Inspired by @Saint_Kabr, @CourtProjects and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-Minor PvE-GroupAdd PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for clearing groups of Minor adds in both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content. Nox Sidereal IV is an aggressive fusion rifle, which are rated B-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic offering best one-mag boss DPS post-buff 9.5.0 in December 2025, although still a bit awkward to use on some bosses. The frame intrinsic fires three bursts of four bolts each in an increasingly wider spread as per the https://www.destiny2.science/ Destiny Data Compendium. The stats are poor by comparison with its peers - hopefully when the website's back https://d2foundry.gg/w/2875763009 will show how the weapon stats impact in-game performance. First priority with the barrel perk is recoil control, and then with the magazine perk look for something that helps improve battery capacity or speeds up Charge Time. For add group clearing, use Clown Cartridge or Ambitious Assassin to overflow the battery to use with Reservoir Burst, which boosts battery capacity and provides a ×1.25 (×1.275 when enhanced) damage boost when the battery is at or above maximum capacity, triggering a ~1-2m AoE explosion on a kill. If you can get close enough to reliably land shots, with the high one-mag damage this could also be a good burst damage weapon against orange and yellow-bar enemies. The Wild Card origin trait provides the chance of Telesto-like "Experimental Submunitions" dropping on a kill - the number depends on the enemy tier - that last up to 10.5s and explode on contact or proximity to an enemy. Of less interest is Vanguard Vindication which provides up to ×3 stacks that reduces incoming damage at max to ×0.94 for a refreshable 10s (12.5s when enhanced), on kills within 20s of using a class ability. If you're interested, "Nox Sidereal" is a compound phrase derived from Latin, meaning "night of the stars". Recommended MW: Charge Time, with an enhanced Charge Time mod or with your preferred choice of mod to boost weapon stats, ammo generation, or elemental pickups for builds - and don't forget to check any available seasonal fragile mods.|tags:PvE PvE-Minor PvE-GroupAdd PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

First priority with the barrel perk is recoil control, and then with the magazine perk look for something that helps improve battery capacity or speeds up Charge Time. For add group clearing, use Clown Cartridge or Ambitious Assassin to overflow the battery to use with Crystalline Corpsebloom which procs on a kill to provide a 4s buff - kills with the buff active generate a Stasis seeker which travels 3m before spawning a medium Stasis crystal (large when enhanced) - these are weapon-generated entities so can inherit damage buffs, and proc weapon traits like Ambitious Assassin, and subclass fragments when shattered for AoE damage. Adamsdown_Boy written as at v9.5.6 (PvE PvE-Boss PvE-BurstDamage PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for burst DPS against Banes, Elites, Champions or Minibosses, or shorter boss DPS windows in both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content. Nox Sidereal IV is an aggressive fusion rifle, which are rated B-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic offering the best one-mag boss DPS post-buff 9.5.0 in December 2025, although still a bit awkward to use on some bosses. First priority with the barrel perk is recoil control, and then with the magazine perk look for something that helps improve battery capacity or speeds up Charge Time. For burst damage when you're close enough not to worry about landing bolts, in the first trait perk column use Clown Cartridge to overflow the battery or Demolitionist to refill the battery on grenade use once the battery's empty with Frenzy which, after being in combat for 12s - that's dealing or taking damage, boosts damage by ×1.15 for a refreshable 7.2s and boosts Handling and Reload Speed by +100. The Wild Card origin trait provides the chance of Telesto-like "Experimental Submunitions" dropping on a kill - the number depends on the enemy tier - that last up to 10.5s and explode on contact or proximity to an enemy. Passively grants 30 Magazine Size stat. (Identical to a Backup Mag mod) While Magazine is at or above maximum capacity: Grants 30% increased damage and causes enemies to explode on death, dealing 162.5 damage in a ? meter radius. Explosions inherit the weapon's element and Combatant Damage Scaling. Explosions triggered with Linear Fusion Rifle kills deal an additional 30% increased damage.
Reloading randomly overfills the Magazine from reserves by 10% to 50% of the base Magazine Capacity (rounded up). Works out to a 30% overfill on average.
Reloading after scoring Kills with the weapon overfills the magazine from reserves based on the number of Kills scored. Overfill amount maxes out at 150% of the Magazine Capacity. Always rounds up. Kill counter persists through stow. Overfill amount per Kill scored: • Primary Weapons: 20% • Special and Power Weapons: 10%
Decreases charge time by 40ms and damage by 2%.
Weapon Kills grant 'Crystalline Corpsebloom' for 4 seconds. Kills while Crystalline Corpsebloom is active spawn a Stasis Crystal 3 meters away from the enemy death location in a random direction.
After being in Combat for 12 seconds: Grants 15% increased damage, 100 Handling, and 100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Works and can activate while stowed. Dealing and receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. For Frenzy, being in Combat is defined as having either dealt or received damage within the last 5 seconds. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.
Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown.
