree it's easier to keep it going. The Fleet Footed Origin Trait's additional Airborne Effectiveness and Movement Speed are more of a PvP perk. Roar of Battle's +10 Handling and Stability is better, but unspectacular. Demolitionist
