pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Incisor is an exotic trace rifle in legendary form. Envious Assassin or Subsistence to keep the magazine topped up to keep fueling Killing Tally will open up your loadouts for a ton of other weapons. Kill Clip is a bit easier to keep track of, but it isn’t nearly as strong. The only other competition Incisor has is Appetence which even then they aren’t perfectly comparable as one is Strand and the other is Stasis, so you might not even use them for the same purposes or with the same loadouts. Definitely pick this up this season." Recommended MW: Handling.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "Trace rifles in general are not the strongest picks for PvP. Dynamic Sway Reduction and Tap the Trigger double dip in consistency perks, which you will need as the ammo economy is incredibly unforgiving. If you can manage to scrounge enough ammo for sprees then I would love to see the blistering 0.6s time to kill with Kill Clip." Recommended MW: Range.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 93 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/0uYGSQqlyX1faCyATCDuno?si=IMSCRgTRQr-_THJdjxFMIQ) with @ImpetusAlways and @Saint_Kabr. First-choice PvE pick for add clearing beefier Minor spec enemies in general content. Incisor (Adept) may be the chase playlist activity weapon for S23, being the first legendary strand trace rifle - possibly worth the pain of Trials for! Excellent stats plus the Alacrity origin trait for solo play start us off. Recoil Direction is 94, so you don't need to worry too much. Handling and stability are both useful in a barrel perk. For the battery perk, we want as many charges as we can, so watch for Ionized or Enhanced Battery. For an add clearing weapon, pair Subsistence in the first trait column as the support perk and Killing Tally ini the second as the signature perk. You'll get an untimed +30% damage bonus after three kills, with those kills partially refilling the magazine. This works well for a Warlock running Cenotaph Mask to drop heavy ammo for a fireteam. Recommended MW: Handling, with a damage boosting (Minor or Taken Spec) mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-EndGame, PvE-God, M+KB, Controller

For the battery perk, we want as many charges as we can, so watch for Ionized or Enhanced Battery. For a backup weapon to use against bosses, Envious Assassin can load a ridiculous 260 charges in your battery after 15 kills with other weapons, which means you can reach the upper +40% stack of Target Lock's damage boost with sustained fire against a target. What these Incisor (Adept) perks do

Killing Tally

Weapon Kills grant a Stack of Killing Tally. Maximum of 3 Stacks. Stowing or reloading the weapon removes all Stacks. Damage increase at 1|2|3 Stacks: • PVE: 10% | 20% | 30% • PVP: 5% | 10% | 15%

Subsistence

Weapon Kills refill 10% of the magazine (rounded up) from reserves. Submachine Gun and Auto Rifle Kills refill 17% of the magazine.

Target Lock

Successive Hits within 0.2 seconds of each grant a ramping Damage Buff after scoring 12.5% of the Magazine Capacity as hits. Missing deactivates the buff. Stacks displayed on-screen are only visual aides, the buff ramps up with each shot once active. Reaches maximum strength at 5 Stacks. % of the Magazine Capacity as Hits required for each Visual Stack: 12.5%|35.5%|54.5%|74.5%|110.33% Damage Buff ramps up from 16.73% [10.46%] to 40% [25%] upon reaching maximum strength. Assuming no missed shots, it provides roughly a 25% [15.85%] Damage Buff on average after firing 100% of the Magazine Capacity.

Envious Assassin

Upon readying the weapon after scoring Kills with your other Weapons: Refills and/or overfills the Magazine from reserves based on the amount of Weapon Kills scored. Maximum total overfill amount is 200% of the Magazine Capacity. Each activation can only load up to 100% of the Magazine Capacity into the magazine. Loaded ammo per Kill by ammo type (rounds up): • Primary Weapons: 10% of Magazine Capacity • Special and Power Weapons: 20%

Slice

Using your Class Ability (even while the weapon is stowed) grants you 'Slice' for 8 seconds. While 'Slice' is active, damaging non-Severed targets Severs them, grants a stack of Slice, and refreshes the buff duration. (Hitting immune targets also triggers this.) Reaching 5 stacks immediately removes the buff. If the Severing hit kills the target, the perk will not trigger and you will not gain a stack.

Kill Clip

Finishing a reload within 3.6 seconds of a kill grants 25% increased damage for 5 seconds. Stowing the weapon removes the buff. Does not buff the Splash/Explosive damage elements of other perks.

Hatchling

Scoring a Precision Kill or 3 kills within 3 seconds of each other spawns a Threadling at the target's location.

Dynamic Sway Reduction

Each shot while holding down the trigger grants the following benefits: • 1 Stability • ?% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth Reaches maximum strength after 10 shots, granting 10 Stability, ?% decreased Accuracy Cone Size, and 100% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth.

Tap the Trigger

Firing grants 'Tap The Trigger' for 0.6 seconds, providing the following benefits: • 40 Stability • 50% decreased Recoil • 10% decreased Accuracy Cone Size Fusion Rifles only receive 25% of the benefits. Buff cannot be refreshed until Automatic Weapons stop firing, or until the next burst. [Controller-Only] Weapon fires the instant trigger pressure is applied.

Perpetual Motion

While moving at a minimum of 2 meters per second: Grants a Stack of 'Perpetual Motion' after 2 seconds and a second Stack after 10 seconds. Each Stack provides 10 Stability, 10 Handling, and 10 Reload Speed. All Stacks are removed if movement speed is below 2 m/s for 0.5 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed.

Zen Moment

Benefits granted per Stack: • Grants ?% Flinch Resistance • Reduces Visual Weapon Shake by 15% • Reduces Reticle Bounce by 15% Stacks gained per Weapon Hit by weapon type: • Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles: 2? • Pulse Rifles, Sidearms: 1.5 • Other Weapons: 1
