[YeezyGT's S16] [MW: Handling] "Widely regarded as the greatest Legendary slug. There's a lot you can do with Heritage. Moving Target is fantastic on Slugs - +10 Aim Assist is huge. Killing Wind gives you a Diet Chaperone. Hip-Fire Grip is actually really strong here, and I've hit far more hip-fire headshots in the heat of the moment than you'd expect. Keep your Handling as high as possible - the range difference is fairly negligible from 80-100, we're talking about 1 metre of range (literally about 1 step in-game), and Handling is massively important."

The Bray Inheritance trait is really useful for PvE, returning from 0.46% to 2% ability energy from hits (the amount depends on the weapon archetype). Great kinetic slug shotgun - good stats across the board. While they're no longer the pillar for majors and boss damage they once were, they still work well as a weapon to swap to for burst or sustained damage. Fluted Barrel or Smallbore are your barrel choices for extra stability with a side order of handling or range depending on your preference. Assault Mag's increased fire rate is effectively a 7.7% boost to DPS, or Tactical Mag lets you get to the maximum of 8 in the mag with a Backup Mag mod. Reconstruction overfills your magazine to double size which means you only need to hit three or four crits, depending on how close you get to the magazine limit, for 11s (12s with the Enhanced Perk) for a 20% damage boost for the remainder of the magazine with Focused Fury. What these Heritage perks do

Recombination

Elemental Kills grant 1 Stack of Recombination even while the weapon is stowed. Maximum of 10 stacks. Each Stack additively increases the damage of the next shot by 10% [5%], up to 100% [50%] at 10 stacks.

Reconstruction

Every 6 seconds while not firing the weapon: Loads 25% of the Magazine Capacity (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Can overfill the Magazine up to double the normal capacity. Works even while stowed.

Snapshot Sights

Passively decreases the ADS Animation Duration: • 50% decrease on Primary Weapons • 20% decrease on Special Weapons

Moving Target

Grants the following while Aiming Down Sights (ADS): • 10 Aim Assist • 10% decreased ADS Movement Speed Penalty

Outlaw

Precision Kills grant 70 Reload Speed with a 0.9x decreased Reload Animation Duration for 6 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Killing Wind

On Weapon Kill, for 5 seconds: • 50 Mobility • 40 Handling and 20 Range • 5% increased Damage Falloff Distance Additional Kills extend the duration by 5 seconds, up to 8 seconds. Buff is removed on stow.

Thresh

Weapon Kills grant an additional 1% Super Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant an additional 1.5% instead.

Auto-Loading Holster

Refills stowed weapon from reserves after 3.5 seconds of it being stowed.

Focused Fury

Scoring 35% of the Base Magazine Capacity as Precision Hits grants 25% increased damage for 11 seconds. Stowing or Reloading the weapon resets the Precision Hit counter. The buff remains active while stowed. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Pugilist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Melee Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Dealing Melee Damage grants 35 Handling for 3 seconds. Swashbuckler

Weapon Kills grant a Stack of 'Swashbuckler' for 4.5 seconds. Maximum of 5 Stacks. (Glaive) Melee Kills grant all 5 Stacks instantly. Damage increase at 1|2|3|4|5 Stacks: 6.7% | 13.3% | 20% | 26.6% | 33.3% Stowing the weapon removes the buff.

Slideshot

Sliding refills 15% of the Magazine (rounded up) and grants 20 Range and Stability for your next shot (of the burst) within 2.5 seconds. 0.3 second cooldown after activation but can activate multiple times during a slide. Buff is removed on stow.

Hip-Fire Grip

Grants the following benefits while hipfiring: • 25 Stability and 15 Aim Assist • 2.7° larger Precision Aim Cone Angle • 30% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 20% increased Aim Assist Falloff Distance • 20% increased Damage Falloff Distance The Damage Falloff increase does not apply to The Last Word, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, and Fusion Rifles. PvP-specific note: the Precision Aim Cone Angle increase essentially just allows you to hit Crits while aimed above or slightly to the side of the head. (This is already the default behavior of Submachine Guns, Sidearms, Bows, Machine Guns, and Linear Fusion Rifles so it does not affect them)
