pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): Recommended MW: Charge Time. High-Impact Frame(960) Arc Fusion Rifle Special Ammo. "Controlled Burst feels like a better Backup Plan. With full investments into charge time and Controlled Burst you could voop as fast as an adaptive or even a rapid-fire while maintaining or increasing your damage through surge mods and other means. Auto-Loading Holster is the obvious choice, but Overflow is incredibly strong for keeping up those bursts. Envious Assassin and Demolitionist are also great shouts as well. Reservoir Burst is the tried and true, so keep using that if you like booms. But Controlled Burst feels strong and it’s all about the power fantasy, right?"

"In PvP Controlled Burst will be great for going on those streaks but we haven’t seen many fusion rifles with Eye of the Storm. Dreambreaker was the first and then came Glacioclasm, but we haven’t seen Eye of the Storm on an adept fusion before. Making this a really strong contender for being the most consistent high-impact fusion in the game. Under Pressure or Firmly Planted paired with Eye of the Storm will give you huge amounts of consistency. Maybe a better 3v3 weapon compared to Controlled Bursts 6v6 focus."

First-choice PvE pick for burst damage against Majors in end-game activities. Loaded Question is back, and has some interesting new combinations. Being a high-impact fusion rifle, there are only five bolts, so stability is slightly less of an issue - Fluted Barrel adds useful handling, and Hammer-Forged Rifling or Smallbore add Range as the barrel perk. There are traits which bypass reload time and work best with as large a magazine as possible, so Ionized or Enhanced Battery are the top battery choices. In the first trait slot as the support perk, Overflow doubles your magazine size just for running over a special ammo brick, or 7-8 rapid kills with another weapon overfills the magazine by up to 10 shots with Envious Assassin. Every shot in your overfilled mag, beyond it's normal limit, will trigger Reservoir Burst in the second trait slot as the signature perk, a Chain Reaction-type explosions on kills to clear adds, and +25% damage to burst down Majors and maybe the occasional boss DPS phase. Plus you can build into the Arc 3.0 blinding and jolting verb kit with an arc subclass, making this a bit of a PvE Swiss-Army Knife. Accelerated Coils

Decreases charge time by 40ms and damage by 2%.

Reservoir Burst

Passively grants 30 Magazine Size stat. (Identical to a Backup Mag mod) While Magazine is at or above maximum capacity: Grants 30% increased damage and causes enemies to explode on death, dealing 162.5 damage in a ? meter radius. Explosions inherit the weapon's element and Combatant Damage Scaling. Explosions triggered with Linear Fusion Rifle kills deal an additional 30% increased damage.

Auto-Loading Holster

Refills stowed weapon from reserves after 3.5 seconds of it being stowed.

Overflow

Upon picking up Special or Heavy Ammo: Refills and Overfills the Magazine from reserves. Overfill amount maxes out at 100% of the Magazine Capacity. Activates even while stowed.

Controlled Burst

Scoring a Kill or hitting every shot in a burst grants 20% increased damage and 10% decreased Charge Time for 2 seconds.

Frenzy

After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Under Pressure

Grants linearly scaling benefits as the Magazine drops from 50% of its base capacity to empty: • 12.5% to 25% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 0 to 30? Stability

Firmly Planted

While Crouched: • 30 Handling and 20 Stability • -40% Accuracy Cone Size • -17% Accuracy Cone Growth • -80% horizontal Recoil Effects are halved on Fusion Rifles (decimals are rounded up).

Eye of the Storm

Grants a scaling buff to Handling and Accuracy as your Shield Health drops below 40 and reaches maximum strength at 0 Shield HP. Buff at maximum strength grants: • 30 Handling • 40% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 17% decreased Accuracy Cone Growth The buff linearly scales from 0% at 80 Shield HP to 100% at 0 Shield HP (Critical Health). It initially triggers as you drop to 40 Shield HP — giving you 50% of the maximum buff. However, as you regenerate your Shield Health, the buff will still remain until you reach 80 Shield HP where the benefits scale down to zero.

Envious Assassin

Upon readying the weapon after scoring Kills with your other Weapons: Refills and/or overfills the Magazine from reserves based on the amount of Weapon Kills scored. Maximum total overfill amount is 200% of the Magazine Capacity. Each activation can only load up to 100% of the Magazine Capacity into the magazine. Loaded ammo per Kill by ammo type (rounds up): • Primary Weapons: 10% of Magazine Capacity • Special and Power Weapons: 20%
