pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "The palindrome. Madam, I'm Adam. This was a fan favorite. I'm glad it's back. It doesn't have a ton of utility in PvE. Explosive Rounds being in the first column is nice and boosts your passive damage a bit. Outlaw being the only reload perk is kinda sad (unless you use solar Elemental Capacitor…ew). Magnificent Howl will get you those big damage shots, while Master of Arms will be lower damage but much more frequent." Recommended MW: Reload.

pandapaxxy (PvP / M+KB / Controller): "The stomping grounds for Palindrome was always the Crucible, why it got relegated to nightfalls is beyond me. Elemental Capacitor will boost your already high stats as nothing was gained or lost from the old version. Explosive Payload is fine for extra flinch but you lose a touch of range. Opening Shot is the easiest to recommend as it's always good. Snapshot Sights is also good neutrally. Magnificent Howl, Desperate Measures, or Master of Arms will all slightly adjust your damage. Magnificent Howl is the only guaranteed way to two-tap, but Desperate Measures and Master of Arms will both adjust your ease of use but none really shift the needle outside of needing one less crit. And it's also not guaranteed because depending on resilience you may need 2 stacks of either to kill all resiliences for 2c1b." Recommended MW: Range.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 133 from 11 March 2025 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/49VFDRj05iDXTJDOBqQpga?si=e61731a19fb64938) with @CourtProjects, @Saint_Kabr and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE pick for sustained damage against bosses in both general at-level or better, and end-game underlevelled content. The Palindrome is back, as an arc rather than void adaptive hand cannon and, even though it's a primarily PvE perk pool, there are still a fre PvE rolls worth looking at. At base, the stats are okay by comparison with its peers - 50 Range and 14 Zoom equates to 30.75m ADS and 20.50m hipfire, 58 Stability is ×1.1641 flinch resist at 100 Resilience, 50 Handling is 0.33s ready, 0.25s ADS and 0.37s stow speed, 42 Reload Speed is a 2.71s reload, Recoil Direction is 98, and base magazine size is 10 (max 14). Use the barrel perk to improve Handling, and then the magazine perk boost Reload Speed. The refreshed loot pool offers a combination of Explosive Payload for an ×1.1 damage bonus to crits and ×1.15 to body shots together with Desperate Measures for an up to ×1.3 multiplier for 7s for weapon and ability kills (which stacks with Explosive Payload). Wild Card is the most fun of the origin traits, dropping Telesto-like "experimental submunitions" on kills. If there's a champion mod, then Stunning Recovery is great to trigger health regeneration on a champion. Recommended MW: Handling with a Backup Mag mod or, when fully enhanced, Synergy for Ionic Traces or when the champion mod's on the seasonal artifact, Stunloader. Also, don't forget to check whether there's a useful Seasonal Fragile mod for the activity you're running.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-God M+KB Controller
