pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Reckless Oracle has always been a really fun gun to shoot. With an updated perk combination it allows Reckless to come into 2024 swinging. Subsistence and Paracausal Affinity will allow you to use any light subclass and have a nice extra 20% damage. Otherwise go with the Void synergy." Recommended MW: Reload Speed.

pandapaxxy (PvP / Controller): "Reckless Oracle did not need a lot to feel good in PvP and Kill Clip gave you a blistering fast time to kill. Keep Away will give you a good bit of bonus accuracy, but your range goes from 22m at base to just above 31m at max range and a ballistic mod. So you're mostly fighting against juiced SMGs instead of your standard auto rifle. Keeping range in mind this will shred within that defined range." Recommended MW: Stability.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 125 from 3 December 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/0unzzecMfqDsL3nxHGSQsp?si=d40055092caa4fa1) with @CourtProjects, @Saint_Kabr and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-Minor PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for add-clearing groups of Minors in general, and end-game underleveled content. As a rapid-fire AR, Reckless Oracle is in a good subfamily for damage output, and reloads with a ×0.8 animation scalar when empty. At base the stats are middling - 26 Range equates to 22.40m when ADS and 14.00m hipfire, 42 Handling equates to a 0.40s ready, 0.31s ADS and 0.37s stow time, and 55 Reload Speed is a 1.73s reload. You'll need to control the frankly awful recoil direction of 59 - Arrowhead Brake as the barrel perk is the best way of doing that. High-Caliber Rounds works well on rapid-fires for extra flinch, or Armor-Piercing Rounds synergises with the origin trait when there's an AR anti-barrier mod in the seasonal artifact. To deal with groups of adds, the trait perk combination of Destabilizing Rounds and One for All provides a damage boost of ×1.35 for 10s, useful for dealing with bulkier adds, as well as spreading volatility on kills. The Photoinhibition origin trait is very strong for PvE - a ×1.343 damage boost against barriers and elemental shields and ×1.216 against combatant overshields plus disorienting your target and, if matched with the shield type adds nearby too for 7s. Recommended MW: Handling, with a Backup Mag mod or, when masterworked, Synergy to create Void Breaches or, when the artifact mod's around, Stunloader.|tags:PvE PvE-Minor PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

As a trait perk pairing, Demolitionist and Paracausal Affinity forms a natural play loop on light-based subclasses. Use a grenade to kill an enemy to gain a ×1.2 damage boost for 6s that's refreshable on weapon kills, and which gets grenade ability energy back quickly in case you need a way to easily re-proc. The Photoinhibition origin trait is very strong for PvE - a ×1.343 damage boost against barriers and elemental shields and ×1.216 against combatant overshields plus disorienting your target and, if matched with the shield type adds nearby too for 7s.
