Precipial god roll & best perks

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 150 from 19 August 2025 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/09YmSx1l928T7hFnj7Kvxi?si=eb827f2ac1974a14) with @CourtProjects, @ImpetusAlways and @Saint_Kabr (PvE PvE-Boss PvE-MajorSpec PvE-God PvE-EndGame M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for burst damage against Elites, Banes, Champions and Minibosses both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content, particularly with melee builds. Precipial doesn't benefit much from the precision frame intrinsic improved recoil direction but it's there anyway! At base, by comparison with its peers, the stats are decent, benefitting from the boost at Tier 4/5 when barrel and magazine perks are enhanced - d2foundry.gg calculates that 68 Range translates to 5.77mm hipfire or ADS before damage drop-off, 45 Stability is ×1.0313 flinch resistance, 41 Handling is 0.40s ready, 0.36s ADS and 0.43s stow speed, 38 Reload Speed is a 0.80s reload per shall and Magazine Size is 5 (max 8). With one eye on using One-Two Punch, for the barrel perk, Full Choke tightens pellet spread or boost Handling. For the magazine perk, boost the magazine size or Assault Mag improves fire rate slightly, from 65 to 70 RPM. One-Two Punch doesn't appear that often in the first trait perk column - for melee builds, the additional +150% damage - melee damage boosts are now additive rather than multiplicative - for 3s after landing all 12 pellets (10 when enhanced) gives you huge burst damage potential. In the second column for weapon damage, you can pair that with Vorpal Weapon for a flat ×1.15 damage boost to focus down orange and yellow bar enemies or, if you're using this to clear a room of bulky enemies, Swashbuckler's ×1.33 damage for 4.5s (6.5s when enhanced) after a melee kill. Alternatively, you could use Slideshot for on-the-go reloads. The Exhaustive Research Origin Trait is very good for PvE - ADS for 1s at an enemy up to 60m away, and the next shot will fire a mini-rocket - these are affected by and can proc rocket-based perks and traits too - with a 5s cooldown. Amazingly, a single mini-rocket hit can proc One-Two Punch on a target 60m away, which should make for some good YouTube shorts. For melee builds, in the first trait perk column, Proximity Power can stack three times to provide +15 (+18 when enhanced) to your Melee stat per stack - a total a +45 (+54) for 10s, refreshable on further kills. In the second column, for damage, Swashbuckler is a natural pairing for an up to ×1.33 damage bonus after a melee kill or Vorpal Weapon provides a flat ×1.15 against orange and yellow bar enemies. Alternatively, Binary Orbit pairs with a stasis or strand weapon for a ×1.25 damage boost for 8.5s (10.5 enhanced) after a kill with an opposite class of energy or, particularly for double special loadouts, Discord generates free ammo for 7s (8s enhanced) after a kill with another weapon.
